I have encrypted A3500F with rooted Android 4.4.2. Each time after the boot when typing the decryption password I have to decrease the sound volume of the virtual keyboard because it's way too loud.
Is there a way to set it permanently to lower volume?
I've tried searching for some built-in setting but failed. I appreciate your help with this regard.
Cheers!

Hello,
my Leo's volume up button is broken and I need to raise my In-call volume. However, this volume can only be accessed in an actual call, with this button (I searched on settings, I only found ringer, alarm and media volume, which could be controlled by touch-pad). Is there another way to raise this In-call volume?
My phone has the DFT-Android installed, I tried flashing back into the original Win6.5 ROM and seeing if it worked there, but it didn't, so I guess it's not a software issue.
Help is appreciated!
Use this:

Enjoy
Use Quick Settings in the Play store
Thank you guys. Decided for Quick Settings. Works like a charm!
I’m facing a strange and annoying problem on my Xperia X compact with LineageOS 14.1 / Android 7.1.1… During phone calls the volume is too loud even on minimum volume level. When I decrease the volume with the volumebuttons I see that it should lower the volume, but the volume remains the same. In other words, it doesn’t matter to adjust the volume level. It’s the case for both normal phone calls and also when I switch to speaker during a call.
It looks like the volumelevel for minimum and maximum are the same.
I’ve been searching in mixer_paths.xml (yes, I’ve rooted my phone), but there is too much info and I can’t find the right setting. Does anyone know what I should change, that there will be a difference between minimum and maximum volume level?
In build.prop I’ve added a command to add more steps to the volume slider. Now I’ve 14 steps in case of 6, but the minimum and maximum volume level are still the same so the steps doesn’t take any effect.
Other volume settings are ok btw.
Yes, right now it seems not to be possible to change the volume during phone calls which is very annoying. All you can currently do is setting the phone call volume in advance. Maybe one can have a look at OmniRom's settings (which have weekly builds but the terrible Google launcher and no built-in root) to work this out.
Hi there
I recently tried flashing noguat (ressurection remix) and I love it, it feels a lot smoother and faster but a included feature for nougat is bothering me
When I connected my phone to my bluetooth speaker on marshmellow (h2os) I was able to turn the volume up and down separately on both the phone and on the speaker but now they share the same volume level so if I turn the volume up on the phone I can see the speaker also turns up the volume.
This is a problem for me since android dosen't have enough volume steps so when I listen to very low volume music it's now either too low or too high since I can't fine tune the volume on the speaker
So my question is: Can i somehow unlink the bluetooth volume? Or maybe add more steps to the bluetooth volume?
TL;DR: On Nougat the bluetooth volume is linked, can I somehow unlink it so it's like it was on marshmellow (h2os)
Thanks

Hi guys. I just wanna ask if there is a way to separate or unlink ringer volume and system volume? I have viper4android installed in my phone but it also increased my keypad press even I set my keypad press volume to the lowest 5% of my keyboard. I want my ringer volume in full but I still prefer to have a keypad sound not too loud. I downloaded some programs from playstore that has a separate ringer and system volume control but everytime I lower the system volume the ringer volume also lowered. Is there any way or tweak to unlink the ringer and system volume? I'm running the latest android oreo firmware. Hope someone can help me. Thanks guys.
Ok so the thing is I have search high and low to figure out how to increase the max volume in this phone. Im running an aosp rom and I have tried every app literally, I mean u won't name one I haven't tried, To get my ringtones louder. It always alters the media volume for YouTube and Spotify and whatever else except for my ringtone volume. It use to be you can go to mixer_paths.xml file and scroll to speaker path name and change the number. I have been all over that file and can't figure it out and I have messed with everything. does anyone one know what file and what value I have to change, or does anyone know how at all I can increase my ringtone max volume on this phone. I am running ion 2.0 aosp rom on build 10. I could never get it to work on pie either. I couldn't get it to work on atomOS 10.0 or atomOS 9.0. please help me. I just want my ringtone volume louder so I can hear my phone at work. Thank you
There are buttons on the side of the phone to increase and decrease the volume of ringtone, alarm, and system. Try that ?
