Hi guys, just wanted to know if anyone has a solution for the low volume of Nexus 6p headphone jack. I want to know if there are any solutions without rooting the device, or if rooting will fix the issue. Also anyone know if using usb type c or Bluetooth headphones will fix this problem?
Thanks

Hi,
I face the same problem, but I have not found any setting or anything to adjust in order to stop it.
Hello guys!
I have a problem with my left speaker in nexus 7. Anyone have an idea how to mute this razzling bastard?
Thanks for reply!
EDIT: I know there is an option of simply cut off one of the sound cables but i want to know if there is any software solution for that.
I use a Aux chord when I'm in my car to play music and I've noticed the volume compared to my nexus 6 is 30-40% lower.. Anyone have any ideas on a possible solution?
I can second this issue as well.
Sadly, it's just the design of the hardware. Phonearena's audio benchmarks show that the Nexus 6P's aux jack output is about 1/3 the voltage of the Nexus 6
I don't think software can resolve the issue, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah this is really disappointing to find out as I enjoy this device otherwise

Use a custom kernel and turn up the gain.
I am using Nexus 5x with the earphone which came along with the mobile. But the button in the earphone doesn't seems to be working sometimes. Like i can attend a phone but it wont disconnect the call. Does anyone know how to fix it?? I am confused whether it the ear piece or the handset problem.
Hey guys, my 6p has countered a problem where the speaker does not work, I cannot make calls and the headphones do not work as well.
I wanted to know if i replace the earpiece, the speakers and the headphone jack will this fix the problem? I reckon there are a couple of hardware experts that can help me out.
Thank you
If you have seen this around, its because i posted this on reddit as well. Hope XDA can come to the rescue
