Rebooting Phone Goes to Bootloader - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recovered from bricking my phone, but a new problem popped up: when I reboot my phone, it boots into the Bootloader screen. I have to manually start.
How do I make the phone boot normally?
Details:
Rooted
Went to stock, re-rooted phone, reinstalled TWRP
Nandroid restored to last good save.
Running rooted Stock February 2016 update.

Anyone? It really is annoying: it always reboots to the screen with the green bot has it's gut panel open. I am not telling it to reboot into the bootloader screen.

Try this- with the phone in bootloader connect to PC and try commands:
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
fastboot reboot

Stuck on "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" Screen after OTA

I bought my first phone from Swappa a couple days ago, and figured I would go ahead and by a rooted/unlocked RAZR M and start messing with ROMS.
When I booted the phone, and got connected to my WiFi network it said I had an OTA, so I went ahead and installed it, (now I know that one should avoid OTAs on rooted phones), but now its stuck on the Warning Bootloader Unlocked screen. I do a hard reset (power + volume up/down), it boots, its done, I unlock the screen, it shuts down, repeat. I can't get it unstuck.
This is my first experience with any sort of unlocked or rooted phone, so I have no idea what I'm doing.
Please help
http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/16812-droid-razr-m-utility-120-windowsmaclinux/ as long as your BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED run this
Which option am I supposed to choose (1-6)? I can't boot into it normally, its stuck on the Warning Bootloader Unlocked screen.

You need to be in fastboot, before connecting the phone to the computer and starting the utility. Brandon gave you the key combo to do it.
I got it fixed, and it upgraded to 4.1.2, then went to install Eclipse ROM, the install failed so I hit ++++ back+++++ and then rebooted from the recovery menu, and now it's stuck in the Warning Bootloader Unlocked screen again. Hard reset doesn't work, it reboots back into the Warning screen, and the utility that was posted earlier isn't connecting to recover the device.
What now?

Boot back into fastboot and use the utility again. The utility won't work unless you're in fastboot, and for heaven's sake, make a backup of your stock ROM, before flashing anything new. If you had a saved ROM, this would be easy. After Eclipse failed to install (it has been well documented that a straight install of Eclipse through TWRP or CWM usually won't install), you could have easily gone to the main menu in recovery and clicked "restore" and restored with zero issues.

always make a backup man, safe yourself some time.
I can get it to boot into Fastboot no problem, but when I go to run the script its not recognizing that the phone is connected. The phone says "Connect USB
Data Cable" even when its connected. I'm not sure which side is failing to see the connection, the phone or computer.

problem solved.
If you would enter in recovery with latest firefly 3194, push volume down and shutdown buttons.
At the begin it seems phone stucks on boot logo oppo find but wait some minutes without press buttons and it automatically enters in cwm recovery.
Then at reboot, it stucks on that chinese words, to overcame them, I pressed shutdown button with volume down for some seconds, or only shutdown button and then starts.

I've tried every possible way to enter in recovery, and what i've just to do was only to wait more or less 100 sec. However it's strange why phone doesn't enter in recovery via fastboot. When i put commands on cmd, it continues stuck on fastboot mod despite cmd says "rebooting"
I guess i need to hold from flashing firefly

Yeah, got in same situation after firefly OTA update(prev. chinese version), though I got a brick LOL
This was introduced by the 2013.05.09 update(OTA or full ROM) and the trick is indeed to wait a bit more on that screen message, maybe a fellow from China help us understand what it says in that message.
The message u got is put by Oppo to overwrite the custom recovery image with the stock one.

