Write to official zuk support, then you get your answer. If you are not satisfied, start engineering [emoji6]

I read this on Google and some other Forums, and im not sure if this works for CyanogenOS 12/13 in Lenovo ZUK Z1, although it works in Stock Android. If not then i hope that Lenovo provides OTA update for Volte support as Android 5.1 supports Volte for sure.
Maybe we will need to send request to them in huge quantity to send the updates Faster
How to Activate 4G HD Voice Over LTE Call Settings on Android .
First of all Open the Dialer of your smartphone
Now Dial *#*#4636#* .
After Dialing the above number you will see the phone information .

Xperia Z2 D6502 and LTE Support!

Hello ..
I know Xperia Z2 D6502 does not support LTE but where as its other variants like D6503 and D6543 supports.
My query is if I flash D6503 in my Z2 (D6502) then will it supports LTE? Does it requires separate hardware component for it to support LTE?
( May be this is a stupid question but I really wanna know if this can be done)
Thank U.

Hi, first of all don't ask questions in General section. Go to Q & A
You can flash D6503 ROMs on D6502 but you will have no cell reception until you flash the D6502 modem(firmware). Yes the only difference between D6502 and D6503 is the hardware radio(modem).

Only one answer :- NO
Hi I have a D6503 which had some display and camera quality issues (working device though). I bought a second hand D6502 as a result. Anyway can I transfer the radio modem from the first to the second to get LTE? I will take it to a repair shop ofcourse to do the actual transfer.

You can try, it should theoretically work. But you need to flash a D6503 fw before the surgery on the D6502.

Why dont u just interchange the motherboard nd replace camera unit(which is detachable afaik). And this will definitly fix ur display, camera issue and u will get LTE aswell.

Is there a method to use jio sim in zenfone 5 3G??

There is a trick to use jio 4g in 3g MTK and Qualcomm devices, but i am having a hard time to find a solution for zenfone 5 which is powered by an Intel chipset....Please help
Get a device changer app( an app that let other apps think you're using some other phone) and do the necessary steps like installing all jio apps and getting the code
Still the answer would be NO because Jio is 4G LTE only network, it doesn't support HSPA or HSUPA or GSM.

But it's possible for 3g phones running on MTK and Qualcomm chipsets to get jio signal by making a few changes in engineering mode..

Strange... Jio states that their network is 4G only. If anyhow this is possible, it is only possible through enabling 4G via software only when it is restricted. Just like Nokia did on their Lumia phones, their phones had 4G in hardware but they didn't enabled it but a few months later Nokia issued an update which enabled that.

Yes it is: *#*#4636#*#* Dial this and you can access the hidden menu without root and you can even set LTE network mode but unfortunately it doesn't work. There may be solution for MTK devices but this is Intel device so don't expect that because Asus doesn't provide a **** in open source.

Another query bro! My phone is losing Baseband time to time. Every time I fix it, on 3rd or 4th reboot it's dead again. Then after some more reboots it comes back automatically. Should I get the Baseband Chip replaced?

After a little research:
"You need to find chipset of android device. Your android smartphone must have run mediatek or qualcomm snapdragon chipset."
Basically you need a phone with LTE on hardware, even if it doesnt have the 4G LTE antenna as it still has 4G support if you "mod" hardware or find how to enable it (remember nexus 4?) tho thats not the case on the zenfone first gen series, unless yours come with snapdragon.
So please understand IT IS IMPOSSIBLE END OF STORY STOP DEBATING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THERES NO HOW TO DO IT.
good options it to learn from mistakes and use only devices with snapdragon for now on, i kept my zf5 but upgraded to oneplus

Never. The real problem is that when the SIM gets inserted, it loses Baseband (the way I described), else not. I'm using the phone without SIM since last week, no re-boot and no baseband lost issue, so probably it's something related to hardware.
I research on Google and find something like editing build.prob to enable selecting LTE on engineering mood network settings but I don't try it is there anyone try to edit build.prob

If your hardware doesnot support LTE bands then there is no way to use it . it doesn't matter what changes you do in software .
Nothing for now.
So yeah, you're doomed.

Request for VoLTE support in REDMI NOTE 4G Single sim variant

Hello developers. I have searvhed whole of internet and xda too but didnt find any ROM which supports Volte for this model. I would be highly grateful to the developers if volte support can be added to any of the roms for REDMI NOTE4G , preferrebly MOKEE as i m using this and its the best one for this phone. The need for volte must be familiar to you i.e. JIO sim. Jio join can be used but it doesnt works without internet and internet of jio fluctuates too much resulting in numerous call drops. Maximum call time i can use is 10 secs as net goes off in dat much time...... THANK YOU..... The information of my existing rom is added in attachtments.

No VoLTE on my P10 Plus VKY-L29C432B162

Hi All, I read the new L29C432B162 supposed to have VoLTE support, but I can't find it on my phone. Can someone please give me some suggestion or advice on how to fix it? Thank you!
Not sure where you got that info from. The changelog for C432B162 that I found states:-
"This update adds MirrorLink to pair your vehicle and phone so you can operate your phone through the vehicle screen for safer driving."

Speak to your carrier, it states in that video that it depends on your carrier supporting your device with VoLTE. Also, nowhere in the video does it state VoLTE was introduced in C432B162.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 now supports Idea, Vodafone and Airtel VoLTE.

Asus has rolled out a new OTA update to the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone, which adds the VoLTE support on Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular networks. The smartphone already supports Jio VoLTE. Alongside the VoLTE support, Asus has also fixed some issues related to the camera and fingerprint scanner. The 1.4GB weighing FOTA update takes the smartphone to May 2018 security patch.

Bugs on this update.
It's a good update where the fingerprint sensor is working fast and the face unlock us working better too. However I got few bugs as well. The equilzer is not there anymore in the music app. also the gesture to wake the screen is not working most of the time. I hope they fixed it soon.

Make stock launcher as default home in Apps & notif.. -- default apps -- home.
Disable ZenMotion.
Enable dt2w and dt2s again and see if it is fixed.
Use default launcher for some time and then switch to your third party launcher.
This fixed it for me so may hopefully work for you as well

Equalizer has been removed as per the weird Google policy. You can install it from XDA, it's already posted here and it's working just like the stock. The wake screen issue I can't comment cause I don't have the device yet. Waiting for the 6GB variant and I think I'll be old before they release it.

Mostly no issues, except in the Hinjewadi IT park area where 4g speeds are not very good, so I just force it to use 3g, which works well there.
