My PRIV dropping 2% of battery instead of 1 - BlackBerry Priv

Hey
I just noticed that my PRIV dropping 2% of battery instead of 1%. For example after fully charged dropped from 100% to 98%, from 97% to 95% and from 93% to 91% etc... I did factory reset more than 3 times and update my device to latest update. But without success.
I owned another PRIV but never figured out that issues.
So how to fix this issue?
Sorry for my English.

Update all apps from the play store. I know it sounds absurd, but believe me, it works. Happened to me as well.

I have the same issue. I don't know the cause. Having said that, I think the battery life is as good as it can be on this device (or any Android for that matter). I think it is just draining that fast in certain instances.

Q. battery question

Is anyone experiencing weird issues with battery before recharging? i had 2 days phone on batt and 3hrs screen on. It was at 53 % before i decided to charge. I fully charged it and now im losing 10% every hour even with phone on idle. Its weird cause every other charge will last a long time.

Yeah, I'm still stock on this phone and I'm getting inconsistent battery life. I usually charge every night, so I'm running about 16-17 hours per day. Almost identical usage each day but one day I'll plug in with 45-50% remaining and the next it will be dead when i plug in. Very odd. I'm going to root this thing just so I can get rid of the bloat apps. Well, that may not be the only reason I root. I may be compelled to put some AOSP on this and see how it rocks it.
well i don`t really recommend to ROOT stock rom, it caused for me a battery drain ! also KitKat known for drain issue even on Pure android on Nexus 5. I don`t really know a fix but i`d give u some tip and it might help
1. Re-flash D80020c
2. After re-flash do a factory reset
3. Don`t root or mod your OS
4. Turn off Sync or Location Service (or set to battery saver mode)
i did those steps and i have 34 hour on battery:
3 Hour screen on time (and about 30-40 min gaming in this 3 hour)
Left about 49%
i hope i helped a little
Potential solutions:
Have a look in Settings > General > Battery and see what seems to be using the most power. You could have a problem app that’s using GPS or trying to update frequently. If you can identify the culprit then you can remove it.
There’s a slim chance you have a faulty handset. If adjusting your usage and tweaking settings doesn’t’ result in any improvement then take your LG G2 back to the retailer or carrier and get a replacement.

I always have location turned off with all bloatware rwmoved. I honestly think you have to drain it to about 20% then charge. Cause i never have problems when i do that. Gonna try and drain it out again and recharge and see what happens then.

Its kitkat,it says rooted d80020c in my signature. Well here is my latest results. Left it on overnight and was at 53% with data off. Checked it this morning and everything was back to normal again no battery drain or low estimated battery times.weird cause i charged it around this percentage. I think you have to take it down to at least 20 before charging will find out later today when i charge.

well i really not heard about Deep sleep drain but while idle it`s drains bit faster then JB, with jb i could get max 40 hour and about 6hr screen on time and + 10-15% battery while on KK i can get 42 hour but about 5 hr and 45 min screen on time with 0% battery it`s seems a bit problem for 4.4.2 i think Google will fix it and hopefull we`ll get new update from AT&T if this prob will fixed
P.S i saw that if battery at 100%, overnight it won`t fall to 99 but while battery is on below 100% it drains about 1-2 % overnight is that a known prob?

2% overnight is pretty good, given that it's on WIFI I'm assuming?
I lost 25% overnight last night when I was off WIFI, so I factory resetted mine.
Took it down to 20% and discharged and its fine. Im guessing its a bug, but, easy fix just take the battery down to 20% or lower before charging

98% deep sleep but 48% battery drain? What gives!

I charged my phone for a little bit last night because it was a little low (48%). I took it off at about 77%. I don't understand what happened. Why did it just drop like a rock? Phone is AT&T LG g2, stock 4.2.2 rooted.
Jesus that can't be good.
I have no clue about this one; it's just too weird.
I'd probably let it fully deplete and then completely charge it and see if it ever does it again.

