You can do it if you're rooted, use ES explorer and go to system apps and remove your desired apps and please replace them with alternative apps don't forget to change permissions

So I just updated from the leaked .13 froyo to OTA. As I was restoring apps and removing bloatware through Titanium Backup, I deleted the "Accounts" application. I thought it would remove the icon from the application drawer, which it did. However, now when I go to Settings > Accounts, I get a force close; also, the sync icon remains in my status bar. Can anyone either send me the apk, or the backup files from titanium??
Thanks in advance!

Is your phone deodexed or not?? I ask because if it is... you need a deodexed Account apk.
Can someone please explain deodex-ing please.
Look for chadhaney(. Com). Sorry for the (), I'm a new user and can't post links. Look for droid x default and it has downloads for all the stock apps.
This is the page i use to reinstall bloatware/system apps. After you download, it will save to your sd card.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App

In simple terms... deodexed is making your phone available to be themed. It removes all of the .odex files in the system/framework and system/app and combine them with their corresponding .apk
In a stock phone you will have as an example Camera.apk & Camera.odex. If you deodex your phone, the two .apk and .odex will be combined into one Camera.apk.
That is also how to check if your system is deodexed or not... look in your system/app & system/framework folders and if you do not see any .odex, then you are deodexed and ready for themes.
Sounds like you are not deodex so just follow what Lt1demon says.
hi guys,
If i wanted to use another dialer instead of stock phone, can i delete it ?
if you delete it, you will get a bootloop, as far as I know.
Just overwrite it with a root-compatible explorer.
Or modify propc´s reframe.sh and change the file names to phone.apk and the directorys to /system/app/phone.apk (or SEMCphone.apk if you´re on SE stock 2.1)
you can delete the dialer.apk, I did. SemcPhone.apk, do not erase, I've tried to replace phone.apk but does not work.
If I helped you, thank me ....
Thanks
I don't have the options to do it another way.

that would be foolish as it stops your network service, anyways you can use systemappremover or titanium backup to uninstall system apps, but do so at your own risk
Hoe do I replace my TwLauncher with another. TwLauncher.apk I have?
did you try replacing the old apk with the new one using root explorer?

first of all root your phone....
then mount your system as r/w by the help of Root Manager........
Then use root explorer to copy Twlauncher.apk from sdcard to /system/app............
it will ask for overwriting the previous one....press ok. done....

no need to stop that process.....
if still not happening..then install any other launcher like launcher pro etc....and set that as default ....then do your replacing job by the help of root explorer as in mentioned above post.......
after that you can uninstall the extra launcher...if u want to use Twlauncher only...
I just installed another launcher from the market, I made it default (when pressing the home button) and then I removed TWlauncher with Titanium Backup. It worked pretty well for me
OK!!!! So now that we have Gingerbread, I am wondering if there is anyway that we can remove the bloatware without having to flash an entire ROM??? I am not interested in freezing them, but instead complete removal to have the free space.
Any suggestions?
I used ES File Explorer which is free. Go into it's settings, and there should be an option to turn on Root Explorer and to Mount File System. Then just tap the favorites star, select phone, then browse to system/app and delete the apk and odex files for the bloat.
The root explorer function seems a bit buggy on ES, only would activate once. If I unactivated and try to reactivate says test fail. Works again after rebooting the phone though. The nice thing about ES is it shows the icons for the apks so you know exactly what you are deleting as some of the names aren't real descriptive.
I used Titanium Backup to remove Sprint Bloatware. Open TB > Backup / Restore > Select App > Uninstall.
Just delete them in 7zip/winrar. System/apps
Yeah, with the ES File Explorer, I notice that if I set the root option and leave the application, when I go back in...it only show one phantom folder. I have to go in to settings, uncheck it...exit the app...then go back in and recheck it. Other than that 'bug', it works fine.
So i have the paid root explorer, and I go to system, app, then i mount r/w but where are these bloat apps? i can't seem to find asphalt or any other ones? are they hidden under different names?
I would like to delete;
ashpalt
telenav
nascar
free hd game(?)
do I need all share?
qik video
sprint tv
Personally, I use the SDX Stock App removal app.
Simple and easy to use. You can back up any app and you can also use it to restore.
I'm sure root explorer is just as good though but I stick to what I know

Yeah, thanks, but I wrote that is where I am going. I dont see anything labeled asphalt, telenav...
found them in data/app.
On AT&T with root. For some odd reason I can't remove the Att system apps. Tried root Explorer and some of the system removal apps on play. Any ideas? I hate knowing the bloat is there and wanting updates every few days.

There're several ways that I know.
1/ Use ES File Explorer and make sure you enable the root explorer option and try to uninstall it using the app manager option.
2/ Go to the root folder of the phone using a root explorer, then go to system -> app and delete the bloatwares you want.
3/ Use Titaninum Backup
4/ Just freeze it with default android settings. It wont run again or take up resources, and will disappear from the app drawer.
