can you tell me the error?
if it is fsc script not found then you need to manually put fsc in flashtool devices
if it is unable to open bundle it is with the flashtool version you are using
for me all new flashtool versions have problems
the latest version cannot flash like yours
9.24.2 cannot create ftf so im sticking with
9.23.1 with 9.23.2 patch it works fine for me
It is fsc script not found.
I m also using ver 9.23.1 with 9.23.2 patch.
Can u tell me how to manually put fsc script...
Thanks.

Hi 3mozz,
What is the advantage in building your own ftf file?
What does removing the .ta files achieve?
Until now I have simply been flashing the ftf auto downloaded using XperiFirm to my device.
Thanks

removing .ta fies will skip reset steps
some models wont flash correctly with .ta files
thats all..
and for firmware making .ta files are not necessary so
i removed them
no technical reasons
BTW some of the mediatek devices i used
had issues with .ta files ,
i dont actually know why!!
for india users facing vo-lte not turning on issue.
replace this update file with the one in firmware folder
and then create FTF
hope it works give a try.
Hi, will patch work with 41.3.A.2.247?
Does any have google drive or MEGA link of latest galaxy s8 firmware?? Searched the whole xda didn't find??
Go to Updato (dot) com and search for your model number. Then, make sure you get the correct one for your bootloader and Region / Country. Sorry that I'm not allowed to post links yet..
This should help you find the right one. Just make sure your Region / Carrier is the right one.

Sir is there a way to check the md5 checksum of the firmware??? Cause i didn't find it... Thank u very much
Download the correct Odin. Look on these S8 forums for the modified Odin that works for Oreo, and make sure you read all the precautions and information on flashing. Once in Odin and when you unzip the firmware files, the AP, BL, and CSC should verify the MD5 sum when you select them.

Yes, look on XDA for the correct Odin for Oreo. Read some information on flashing and its dangers if yiu haven't yet. After this, in Odin, once you unzip the firmware and load them into the AP, BL, and CSC files, Odin should check the MD5 sum automatically.
I've just bought a TAB4 8 (TB-8504F) and it has the PRC system image on it. Before I take it back does anyone have the stock ROW image. I've tried looking for it on the lenovo.ru site but had no joy there.
Thanks
When you say lenovo.ru, do you mean that or lenovo-forums.ru? If the former then look through these - http://lenovo-forums.ru/files/category/283-lenovo-tab4-a8/
Lenovo TB8504F OTA update
I captured this url of OTA update 8504F_S001011_181016_ROW to 8504F_S001012_19011_ROW
Perhaps this will help..

this post needs a bump
Any developers taking a look on this ?
Hello,
So I recently rooted and installed a rom on my Galaxy S8 (extreme syndicate method). But I wanted to unroot and go back to stock so I downloaded a firmware from sammobile and flashed it using odin (I only added the BL, AP, and CP files during flash) and now it gets stuck on the samsung logo at boot. Can't enter recovery (can enter download mode).
So I think I'm not downloading the correct firmware for my phone from sammobile maybe? I have tried 4 different firmwares (2x android 9.0 firmwares - gives the stuck on samsung logo issue and 2x android 7.0 firmwares fail to flash correctly in Odin)
How do I know the right PDA or CSC version numbers for my phone without being able to get into it? I'm in Australia and it's a SM-G950U however not sure of the origins of the phone (could be an import, not sure).
Or any other things I could try to get it back to stock?
Thanks!
Well you need to go to about phone and look at build number. And when you flash the firmware flash csc. You rooted and dont know what build number you have? The firmware you flash has to be on the same bootloader of the current firmware you have
Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Thanks for your reply.
So I followed the instructions here to root forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/root-t4060701 flashing the G950USQU7ASK1 firmware and worked fine.. I am unsure of the stock firmware/build number for this phone though. I can't find any compatible firmware on sammobile either.

I suggest getting your Stock ROM not from xda, but from Sammobile. To find your ROM on Sammobile, you need your phone model. You can find your phone model in Settings -> About phone. It's called "Model number". Then, use that to find your ROM on Sammobile.
The reason why your flash didn't work, is because you may have left out "CSC".
---------- Post added at 06:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:49 PM ----------
It's me again. So this is the page for your exact model: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s8/firmware/#SM-G950U
But it only seems to have ROMs for USA.
However this other version of the S8 does: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s8/firmware/SM-G950F/XSA/
I suggest using the latter link. It's for a S8 from a different market, but it'll work regardless.

The latter link you posted isnt even for his model. If your gonna post info. It needs to be the correct info.
---------- Post added at 12:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:52 PM ----------
If you used extreme syndicate method you are on or near the latest firmware. Despite being 7.0 you are still on the latest. So its gonna be a bit 7 firmware. 5th digit from the far right end. Will be a 1 through 7. You need any firmware with a 7.
---------- Post added at 12:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:53 PM ----------
If your on windows. Google and download frija its fast and quick for latest firmware. So much better than Sam mobile or any site.

Dude, I know. I mentioned it in the reply.
That ROM will work on their device anyway, and it has the latest security update.
