I upgraded to N following the beta route, and had been using 'GMD auto hide soft keys' on MM to get rid of the on screen buttons and nav bar. This is still working fine for me on N, but the weird thing is that I disabled the app (testing for battery drain) and yet I still have button/bar hiding. Since there is apparently no immersive mode on N (and if there is I can't find the settings) I am a bit lost for an explanation. Can anyone help?

When I'm working on N4 - sometimes navigation menu (3 buttons on the bottom) become glitched (see attachments)
Problem disappears as soon as you switch to another app, or refresh the screen or do anything with navigtion buttons
I don't think that it has something to do with the hardware because only navigation bar is glitched - not all screen
Anyone had similar problem? How do I solve it?
P.S. stock Android 4.2.2 (that's my second day of using the phone)
Try flashing the factory images again.

Today I updated my sprint s5 software using the ota update. After I rooted the phone using the cf autoroot method and now an annoying message below the brightness telling me that my powersavings mode is on is there. Theres also a little battery icon when the notification bar is not pulled down. I can clearly tell my power saving mode is on because it is green and lit up. Is there anyway to get rid of it without disabling my powersaving mode? I really dont want to un-update the phone. Please and thanks.
Xposed wanam or gravity box will do it

Thanks. I never even knew what the xposed framework is until today. I installed the wanam and theres no specific feature about that powersaving mode message below my brightness bar. Theres a lot of useful customization options though and I think we're on the right track. Thanks alot.
After installing xposed framework, i used the gravity box(kk) for kit kat and disabled specific notifications under the notification bar menu. Thanks again
Can you turn this off without rooting?

I would also love to know! The last OTA for tiawan has this horrible icon/notification too and I like to leave powersave on
I turned it off with out exposed by long pressing the settings in multitasking, then app info and turning off the notifications. I then turned notifications back on as to not miss any other setting notifications whatever they may be and the power saving notification was still gone. It comes back if you turn off power saving mode then back on. But hey it seems to be a way to turn it off with out root becuase i cant find the specific app that does it not to mention most people say that setting would most likely be grayed out.
I tried using silent timer apps on my OP2 (rooted, oxygen 2.1) but they don't seem to be working (to automatically enable/disable silent mode at specific time). Is it due to hardware notification button or lollipop? Those app used to work fine on my previous phone running kitkat.
Is there any solution for this?
PS: Seems I've posted in wrong section, but can't find anyway to move or delete it. Mods, a little help please?
I use Hush! and it works great provided I mute the phone via volume buttons and not hardware slider
EDIT: Resolved by using android device manager to push a factory reset.
Today my phone boots fine and applications like my VPN begin running normally. However, the entire screen is black (besides my status bar) and there is no haptic feedback or lock screen accessibility. I changed my lockscreen and encryption password last night and never properly rebooted; the phone powered off due to lack of battery... I suspect this may have triggered the problem.
- I can pull down the status bar and change settings, activate car mode (which works,) etc. I cannot enter the full settings menu or any applications though. Nor am I prompted to enter my lock screen password after the initial decrypt during boot.
- Removing SD card does not help.
- Booting into safe mode does not help.
- Opening S finder via pulldown menu briefly flashes my home screen or whatever application is open.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?
I have noticed that my back and recents buttons seem to have stopped working. I had them set so that they were always lit up but they've disappeared.
Has this happened to anyone else and did you manage to fix it? I've looked through the settings and can't see that I've changed anything.
Currently running Action Launcher.
I have noticed that if I touch the Home button briefly, when using the Sense launcher, two small symbols appear briefly - a "b" and something else... Have I accidentally engaged some accessibility feature unwittingly?
ETA: I properly switched it off and restarted it, and the buttons reappeared, lit up as expected. It was a bit of a worry though. Hopefully this will not reoccur.