[Q] Stock Phone after random crash in bootloop

Hi Guys,
i hope you can help me. My lovely Nexus 4 is stucked in a bootloop (green, red, yellow and blue dots are flying in circles).
I was using my phone and then some google tasks crashed and then the phone completly restarted.
It is completly on the stock rom with the newst updates.
I already tried to wipe all cashes and did a factory reset. Unfortunately it is still stucked at the loadings Screen.
Does anyone has an idea how to bring it back to life?
Regards Mrdeli

Hey, thank you for your help.
I installed the adb, the drivers and downloaded the factory image.
Then i booted into the bootloader to get fastboot mode. After that i used the "fastboot oem unlock" command to unlock the bootloader and "LOCK STATE - locked" changed to "LOCK STATE - unlocked".
But when i am trying to flash the factory image with "flash-all" my nexus 4 restarts and tries to install the image, but the LOCK STATE changes back to "locked" and so the flash fails.
:/
Even if just restart the phone after unlocking the Bootloader, it is locked again when i enter the bootloader again.
So what can i do? My warranty is until the end of May.

That's not good. If you unlock the phone and then reboot it and it remains locked it usually means the emmc has gone bad. The good news is you're still under warranty. I think you'll have to warranty it.

Thank you for your fast answer. I had been concerned that. I had some weird usses the last weeks with my phone:
it randomly restarts
when i had a call, noone was able to hear the other, so i had to restart
sometimes it did some weird sounds, like a cracking
I will send it to LG and let them try to repair it i guess.
Thank you for your support.

need help with rooting my at&t lg v20

ok so i just bought my v20 yesterday and i tried to root it, i did the adb and fastboot method and it seems like everything went fine but when the phone booted back up it shows the lg logo then it goes to the at&t logo and its stuck there, what should i do? did i brick my phone or what? or does it just take a long time for the twrp recovery to boot?

Does ADB detect the device
Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk
First boot usually takes about 20 minutes on Sprint variant, not sure if it's the same for AT&T.
At&t requires an extra step from the opp I got stuck there too but if ADB detects the device you can flash a working boot .img in twrp by typing adb reboot recovery which is easier than fastboot. Here is the step just in case
me2151 said:
It has come to my attention that some users have encountered abnormally long first boot time(over 20 minutes before first time setup)
To resolve this issue:
Boot into bootloader by pulling the battery and reinserting it and holding VOL- and phugging in the phone. then typing:
Code:
fastboot flash boot bootbackup.img
fastboot reboot

Bricked Essential Phone

Hopefully someone can help me out here. I have been trying to root my phone, and everything goes fine but for some odd reason as soon as I relock the bootloader the phone wont boot anymore, I just get stuck at the boot screen indefinitely and have to revert to stock. I went through this process several times with the same issue, and unfortunately I got frustrated and started messing around. Not thinking I went into developer options and uncheck "allow OEM unlock," and forgot about it and rebooted. Now I can't get the phone to boot, but I can't flash unlock either. It will not boot into TWRP for some unknown reason as well, so at this point I don't see how I am going to fix this.
Even better, I just got the phone today...

Do not try to lock the BL if you are not completely stock.
If you have TWRP or anything like Magisk installed do not lock the BL.
If something goes wrong, you have a brick.
only lock the BL if you are completely stock.

Man, I could have sworn it was not recommended to leave the bootloader unlocked. Not exactly the answer I wanted to hear unfortunately. Any idea why it won't boot just because I relocked the bootloader? It just seems like an odd thing to cause a boot loop, and it did it 3 separate times

If your PC can recognize adb fastboot then just get the stock zip file from "back to stock" section here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3701681
I messed up too and back to stock was my only way.
Make sure under bootloader, if you type fastboot devices and is waiting for device, use
fastboot devices -i 0x2e17
If the PC recognize your device then, you can save from your bootloop

try reinstalling TWRP and flash LOS again, I think once you flash a different software the OEM UNLOCKING switch are not highlighted anymore(what I mean is you can't turn it off), if you can do fastboot, try doing fastboot -w and wait till it reboots.

Check any forum of a phone with an unlockable bootloader. You never ever relock the bootloader unless you are 100% completely stock. Once relocked with modified software there is nothing you can do to get it to boot.
Your only hope might be a deep flash cable and qpst if you can figure out how to use it.

Yeah it just continues to boot as normal, and then of course goes into the boot loop.
I cannot reflash twrp or any other room. Attempting to flash anything fails with the error cannot flash while locked. Same with using -w
Did you try the fastboot unlock command?
