I didn't found enough supporters for this project and 2 of the above voters own j700h not j700p it's why i left the development.

Hey guys, I am working on a ICS espresso device tree and I will keep this brief and I know you have many questions so let me just say this: This will take a lot of hard work. This will take awhile. This will be worth it.
Basically, I wanted to make CM9 and AOKP for the slide but then I found out there was no device tree for ICS. I decided to take on the bigger project. Please don't PM or email me about this, ask your questions in this thread.
I know this was brief and not very descriptive but I'm about to go mobile and I can answer your questions in this thread.
Eventually, once I have a little more work done on this, I will post this in the dev section so people can help. I will update this thread until I have significant progress. If you flame me, I couldn't care less because you would be losing a developer who can unlock the FULL potential of our device (with ICS).

UPDATE!!!; MAY FIRST: I have got ICS to boot! It is horrible but it works and here are some current bugs: Cell connectivity, extreme lag, data, etc.
WiFi surprisingly works lol but I need something from someone, I need a mirror link of daniel's ics build (back when the CM9 dev thread was IcyEspresso...) to see a few thinks and possibly get this goin' so the link is broken in the thread but if anyone has the file... please I need it!
Personally, I think this is fantastic. Good luck, and I hope you get something working sooner rather than later

Looking into it myself. Seems pretty simple... The thing is the One shares the same CPU too, and no one had managed to port it yet... Should be simple though

I'm trying my best... I've been fighting depression lately and I habeny fell the same way about anything.
Ever been numb before? Its sort of like that. Like your life is a nightmare essentially
I hope to see my projects take off, but it may be awhile before I feel the same.
AOSwellP had repos and I did work on it, and did make a ton of progress, but everyone's disposition that I was copying others work got in the way and I never felt the same way. That said, AOKP has seen an Uber build which I hope makes up for it. I asked if anyone wanted to see a custom AOSParadox kernel and no one did. Never said it would happen. MR will happen, but we can't figure out why it boots to download mode. I don't think Davy, Naman, or I could even guess what's causing it. I'm going to look into it when I feel better.
N on the other hand, should be easy.
I assure you that I am not a troll. Just someone who wants to learn a thing or two. I've spent days working on things coinciding all of my courses. I've been trying. Trust me.
I will stay true to my word, and try my best.
I think another thing all of us get caught up in is that this is just a phone. Could drop it tomorrow and it would be gone.

Yes misty is putting it lightly. I bought my S2 and have had it rooted for over a month now, and I haven't found a custom ROM to put on it yet. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? I keep checking back on this forum and the CM forum hoping for something

Cm build are on early stages of development as it's a new device with many variants once it will bootable developement should be faster

CM looks to be dead in the water.. and the dev here seems to be awol.
Keeping my fingers crossed that someone continues trying to bring a custom ROM to our tab.
No rom still but demo looked good in video, let's see if anything comes of this. I doubt it though.

For your problem with finals I don't know much about marketing but you could search in reddit for subreddits related to your stuff whether it is studies or marketing stuff.

What frequency should I expect?
I did have one when I was trying to upload the second SS using Gallery app, and it reproduced. However, it was fine when built-in FM was used.

Haven't seen it reboot by itself yet; the one (twice, as I purposely repeated) happened when using Gallery to upload SS (xda).

I have a Pixel 2 XL and it is being said that he has some personal/life issues he is taking care of. The reason why I'm stating this is so that "EVERYONE" won't start PM'ing him. "IF" he is addressing his personal life, the last thing he needs is a ton of PM's from here!

I just want to say, @phhusson is doing one heck of a job over in the [DEV] Project Treble generic ASOP thread. He has an Essential Phone and there is also a thread in Essential Android Development. He only has one phone and it's his daily driver. If you want to read up on it, you'll see that "HE" is making a tremendous amount of progress, in a short amount of time. If anything, he seems to be committed to making this work. Just something to consider!
