Whenever I scroll through a webpage or in an app, I am noticing that any text on the screen seems to blur while I'm scrolling. I see small shadow above/below any text depending on the direction that I scroll. What is this? I used LG G2 and there were no this kind of problem.

Has anyone else noticed that scrolling left and right on the home panels gets stuttery when the Xoom is upside down (landscape orientation) so that the logos are on the bottom?
does it in portrait too
I've noticed
On my Xoom, scrolling the pages in the orientation you mentioned did shutter the scrolling effect slightly, not so much that one might notice off the bat, but it can be noticed after the initial realization. It's not something I find too troublesome, however with you making me realize this, I will do some testing with some apps and see if it shutters other effects upside down.
I did not notice any shuttering in portrait mode.
I'm running nightly 28 on an HTC Legend. I have a problem in the web-browser. Sometimes, when the browser is displaying the address bar, the screen is "shifted" down some pixels. What goes below the bottom of the screen re-appears at the top. See the two attached pictures.
Anyone else experiencing this? When the address-bar disappears, the screen goes back to normal.
This is quite an ambiguous issue...
How regularly does this happen?
It happens every time I open a new page from the bookmarks-menu as long as I use full-screen-browsing.
When I use "non full-screen" there is no problem.
I guess the browser gets confused about the placement of the address-bar if the status-bar of the OS is gone..
Anyone else experience this in full-screen mode in the browser?
I have before, but it's wasn't exclusive to the stock browser. I used to get it with Opera Mini and Dolphin HD.
I'm genuinely stumped. Sorry.

I have a strange issue. I recently acquired a Nexus 7 in white. When I scroll, the whole image bends though. It looks like the bottom of the screen reaches the end of the animation first, followed by the top. It happens everywhere: Homescreen, Play magazines, Plume columns, etc. Instead of the entire screen moving at once, it bends into a slightly diagonal image. Anyone else have this issue? Will a custom ROM fix it? It's 100% stock unrooted.
I love this device. In every way. Except I can't read text half the time. Kind of a problem, don't you think?
I am have an Lg GPE to on hand to compare/consider. I like the text size, but don't like the size of the unit or the awful, dim, discolored display.
Help me save my Nexus from being returned:
There are some web pages that don't allow zoom. Bigger deal is that my magazine text in the Playstore app is very small and zoom isn't supported.
The 7 allows magnification if you tap it 3 times. This gives me good sized text. But page scrolling is "frozen". You can pull over to the next column, but it bounces back to where you started when you let go of the screen.
Is there any way to make the magnification function work so that when you scroll on page it will stay where you put it?
I am rooted.

Chrome has a option to force zooming on unsupported pages.
Firefox has a little book thing in the right side of the URL bar that enables Reader Mode. Basically it inverts the site (black background and white text), increases text size, and does a couple of other things to improve reading quality.
I know it's more of a work around than an actual fix for what you're asking, but I love Reader Mode.

Is there some way to improve (enable?) better swipe scrolling in apps like BBC News (1.3.4) and the News/Weather app (Google?) that comes with rooting via NookManager?
I've tried both apps, in both portrait and landscape, and have one heck of a time getting anything like a scroll swipe to work. If I do manage to get almost one screen up (after removing many layers of screen molecules) then the next swipe often sends me back to the top of the page instead of further down!
If only scrolling could be ported to the hardware buttons as a general rule instead of only in a few isolated apps
So, has anyone found a solution for these two? I'm ready to ditch them.
[SOLVED] Whoa! So in playing around with these again I discovered that they have a counter-intuitive (to me) scroll behavior. The BBC app seems to require at least one upward swipe to move the page a little and then a tiny bar appears on the right edge of the screen which is like the vertical scroll bar on a desktop. This you must swipe DOWN over to continue moving the page up. The Google news/weather app is similar but there is no bar and you just go right to the upside down scroll swipe to get the page to scroll up. Who knew?
