Stuck at "Downloading...Do not turn off target!!" - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a rooted Tab 4 Sprint SM-T237P 16GB, Wi-Fi + 4G. I was installing a custom rom for twrp via Flashify app on play store. when I tried to I reboot the device as instructed, it got stuck on a splashscreen with Android logo and says "Downloading...Do not turn off target!!" The upper left in red says "Could not do normal boot. ODIN MODE".
I have tried power + vol down/up/home. Did not work. Right now all i can hope for is the battery to drain. So i am seeking expert assistance from this forum

Did you try flashing the stock ROM back to your Tab 4?

[Q] "Recovery Booting"...

Hi,
I have been searching for a while with no solution for this problem:
I have a I9505 Lte phone.
It's rooted and it works fine.
I also installed a custom recovery CWM. And at first it worked fine.
The problem was I could no longer get official updates OTA, then someone told me I I should try Triangle Away so I could reset the device and the OTA updates would be working again.
Triangle away reboots the phone the thing is after that reeboot I could no longer access CWM Recovery like I used to. The message: "Recovery Booting"... shows up in blue in the left upper corner of the screen and the phone turns on normally (with root), but no CWM menu shows up, ever. (No metter what buttons I keep pressed).
Can anyone help get my recovery menu back even if it is a stock recovery?
Thank You!

Turn off your Phone and wait atleast 10 sec then Hold and press Power+Volup in order to reach recovery once you see the "Recovery Booting" on top of your screen, let go both of your fingers and that should boot you into recovery . If still doenst work reflash the custom recovery such as Philz/Trwp or what recovery do you prefer and do it once again Have a nice day.

HELP!!! My Galaxy S5 G900V doesn't enter NORMAL Recovery Mode!!! & Stuck in BootLoop!

HELP!!! My Galaxy S5 G900V doesn't enter NORMAL Recovery Mode!!! & Stuck in BootLoop!
I think its kinda soft brick!
:crying: Like the heading says! I am stuck in continuous Reboot LOOP!!!
And something strange about this problem!
Let me brief it out!
Firstly tried to install the latest Lollipop firmware USING ODIN v3.09 which is OG5 AND I SUCCEEDED with a PASS!
And then when I tried to restart , it got stuck in "Recovery Booting...." blue text on top left corner of the screen followed by CONTINUOUS BOOT-LOOP OF SAMSUNG SPLASH SCREEN! Not EVEN REACHING VERIZON Boot Animation which is followed by every 2 VIBRATIONS & interval of 5-10 seconds of each loop!!!
And one more thing is I cannot enter the NORMAL RECOVERY OPTION MENU! Instead I ONLY
GET "Maintenance Mode Recovery Menu" Which has 3 options
1 Normal Boot
2 Factory Reset
3 Safe mode Boot
But Sadly and STRANGELY I CANNOT GET THEM TO WORK EITHER!!! As soon as I PRESS HOME BUTTON AFTER SELECTING THE OPTION FROM ABOVE IT DOESN'T EXECUTE IT INSTEAD GETS OUT OF THE "Maintenance Mode Recovery Menu" & Continues WITH BOOT LOOP sometimes followed with Recovery booting text ! Which I believe happens when I Press Power and any of the Volume Buttons!
So I ALSO TRIED FLASHING THE OE1 Lollipop Verizon Update via ODIN WHICH ALSO PASSES WITHOUT FAIL! BUT AGAIN SAME RESULT WITH BOOTLOOP!
AND ANOTHER STRANGE THING IS THAT WHENEVER I PLUG IN THE BATTERY THE GREEN LED NOTIFICATION LIGHTS UP SOLID PERSISTENTLY WITHOUT BLINKING! UNTIL THE BATTERY IS REMOVED OUT OF THE PHONE!
SO I reallly dont know what the problem or fix to this issue! But I request you people to help me out as soon as possible!
FYI
I can BOOT INTO DOWNLOAD MODE! I can BOOT INTO Maintenance Mode Recovery Menu!
I searched every forum regarding this issue but to no avail!
THANK YOU!
Anybody??? Please help I need to fix this phone asap!

My phone won't boot into recovery mode or download mode SM-G935F

Hi i'm currently stuck with a problem. This problem started i entered download mode and got a prompt saying "Installing a custom OS can cause harm to this device, do you want to install a custom OS?" I clicked on no and now my phone just keeps going to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, powered by android screen. I have tried many solutions but none of them work. I have tried booting into recovery mode but nothing happens, when I try to boot into download mode it just goes back to the splash screen. Please Help! :crying:

You want to press VOLUME UP, power and home buttons. Hold until you see Samsung then release. You are booting up in download mode by mistake.

Troubles after installing custom recovery

Hi all,
i have troubles after installing the custom recovery TWR-* file. The device tells me not to turn it off but in the LineageOS description it says:
1)A blue transfer bar will appear on the device showing the recovery being transferred. (works)
2)Unplug the USB cable from your device. (also no problem)
3)Manually reboot into recovery:
With the device powered down, hold Home, Volume Up, and Power
The device shows me "Downloading... DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET".... but the descriptions is telling me that after the blue bar is completed i should turn it off.... what am i missing ? if see at the bottom: starting into recovery but then i get a blank screen and he boots normaly .
i have a samsung galaxy s4 I9505 and i'm using the "twrp-3.1.1-0-jfltexx.img" file.
Thanks in advance,
goofy822
How did you try to flash twrp?
I suggest you flash the latest stock rom with Odin and start over.

S4 GT-I9515 Black Edition XSG stuck on logo screen

I have Samsung S4 GT-I9515 LTE Black Edition bought in UAE. I had official Android Lollipop updated through air.
Few days ago my phone switched off automatically and when i tried to switch back on it was stuck on Samsung S4 Logo screen. I tried getting in into Android System Recovery by press VolUp+Home+Power but i see the same logo screen with Recovery Booting.... message on the top right corner of the phone, it does not go any further than that.
I am just able to start the download mode in my phone. So i tried flashing it with the stock rom of ver. 4.4.2 which i downloaded from sammobile I9515XXU1ANL1_I9515YJV1AOB1_XSG. After many failed attempts i was finally flash the rom successfully but the problem was not solved.
If i start the mobile in recovery mode it gets off after been stuck on recovery booting screen. if i connect the charger while keeping the mobile off it keeps on vibrating every one second. if i try simple power start it is stuck on the logo screen forever.
Please help me to start my phone i am new to learning flashing phone so please tell me if i am doing anything wrong. Thanks.

You do not need to flash 4.2.2 as the boot loader has now changed. Find lollipop 5.0.1 for the phone you have on Sammobile and flash that instead. Make sure it is for UAE black addition.
