There is currently an OTA as most of you know that adds Google Video and locks unlocked devices.
There is also the new TW OTA coming out tomorrow.
Does anyone know how updates will work? I don't want to lose the unlocked bootloader but really want the TW and am afraid I'll have to get both to get the new TW.

I would suggest you wait for Devs to get their hands on the new TW & their new ROMs that come from it.
On Samsung's changelog of what's included in the TW update, it shows Google Video included in the package so I'm not sure how some people are getting it as a separate update unless they have a Google IO tab. http://www.samsung.com/us/article/galaxy-tab-10-1-updates

Has anyone received this that doesn't have an I/O Tab? Anyone that has a locked retail? I'm wondering if Samsung's sending this to serial numbers that didn't get locked during production.

I went back to stock yesterday in anticipation of the update tomorrow. I have a locked retail tablet and received the 11.2MB OTA so now I am on KG4.
I noticed the the samsung app did an update today, but didn't notice anything. Is this where the update comes from?
Thanks

you can find apps & games like Angry birds ect..
Edit:
SORRY JUST REALIZED OTHERS ALREADY GOT IT DELETE OR WHATEVER I AM SORRY.
So I checked for updates and it showed me that V10b-JUN-11-2015 is available. Says something about a Google Patch and improving usability. Anyone else got it or knows what exactly it does? Am downloading atm, it is avout 180MB.
So... u r using H815T model? And what are the improvements u have noticed so far?

If you have the H815 you might as well update as with the official unlocked bootloader you do not have to worry about losing Root Access.
I for one have the US991 though, so I refuse to do any updates that *could* patch whatever *might* be in my launch firmware that could be used as an exploit.
I did update. Didn't notice anything. Doesn't affect touc issue...

Getting the 160MB update for the Verizon model claiming it is security updates.
The only options for receiving this update was Install Now or Install Later and you can set a time for when to install it later.

and my software still says modified after the update.
Well I updated. H815T model. And although I don't see any major improvements, but I probably notice a bit more fluidity here & there as well as tad better touch response. But point to b noted, my phone was already optimized by all those settings changes & app blocking that guys have advised for better experience with G4.

Hey guys. My dad upgraded his 6p to 7.0 via the beta program. He still has not gotten the September security update. I keep thinking he should've gotten it by now. Anyone else have this issue?

This is purposeful. Google does slow rollouts for OTAs, presumably to monitor potential OTA issues on release. Every device receives OTAs at a different time spanning weeks.

I re-enrolled in the Beta program yesterday and it sent me the September update a minute later. Try un-enrolling and re-enroll and see what happens. My concern is the camera's new on screen zoom +and - buttons and burst mode button. I find them very annoying and unnecessary. Can't seem to turn em off though.

Ya that's what I had him do. It sent him the NRD90T update. Hopefully from here on out hell just be able to get the update OTA without a problem
In lieu of an update to 7.1.1, I just received a December security OTA bumping the build number up from NBD91K to NBD91V. Has anyone else got this yet?
I'm guessing that Google ran into some late issues on Verizon (as have been reported), and given that they are obligated to push out an OTA every month with security patches, and not wanting to delay 7.1.1 for everyone, they decided to do a separate security-patch-only update for Verizon. Perhaps this was preferable to disappointing ALL Nexus 6p users after all but promising 7.1.1 this month.
As a side note, it is curious that the Nexus 5x doesn't seem to have a similar note regarding the 7.1.1 about it not being for Verizon users.

I use Verizon and I updated to 7.1.1 using the update everyone else got (the one for other carriers) and I haven't experienced any issues at all.
Well, I guess I can't do that now because I'd be starting from a different build. I hope this gets back on track next month.

I am taking the 35mb security update patch as well.
Worst case scenario, I'll full factory wipe next month and clean slate 7.1.1 nougat. I'm a flashaholic so I don't mind much.
I need to decrypt my internal storage. Just gotta back up my music folder. I due for a super clean flash.

On VZ got same update notice. Rooted on 7.0.
Assume security update just won't install being rooted.

It looked like everything worked fine for me. I only had one issue w/ 7.1.1 on Verizon. If I called other Verizon user I could not leave them a voicemail. If I called mobile phones outside of the Verizon network, I could leave voicemails w/o any problems.

Strange, I was able to leave a voicemail with my girlfriend who also has Verizon with no issues.

Did you activate Visual Voicemal after upgrading to 7.1.1 or did you stay on basic voice mail where you have to dial *86 to get your voicemail?

I use basic voicemail, maybe visual voicemail isn't supported on the non Verizon 7.1.1. worth it for me however, I hate Verizon's painfully slow release cycles.

Visual Voicemail is working in it. However, it seems that it causes routing issues with calls to Voicemail on other Verizon user's accounts.
I got this security update as well except I'm on T-Mobile. What's up with that?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers mobile app
Note that if you're like me, and was waiting to sideload the OTA, you cannot do this after you take the December patch. I just tried, it's a "newer build", even though it's not 7.1.1.
Yeah I took the Dec. Security patch and cant sideload now but strangely I was on the NBD91V build before the Dec patch. I did have to sideload the previous OTA since I was not getting security patches.
Wugs Toolkit cant auto sideload stating there is no recovery for the build.
I'm on T-mobile and I received the update (NBD91V). Very confusing.
Any update on anyone getting the January updates? Specifically on Verizon. I'm itching to get onto 7.1.1.

You're in the old December thread (there are several threads on the new January build), but yes the factory images are up at Google and N4F26J has the new radio for Verizon (angler-0.3.79). Cheers.
Anyone know why I would not have the new feature even after downloading the new 1 May patch?
I've never rooted or done anything like that. Just a factory SM-N986U1
thanks.

It wasn't included for some reason, I'm on DUD5 on IT and I don't have it either
Yeah for whatever reason US unlocked hasn't received the update with dual recording yet. I would expect it to be included sometime in the next couple of updates.
