guide how to root your s3 mini

this is a guide that helps you to root you gt-i8190 (only)
before we start make sure you have the s3 mini drivers on your pc if you dont have the drivers use this http ://g o o .gl /rZY cG (23 mb)
after this you will need odin h ttp :// goo .gl/T40ow (0.5 mb)
now download the rooted stock rom (android 4.1.1)(450 mb)http ://goo.gl/c 9Tmu
after that open odin in your computer (best option is run as administateur) unzip the rom file you will find a .tar file place it as pda in odin
be sure that only auto reboot and f.reset time and be very sure that you dont check re-partition
now reboot to download mode(power+home+volume down) and conect your phone to the pc
in odin you will see a comxx(xx can be any number)
press start and wait until finish then your phone will reboot
note: you may have a random reboots after rooting your phone to fix the problem go to recovery mode and select wipe data/factory reset
if you cant acces to recovery reboot to download mode and flash this as pda http :// goo.gl/8 s f 9 M (im recently subscribed to xda so icant post links yet:crying
congratulation your phone is now rooted and you can install costum recovery's roms...ect

[Q] NEED HELP! My S4 doesn't like ROMs above 4.2.2. WHY ???

Hi,
It looks like my phone doesn't like ROMs above 4.2.2. All the ROMs i flashed, have a signal problem and occasionally, the WiFi doesn't work.
I've tried to change the modem but whatever version i try... i cannot change it. My baseband (XXUBMG7) is the same.
Now i have flashed via ODIN (as a last resort cause i didn't know what else to flash or try) and lost root and all, the official version available for my country (Romania) hoping for a resolution but... no chance :crying:.
As you can see in the picture... when i turn the screen on, i have no signal. Tho i can receive calls when my screen is off.
After a while my signal appears and i can make phone calls.
I can's stay like this... please help! Any suggestions ?

- Install Custom recovery (CWM or Philz Touch or TWRP) with Odin

- Open Odin
- Shutdown ur phone and go to Download Mode
- Untick Autoreboot
- Flash modem -> HERE via Odin (button PDA/CP)
- Take the battery off and put it in again
- Reboot into Download Mode using (Vol Down plus Home button combi) again
- Flash Modem once more
- Once done, unplug then reboot device manually (Take the battery off and put it in again)
- It will change ur BASEBAND

I tried to flash alot of modems but none of them work (
Sometimes it sais it is installed, sometimes it asks for the PIT file.
I am stuck on baseband XXUBMG7 (

Okey listen mate , Download and extract this file http://www.mediafire.com/downloady/kyx5khowhd7yzel/I9505XXUEMKF_MODEM.zip When your done "Turn Of your Phone manually" Remove your battery for 10 sec and put it back ! Press and hold Power+Volume Down In order to reach Download mode , Open odin select Phone/CP (Find the file you extract) put both cable and (check odin if it says com4 with blue color on it) press start and let it do its job , once done your phone will reboot and remove the cables.Now go to your phone setting > More> Device info> and check the baseband if it change. Have a nice day.

when you are flashing a modem, flash twice the same modem and then reboot manually

Downgrading 4.4.2 Easy & Fast

Hello!
Here you can found a little guide to downgrade your i9000 from 4.4.2 to 4.x.
Tested by me with my device and Slimkat rom.
Software needed:
Odin v1.85 https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfvhbcdev7j0qvd/Odin3 v1.85.exe
Devil kernel: https://www.dropbox.com/s/98jjghepz6gqlh2/Devil3_1.9.5_Jelly_Helly_i9000_CFS_BLN_CMC_20121122.tar
1) start Odin
2) be sure autoreboot and reset time are checked
3) put your device in download mode
4) connect the phone to your pc
5) in Odin choose devil kernel as "PDA"
6) push start button in Odin
7) at the end, the device will autoreboot.
Disconnect it to the pc. The device will load the latest rom that you had.
Reeboting in recovery you will be able to flash any rom.
Hope it will be usefull for someone.

Can not install any other modem

I want to install any other modem but my note 3 does not let me do anything
I use Tweaked S5 Base Note 4 Style rom Android 4.4.2 Version 7.0
Modem is: XXUENB1
Build: KOT49H.G900SKSU1ANI1
I disabled already the reactivation protection, USB DEBUGGING is also enabled.
I use the original USB cable from note 3. KIES is not installed on my pc and I used ODIN as admin.
I got another modem, put my phone into download mode connected of course, and used another modem and put it into (CP/PHONE) in Odin3.10
It says, the flash is successfull but after reboot, the MODEM is NOT changed :"(
I tried several other modems but I can not seem to install any modem! HELP!
I tried to install stock rom via ODIN but it failed as the modem installation...
PS: Safestrap is on my device, my device is of course rooted and I also use PHILZ TOUCH 6

Did you follow this steps?:
1. Download the modem.
2. Unpack the rar file to anywhere on your computer, as long as you can access it.
3. Open up the included Odin and uncheck auto reboot.
4. Click on phone/CP, select the modem.bin, and press start.
5. When you finish the flash, manually reboot your phone back to download mode and flash the modem.bin one more time.
6. When the flash is complete, reboot and you're finished!

It's because you did not power off your phone, or remove the battery before doing the button combo for download mode, let it stay off for 15 seconds then try again.
Should work fine.

Okay, I will try to do the dual Flash and tell you if it works!

NEED HELP, PHONE BROKE DOWN smj500fn

i tried to root my J5 and it broke down into a state that has the following aspects:
first screen loaded
set warrenty bit: recovery on the left top
followed by black screen
cant get into recovery so download and flash new rom doesnt work.
Anybody got some advise???????

Download stock Rom from Sammobile.com and flash it via Odin. Try it if you need more help let me know.

Does this also work when it broke down by "installing" xposed framework?
i also got the problem that no matter how i try to boot in recovery mode it freezes on the samsung logo (with model number below), then fades to some strange static green, so deinstalling the framework might be kinda problematic

What is your actually version android ( 5.1.1 lollipop or 6.0.1 Mashsmallows ) ?
so if Android Mashmallows 6.0.1 , download the files firmwares mashmallows 6.0.1 .
Next you need to use odin in computer to put the file .tar.md5 in Odin and plug you devise with USB cable , and press power + home + volume - in mode download.
And in Odin you start to flash.
