[Q] Is this battery usage normal? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm having 3 hours Screen-On-Time, and while I think it's "acceptable" I read about some people with 5-8 hours of SoT. I was having some problems with battery drains on Ressurrection Remix and Temasek and the best rom I found for me was Purify. With it, I don't get crazy battery drains and I finally had 3 SoT again, but I find it strange that on the battery usage chart the screen percentage is closely followed by the Android Operating system, not only that, Purify's developer said that he can get 8 hours of SoT (For me this is just impossible).
I'm using Better Battery Stats and GSam battery Monitor to check but there are some stats that I don't know how to interpret, as I don't know if it's normal system usage or a wakelock.
Thx for reading and thx for helping.

Phone will not deep sleep below ~40%

Here is a puzzle. Overall problem statement is that when the battery level is below 40%, the battery drains quickly with minimum wakelocks. In other words, the phone does not "deep sleep" when battery percentage is below 40%.
My definition of "deep sleep" is battery drain slows to less than 1%/hr and this is usually shown in the battery graph as a near horizontal line.
Phone: Samsung i337m (Telus)
ROM: Kitkat 4.4.2 NE1 Odin flash firmware, so everything is NE1.
Other info: Towelrooted, Xposed Framework installed
Below is a screenshot dump of the battery info, BBS, and Wakelock Detector (WLD).
Observe that BBS and WLD are logging since last unplugged at ~1.5 hrs ago. So when you look at the battery info screenshot, please take into account the last 1.5 hr time on the right hand side only. If you look carefully, there isn't too many wakelocks. This is confirmed by BBS and WLD.
Only exception is in the last SS in WLD showing NILS program keeping the screen on for 8 min & 32 sec, which doesn't really make sense.
Check out the last SS for the Poor Battery Drain batch to show that battery drain is much higher at 1.2%/hr over a 7 hour period. This is compared to 0.7%/hr over a similar 7 hour period. The only difference is the starting battery level.
Good Battery Drain SS posted for comparison purposes and to illustrate my point
Based on the above, my only theory is that the battery calibration is off such that below 40% the battery has drained much more than indicated....
Any other ideas or suggestions to fix this problem?

Very high battery drain when IDLE

Hello xda,
I've noticed a somewhat increase in battery drain the last couple of days. I charged it up to 100% and let it discharge overnight, a whopping 25% battery was drained in 8 hours of standby modus.
Now, I've installed BBS and I've come to the conclusion that system_server is taking up 70% battery when idle.
See attachment: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8uz34hblyl1hwwz/Screenshot_2014-08-28-10-13-06.png?dl=0
Now i've googled for numberous hours but can't get a real fix for this. I've already resetted it alot and I keep having this battery drain. is there anything else i can try?
Edit: Im running stock rooted with CF autoroot 4.4.2

Longer battery life with GSam Battery Monitor?

Call me crazy, but after the latest updates I got heavy idle battery drain. Same apps and use, I only could get a maximum of 2-3h SoT.
So I thought I would install GSam Battery Monitor to monitor the battery drain, and guess what? I suddenly got 6h SoT again... Wierd...
I uninstalled the app and tried a new full charge with the same amount of use and got no more than 2-3h SoT again.
Today I decided to install it again and now I have 46% left with 3h 10m SoT.
Am I crazy or what?

I've been getting huge battery drains with Android System and Android OS taking up about 32% of battery life the past 2 months, with no big change in my apps or usage. Seems to even happen in flight mode and screen off....I'm starting to fear it's some google app that broke for our phone, trying to find the cause using BetterBatteryStats ATM.
I encountered 22% Android System usage and it's draining my battery. After a full charge, it takes 10 hours I didn't touch my S3 Neo and the battery is 72%.
I don't know what is the problem. Because the OS should work transparently with minimum CPU and battery usage.

Serious battery drainage

Any idea why my battery would drain about 49% overnight? I attached a screenshot of the battery usage
My battery has been crap the past 2-3 weeks. Right now, it's down to 42% in 9 hours with 53 minutes SOT while on WiFi w/o BT. I was getting 2-3x better than this until recently. No new apps installed. Could be an update, but battery stats has Android OS as the primary culprit.
