Slow WiFi connection after receiving August 2016 update - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi All,
Need help on how to fix my wifi connection. I received the August 2016 update on my s7e and after installing it, seems that any app I open that needs wifi connection tooks forever to load like youtube and instagram. When I tried to switch on my LTE, everything is loading fine. And tried it also on office wifi, seems everything is fine also. Connection at home works well with other devices. its just slow on my phone after the update.
tried to change the channels on my ac router but still encountering the same. i tried also to forget the wifi on my phone and connect again, reset network settings and still having slow connection.
Please help what other things i need to try to restore the wifi connection. I'm avoiding the restore factory settings as it will took a while for me to restore everything on my phone.

[Q] Wifi tethering stops working after a few minutes

Just got my Arc yesterday and noticed a really wired problem. I turned on Wifi tethering and connected from my MBP, after a few minutes of normal usage internet stops working. Although Wifi still shows connected on my Mac but sites will never load.
I keep getting "WPA Key" incorrect error if I try to reconnect before I restart Wifi tethering on my Arc. Thing is this only happens when WPA is on, if I choose no security it works completely fine without any issues.
I also tried connecting from my Nexus One and the same thing happened after a few minutes, so it shouldn't be some sort of conflict between Arc and my MBP.
Everything else on my Arc works perfectly, I already tried a hard reset but it didn't help. Does anyone know what else could I try before sending my phone back to SE?

Hey did you find a solution? Or has anyone got any suggestions, I have the exact same problem. I can connect to the phone for about 2 minutes then it suddenly stops working. I then cannot reconnect properly untill everything is reset. I tried using it without security after finding this post and it works for me as well - I don't want to have it open though, im in halls of residence so people will try using it. Im on three mobile, I wondered if it is a possible problem with their branded software. (USB tethering works perfectly)
I also cannot connect to the update service through the phone, it fails everytime but there is nothing wrong with the 3g connection etc, and only the update service has problems. I know this is not important, but it could be a sign that something is wrong so it is annoying me a little

After the soak update my wifi doesn't work properly, any ideas?

So I updated in the latest soak test to 2.3.6 and after that I have been having issues with the wifi. My home network drops and reconnects all too often and when I run a speed test the bandwidth is bottle necked terribly. My laptop gets 35.57Mbps down and 7.19Mbps up but my phone gets around 1-2Mbps down and about half way through the test I get a connection error every time. I also attempted to connect to a friends wifi earlier today and the connection just constantly kept resetting. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get my wifi restored?

Here is another strange thing it does. When I turn the wifi on it doesn't automatically connect to my network I have to go into the wifi settings before it will prompt the phone to connect to my wifi.

I unlocked the bootloader and my wifi worked fine after that. I have no clue why that would have fixed it but it sure did. Previously to that I had not modified my phone in any way.

[Q] Network Error

Hi!
After Updating to OS 7.10.8107.79 and Firmware 2250.21.21201.401 (Internet Sharing Update) I constantly have problems with my Internet.
If I turn on WiFi and leave Mobile Data on, pages in IE take ages to load and after finishing they just stay white. People Hub will also take forever to load, and there will not be any new newsfeed.
As soon as I turn off either Wifi oder Mobile Data everything works just as expected. If there is no Wifi signal and Wifi and MobileData is on everything works also just fine.
Anyone else experiencing the same?
BTW: Yes I did try a hard Reset, and yes it did solve the problem, but as soon as i used Internet Sharing again, everything went back to as it was before, and I don't want to reset my device every time I use Internet Sharing

Problems with WiFi-Connection

Hi, although my phone shows me that I have a full WiFi-Connection, my phone has several times a day no connection to the internet. So it opens no websites etc. After reconnecting it to my router everything works fine again. Is there a possibility to solve this? It's making me crazy to reconnect all the time to my wifi ........

WiFi problem after update

Help!!! After update to 7.0 my phone has trouble connecting to WiFi. It's not mynetwork because other devices connect and it happens at my workplace too. I've tried clearing the partition cache, restarting it and forgetting the WiFi. Even putting it into airplane mode for a few minutes. I'm not very techie so please keep keep answer easy to understand.
I think I fixed it. I went to my Google account and there was a way to restore my wifi settings.
My wife's G4 has been having the same issue... I cannot get it to reliably connect to any wifi network. Very occasionally it will connect but it only lasts for a few minutes before dropping again. Most of the time it just doesn't see any wifi networks available. I've tried resetting to factory, I've reset default networks under wifi settings, I even applied the new system update that came out yesterday, and still no luck. This is very aggravating. Anyone have any ideas?
