Can anyone confirm whether email app has pinch to zoom or not?

I know that gmail now supports it but I'm wondering if the regular email app does as well. Any n4 users able to check for me?

Works on nexus 7 with update.. Man 4.2 is amazing!! Seems faster and smoother to which is a surprise! I did not expect these improvements. The new keyboard is great to. Way better than the swype app.

You need to enable it in settings

As above you need to tick the auto fit setting in general Gmail settings. Pinch to zoom the works.

AFAIK the normal Email app has had pinch to zoom since ICS, working fine on 4.2 on my HTC Nexus 5

Dark MMS

Has anyone found or created a dark MMS/SMS for the S5. To clarify I am not looking for a replacement but only the stock messaging apped themed dark. Anyone please point me in the right direction if you know! Thank you so much!

yes looking for stock sms

Other than personal preference for the original application, I've been running 8sms on the ROMs on my retail edition without issue. It mirrors the AOSP MMS/SMS app perfectly without issue, I've had no issue sending or receiving different types of messages. Removing completely, or freezing the primary app and using that app causes no issues either. I understand it's not what you're looking for, but, works without headache and is all dark

Unlock code

So I agreed to have .y phone unlocked and Motorola said they sent me the key but its been 2 hrs... And nothing.. I've looked in every folder in my email and nothing... How long does it usually take ? Experiences please

When I did it on my last Moto x it was like a few seconds. I tried last night and the website just flagged a error and didn't do anything
Tried it again this morning, it moves onto the unlocking page but no email was sent and if you look in your profile, it comes up with request bootloader unlock or something and it has unresolved

Actually a fix I just tried. Make another Motorola User with a different email address and try again using firefox or another internet browser and it sent me the code as soon as I went to the next step on the motorola site!

Alright ,hey I appreciate you trying that out. I'll try with another browser ... Yeah that's exactly what it did to me .. said it sent and went to the next page buy got nothing... I was using chrome.. I'll give Firefox a try today when I get off work and come back and let you guys know what happens. Thanks again XDA friends.

The same thing happened to me today. I requested a live chat with Motorola, gave my Reference number and she provided me the key in 2 minutes.

I tried a live chat with my phone and it just kept requesting the chat... I'll try the Firefox browser and if need be a chat session

They have been having issues lately with bootloader unlock site, there is a work around but you have to go to the official Lenovo Motorola support forum.

Firefox did the trick.. They sent my key into my update folder... Odd.. Oh well I'm on Paranoid. Good deal. Thanks people

Facebook app HD video

Hey guys.
Today I was fiddling with my friends s7 edge's Facebook app settings and saw that he has an option to Upload videos on the app with HD resolution, and I only have the option to Upload photos. We are on the same version of the app and both on the s7 edge. I'm running on 7.0 at the moment, but on MM there was never the option either.
Anyone knows how I can have the option? Thanks

I can confirm I only have the option to upload photos in HD and not videos, I'm also on Nougat and have the same version of FB installed....iirc I used to have the option.
I have read online from what others have posted and the only way to upload videos in HD on Android is via Chrome when in desktop mode, I haven't tried this and it also doesn't explain why your friend can, it's pretty bizarre!

I can't also find the stock app that comes with the phone either, since Maybe that's what he has and just updated. I don't know

Is there anyway you can make an apk out of your app? I even downloaded the beta and still have nothing.

I am a beta tester, but my girlfriend also have this option in her app. So it's not that.

Installed the apk, which on boot even said that it could not load portuguese language (mine) and i still dont have the setting. How messed up is this xD
wiped cache and data from the app before I uninstalled previous to installing yours.

Strange, I can select portuguese from inside the app...

"The latest version of that app loaded with this neat capability now sits at 68.0.0.37.59. However, a report from Android Police, which initially shared the news, says that Facebook seems to be rolling out this new functionality as a server-side switch. This means that not all of its users who have updated the app to the most recent version see this particular option."
No hd from the app for us yet.

Google Dialer app

Can anyone help me out how I can get the google phone/dialer app on our 6T. I have the T-MO version and obviously it's not yet unlockable. Is there a non-rooted version of the google dialer? I just hate the stupid dialer and sms apps that come with the stock OS.
It's upsetting that OnePlus doesn't allow us to install it from the Store. We should have the freedom of choosing what works best for us.

You could search apk mirror for the google dialer. Just search google dialer apk and you should see a website not too far down called APK Mirror.
Not sure if allowed, but try this one. (Mod, if this needs to be removed, please let me know or feel free to do so, thanks)

Not sure off hand. I just came from a Nexus 6 and that had voice mail app in dialer. However I just tried this app and it won't install. You could try searching for a variant of this app

I tried other variants, it didn't install either. It's a shame that we are being forced to choose something we don't want. Trying to download from the Store - tells me my device is not compatible, which is a load of crap!
Can't wait to unlock my phone.

Lol yeah that was the first place I tried too. I saved all my apps as apks from my old phone and tried to install them on the op6t. I'd say all save 4 installed. And the ones that did6were Google apps. I'll keep searching and let you know if I find anything

Solution is found!! Thanks for the PM. XDA already has a thread about google dialer. Latest v25 with dark theme installed perfectly fine. I like this phone more now

The search in dialer works very well, it can be the fastest way to get a number for a local place. The spam block is somewhat less effective but still a lot better than nothing. I'm looking forward to getting the screening which I suspect will be coming our way. I sent my Pixel 3 XL back and that's one of the things I'm missing.

Same here. Google has indicated that call screen is only going to be available on the Pixel 3 for a while.
I hope someone can grab it and put I on our OP6t!!

The apps are more streamlined and fit better with the overall Google environment. Not to mention call blocking feature and scam call screening is amazing

Yeah, they've said that about a number of features but we had the stuff pretty quickly; sometimes within weeks. The force is strong with our developers! I'm sure you're aware of that, I'm just stating my agreement. In a way it's kind of sad; the stock dialer is pretty good, it just lacks a few killer features. Who know, maybe the one plus 7 will see some improvements in this area?
