When i use the tapatalk app in dark mode you can really see the washed out greenish tint on the bottom. Let me know if others can see this. You can tell with a screenshot but if you take a pick it will be obvious like mine in this picture. You could see where the dark gray becomes washed out towards the bottom.

So far my display colors are perfect. I'm using xda app in dark mode. The grey looks even across the display.

Can anyone that has the xda app tell me if their screen looks like mine? Are the lines in the screen and colors normal?

ok lol i have bad ocd about my screen and i wanted to make sure its normal. i noticed those lines and color on the grass live wall paper and the grey notification bar aswell. guess its just the way super amoled is.
I just bought a replacement HD2 from CL and immediately installed NAND Android on it. I did notice that the screen of the new phone has a yellowish tint to it. I did take a screenshot which is attached (I just realized that the screenshot doesn't have the yellow tint, so I guess that it is a hardware issue and the screen is running "warmer" than it should be). Any comments?

Same problem.... Green/yellow/blue tint on display... after some time or moving the phone the tint goes away! Surely is a hardware problem!:-(
But I don't know if I have to replace lcd or is a motherboard's problem...
the first thing that comes to mind is a loose/dirtyy connection of the lcd to the mobo. m two cents.
i just noticed there were quite a few bright spots on my atrix noticeable when everything is dark grey or black, has anybody had this problem? i took it to bell and they said there wasnt anything they could do since it wasnt serious enough to replace.
has anybody else had this issue? the screen is TFT so idk how this might even happen...

Sounds like a stuck pixel. Do you have any pics of it?
No, I don't have a camera.
I don't think it's a stuck pixel though. The blotches cover nearly 1/5 Of the screen

Same thing happened to my gf's T-Bolt after she spilled liquid on the screen....
Wha but the thing has been in a cover the whole time. Never gotten wet damn.
I don't suppose there's any way of fixing it short of buying a new screen

Hi,
I got my new phone 2 days back and I am facing a bit of an issue. The display on my galaxy s4 shows thin vertical lines across the display especially when it's a grey background. Should I be worried about this and take it to Samsung service center or is it normal?
I checked for any dead pixel with the display tester and there seems to be none.

If you have screen guard then maybe it's bad screen guard.
If it's not then you might want to got to service center. I don't have such lines in my S4.
I do have the screen guard on it but I can make out that the problem is under the display.
It's mostly visible on light grey backgrounds.

Hello everyone, I would like to show you how I solved my green tint problem..
You can see on the images the clear problem with this...
The issue that cause that green spot its oneplus display feature "Vibrant Colour Effect Pro" on display settings.
By turning it off, the green spot its totally gone! the test was done using VLC application. Let me know if it works with other apps!

That's interesting. Does it work in, for example Discord where the grey background looks greenish?
