LGD803 CyanogenMod 12.1 Issues - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After restoring my phone to an old (Dec 2015) backup, I realized the internet would not connect. Or, I could connect but I didn't have internet access. After trying everything, I decided to boot into TWRP and do a factory wipe. When I rebooted it said I had a "storage issue" although I have 17GB free. Now it won't even let me install .APK files (I was trying to use a wifi fix app to help with the wifi issue.) Anyone able to help?

[BUG] Market Apps failing to download after root.

Just started to have issues downloading apps from the market. Im on any connection and im connected to the internet but they fail right away with this message "Download Unsuccessful" ..........rooted too. Any Ideas?

Then I flashed the stock firmware downloaded a couple apps no problem, rooted, couple more downloaded then FAIL! Not able to download until I do a factory reset, even than I can only get 1- maybe 2 downloaded.
I'm having trouble as well. I'm rooted, I posted yesterday but nobody replied. Can somebody out hedre try and install fring?
Rooted. And no problems.
Are you signed into Talk for authentication?

I did a reset back to stock pulled down a couple apps then dead after that...CAn anyone pull apps off the market right now?
I was having major problems with apps, then I did a cache wipe and factory reset. Problem solved.
I was also restoring apps from mybackup pro, which may have caused the issue. The apps were backuped from my evo and restored on the epic.
Its a apk I removed just don't know which one :/
I take that back...I lost market functionality again and have not removed any files only rooted AM i the only one experiencing this?
I rooted (using the older line by line instructions, not the single automatic script) and have not had any problems with the market.
i rooted with the one click script and have been downloading apps with no problem, downloaded an update to gps status tonight on 3g and barcode scanner over wifi tonight.
Im having the same issue, I rooted so i can do free wifi tethering (hotspot) and now i cant even download the ****ing app to do so.....

Can't restore settings or app data in CM 13 or 12.1

Hi.
I managed to root my T-Mobile G900T
I put Vision-X on it and got all my settings and data back, no problem. Then I decided I wanted to try something different, and loaded up CM 13. It worked fine, but I couldn't restore my data and settings. I tried CM 12.1 and had the same problem. When I use TWRP and try to restore data I get caught in and endless boot loop. I cannot get any of the app backup apps to work, and Titanium won't even recognize my SD card.
Any ideas?

Google Play Services crashing

Hello,
I have a T-Mobile LG V20 first off.
I installed TWRP and had to wipe the device to get rid of the encryption thing, so it would work properly. I flashed SuperSU back on and restored my phone with TitaniumBackup. Ever since then I am unable to play any music and when I try Google Play Services crashes.
I have tried clearing the app's cache, all data and installing the latest APK. Nothing is working, please help.
I also tried this method but it says the file is corrupt, maybe that is the issue.
"I have got an alternate method who have rooted their phone. Install ES explorer (or any file manager with root permissions). Go to device/system/priv-app/gmscore.apk. install the gmscore.apk. this solved my problem which even persisted after a hard reset also."
I would post this question in the root thread. (That is if you used jcadduono method to root your phone)

I just added it to that thread. Do you have any idea about it?

Snapchat Login Issues

Hi all,
I recently logged off of Snapchat for the first time in six months or so, and I haven't been able to log back in. Running Nitrogen OS 7.1.2 (5/11/2017), stock kernel, stock root. The error I receive is "There was a problem connecting to the server. Please try again."
I've wiped the cache and data for the app, reinstalled the app, reset all app permissions, checked if background data was restricted, tried on WiFi and LTE connections, disabled AdAway, tried older Snapchat APKs, and wiped and reflashed the device. Not sure what to do at this point, and I was curious to hear if anyone else is having this issue. I've seen posts thrown around online about Snapchat preventing root and custom ROM users from accessing the app through SafetyNet, but nothing definitive.
Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas?
Cheers,

U need to disable root completly. After un-rooting und will able to login and then after that u can turn Root on.

[FIXED] Help! Soft brick after reboot [KLTE]

As the title says my device is KLTE
I rooted my phone and installed MoKee os [latest nightly build]
Everything worked great, was not disappointed.
An hour ago I installed an app [used for decompiling apk's, for testing and etc...] and a wifi analyzer app
immediately after opening the Wifi analyzer app I removed it due to suspicious permission request which I accidentally approved [Ah. silly me]
After removing the WiFi analyzer app, I opened the decompiler.
Chose an app and it acted strangely, failed mid way, and after reopening I saw the app was decompiled, looked through a bit and exited
later I noticed that my Data isn't working, can't access the internet, messed with the settings, nothing worked
Enabled the WiFi that I barely had reception to, but it couldn't get to the internet [strangely though my pc can]
after messing and switching between WiFi and Data in order to get online, I couldn't find a solution
So going back to the simple "Did you try turning it off and on again?"
I rebooted my phone and went away for a bit
Came back to see the "Samsung Galaxy S5" boot screen
it didnt get out, tried taking the battery out
removing the cache
re-rooting my phone
installing a new recovery so I can remove dalvik cache[old recovery couldn't do it]
nope, still
stuck on boot.
Factory reset can't be done as of right now, too much precious data that will go away that I can't afford to lose.
Please help
EDIT :
I cant get to safe mode as well.
FIXED!
I basically went and downloaded an OTA update
accidentally installed rom zip instead of the OTA update
and it unbricked!