That's what I'm going to do. Unfortunately this is not the first time it has happened. This happened about 2 weeks ago, but then my GSAM showed a HUGE signal decrease at the same time my battery drained, so I figured it was just that.
This time I just do not understand. I've had this phone since August or September and it's been great until this randomly started happening in the past couple weeks.

Well it says 66% of that was phone radio signal. So that is the problem 90%. I had similat problem only it was while charging, so my phone wasnt charging almost at all, when i restarted it was charging fine (from 20% to 100% in 90 min) . What happened when u picked it up, was it still doing that? Or maybe its a some kind of cpu loop if that is even possible. Some people was complaining about nexus 5 rapidly discharging with combo of some lite apps (news readers).

Yes even after picking it up, the drain continued. I've let it die and am charging the phone while it's off but I don't know if the problem will be fixed.
The youtube app was causing a major battery drain for me a few days ago,now I close it after using it just in case . I'm in the habit of checking the phone's temperature at all times :/
it has a great battery life, especially sceen on time, but the standby isn't top notch at all, I think it's poor software optimization on LG's end, I hope 4.4.2 fixes it.
charge till full. then reboot and check battery percentage.

Note 4 Battery Problems

Hi everyone!
I got a Note 4 a few days ago and it has battery issues.
I got it second hand online from a guy I don't know. I'm from Romania, I think the phone is from the UK, it's Verizon branded. The model is SM-N910V and the Android version is 6.0.1. It's not rooted. I noticed this V version isn't very common.
The battery that came with it was pretty poor, it would drain in a few hours with minimal usage and the worst problem is the phone would suddenly shut down at about 30-35% battery life. Then it would go into a booting loop, without being able to actually boot until I plugged it in.
I bought a new genuine battery from a popular online store here (F64), battery life is better, but still with just wifi, it went to 50% in about 2 hours of browsing. Without wifi or data (very little), it lasted for a day and a half. But the phone suddenly shut down at 8% battery life, again going into a booting loop, without being able to actually boot until I plugged it in. I'd also like to mention, when the new battery came, it only had 4% battery life left (I heard they should come about half charged, is that true?) and also there were a few reviews from people who had to try multiple batteries from this store until they got lucky with a good one. Both the old and the new batteries look identical, I don't see any signs of counterfeit.
Should I return the battery and try a new one? Is there a chance there's something wrong with the device itself?
Thank you very much!
Common problem.

Return the battery.
The seller store the battery in a very poor way.
Lithium should be kept at around 40% charged if you store it for a long time (more than 1 month)
I have 5 batteries with me, 3 of them are considered broken (70 - 60% left)
The last 2 are still in very good condition, around 98 - 99%
About your device, you will need around a few days of charge cycle with a good battery.

Thanks for your answer. I didn't know batteries for this phone are so problematic.
I just charged it to 100% slowly from my PC, will use it normally and see how much the battery lasts and if it shuts down again. As I went through forums, some people say I need to do battery calibration. If it's still bad, I'll return it.
Thanks again!
Try to get a battery direct from Samsung. Failing that buy a PowerBear or Anker. Do a factory reset and calibrate your battery by fully charging it, then running it down to 0% (if it shuts down, keep turning back on until it won't turn on). Then charge fully back to 100% again - DO NOT USE FAST CHARGE.

I will look for a store somewhere. I don't think I can find those two brands here.
I did a factory reset when I bought it a few days ago, but that was with the old battery. Will do the factory reset after I drain it to 0% later today.
I don't have a 'fast charge' charger, and I have it disabled in settings.
Thank you for your response!

What I said before is for all phone that uses Lithium Battery.
Lithium Battery must be kept in a storage at around 40 - 80% charged & must avoid hot places if you don't use it for a long time.
Draining Lithium Battery to 0% will deteriorate the battery faster so it's a big NO.
Calibration is done on the phone not the battery.
Delete "batterystats.bin" to calibrate the battery gauge.
Calibration is useless if the battery is bad (you received it at 0% it means that the storage condition is bad thus the battery is bad.
Charging from PC is a BIG NO as USB port on PC only provide around 500mAh & usually it's unstable.
The charging rate is too low & it could deteriorate the battery faster too.
And the last....I think factory reset doesn't necessary reset the batterystats.bin, so you have to delete it manually if you are rooted or follow this link if you are not rooted.

I had a similar problems, and I have received my new battery yesterday which has been charged in 51% so I drained it to 1%-0% without unexpected shutting downs, I have charged it again and so far it seems to be ok

Hi, I didn't return the new battery after all, I think it 'calibrated' itself after the first charge. Also it goes from 100% to 1% and shuts down properly now.
I did two tests on full battery:
- barely using it, no wifi, data etc, just a few short calls (probably 30 mins of OST) and it lasted almost 6 days
- stress test, wifi and data on, gps with maps and waze on, maximum brightness and and a very long youtube video playing constantly (screen on) and it lasted about 5 hours and 30 mins
In normal use it lasts me about 2 days, but it slightly worries me that if I keep mobile data on all the time it only lasts until the end of the first day.
Would this be considered a good battery life for the Note4?
Thanks to everyone for replying and helping!!

Is my battery degraded ?

Hey guys, How you all doing ?
First of all, I recently got in hands a Nexus 6p! Bought It used (8 months of use), and its perfect, everything os ok.
Then, I rooted It and now i'm using the Android O ROM, with franco kernel.
But, I've been noticed that the battery sometimes drains 2%-3% too quickly. And yesterday my phone shutdown at 18%!
I was experiencing the 2-3% drain on 7.1.2, but not the shutdown.
I dont get that bad SOT, like 3h-4:30 is still a thing for me.
What do you guys think ? Is It bad battery or software related problem ?
Should I consider doing this trick and go back to Android N ? https://www.google.com.br/amp/s/for...-6p/help/nougat-battery-bug-fix-t3559250/amp/
Here is one print from my screen on time and accubattery.

First of all, going "back" to anything is not going to help you. Android 8.0 is not the issue, it may be a degraded battery, especially if you are having early shutdowns. Please open the Health page (Saúde) and post it. That is where you will find your estimated battery capacity relative to a new battery. You should have a few full charges before this percentage stabilizes. Try draining it as low as you can go (or when it shuts off), and then let the phone charge fully until Accubattery tells you your phone is fully charged NOT the phone reporting 100%. It's common for the phone to continue charging 45-60 minutes beyond the phone reporting 100% and you need to keep it on the charger until completely full to get an accurate capacity estimate. Hope this helps. Boa sorte!
Okay. I went back to 7.1.2, early shutdowns got resolved, but the 2℅ drain not.
I followed all the steps of the guide I posted, changed governator, etc..
It have seen to got a little better. Will report back after a few days of usage with accubattery health status.
Thanks!

Battery drain

Battery Drain
I have the Indian G6 with quad dac and its been 6 months since i own this and im facing huge battety drain. Earlier i used to get 5 hrs of SOT and now i barely reach the 3 hrs SOT mark. Even the charger got damaged and It lost the fast charging capability and charges slowly. I performed a factory reset but still its the same. I dont know what could be the reason but my charging habits were bad. I would charge the phone always at 0% or 5% and I would use the phone while charging but i followed this only since 2 months. I dont think this wouldve degraded the battery so quickly but i dont follow that anymore and charge the phone at 15% or 20% and uptill 90%. I still have warranty left and will they change the battery? Is anyone facing similar problem? Please help me sort out this issue because If nothing else works im considering selling this phone as soon as possible. Thank you.
If you go to Settings > Battery > what apps does it show that are causing your battery drain?
Battery usually has a 6mo warranty of I'm not mistaken

I used Samsung browser before and it drained 16% so I uninstalled that and I use Youtube Vanced which is using 14% now...but even without these apps I still see drainage. It was so bad earlier that I got only around 2.5 to 3hrs of SOT and after a factory reset saw around 4 hrs of SOT..but I have to charge the battery by late evening compared to previously where i would charge at night.
