Yesterday, i flashed new firefly rom and my phone doesn't enter in recovery.
I try to reboot into recovery with fastboot, trying to flash another recovery but it stucks on logo fastboot
When i try to enter in recovery, i find words in photo.

problem solved.
If you would enter in recovery with latest firefly 3194, push volume down and shutdown buttons.
At the begin it seems phone stucks on boot logo oppo find but wait some minutes without press buttons and it automatically enters in cwm recovery.
Then at reboot, it stucks on that chinese words, to overcame them, I pressed shutdown button with volume down for some seconds, or only shutdown button and then starts.

I've tried every possible way to enter in recovery, and what i've just to do was only to wait more or less 100 sec. However it's strange why phone doesn't enter in recovery via fastboot. When i put commands on cmd, it continues stuck on fastboot mod despite cmd says "rebooting"
I guess i need to hold from flashing firefly

Yeah, got in same situation after firefly OTA update(prev. chinese version), though I got a brick LOL
This was introduced by the 2013.05.09 update(OTA or full ROM) and the trick is indeed to wait a bit more on that screen message, maybe a fellow from China help us understand what it says in that message.
The message u got is put by Oppo to overwrite the custom recovery image with the stock one.

Recently i bought a GT-i9000. When I tried to boot the phone, it got stuck in a boot loop. The phone had CyanogenMod installed. I figured I'd try to use an Odin reset with this stock firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1290577
The phone enters download mode fine, the file flashes in odin successfully. But upon restarting, the phone brings up the Galaxy S screen and stays there.
Nothing happens, I've left it for over 15 minutes.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks, im pretty new to the Galaxy S.
Had a Hero, Desire HD and an Atrix, but this is confusing me...

ammm, I normally do VolUp, Home, and then Power, I really don't know if the order is important.
If you can't get into recovery, you should be able to go into download mode with VolDown, Home, Power.
Probably you installed a rom without the required bootloaders, this can happen when upgrading from foryo to gingerbread using a custom rom without bootloaders.
Go to Samfirmware and download JVP rom, make sure the PDA file has "_sbl" on the filename, this should mean it includes the gingerbread bootloaders.
Best of lucks!

Hi guys. My nexus 4 is rooted. Everything was perfect. I just wanted to do a fresh start. I did factory reset. Then it rebooted. Came to language selection. I selected English and than suddenly screen was black and nothing happened. I restarted again and it stuck on nexus logo. I did downloaded root toolkit 1.63 and it found my model and its selected 4.2.2 automatically. Then it downloaded stock image file and said my device adb error saying need to select USB debugging mode. I can't cause its stuck. Now about the rom it was liquidsmooth rom. Please help me how to go back to stock android 4.2.2. Thanks.

sorry, but for the stock img flash isn't needed just the bootloader mod? The deb mod is useless for this!
Throw it in the trash.
dont use a toolkit, they can create more issues than they are worth. boot into the bootloader, then flash the stock image via fastboot. thats all.
Thanks a lot. I sold it. My bad. Dn wanna use custom rom again.

Will the phone boot normally so you can get to play store or it just won't boot at all? Are you using volume down and power, just making sure? Sometimes it can be finnicky like that.

OK, try downloading quick boot from play store and TWRP from play store. Quick Boot will give you an option to reboot directly to recovery, try that first. Then, if that doesn't work, you can try running TWRP app and that allows you to flash a new recovery using the TWRP interface whole your phone is running. You may want to go to the TWRP website and download the most current version for your model first.
Edit: just use the TWRP app to install or reinstall the actual recovery you downloaded from the TWRP site linked below.

The black screen with white lettering in the top left corner is the bootloader.
If you have adb you can download a new twrp recovery image and do a "fastboot flash recovery path_to_recovery\recovery_name.img" and then try rebooting into recovery. It should work fine.

That being said, you need to push a working recovery onto the device. If you can get into android, then you can access ADB from there and push the working recovery. You should be able to find the latest version of vzwG2 twrp in the g2 general section.
If you can't get into android, then you're ****ed as far as I'm aware. However, if this is the case then you can send it into LG and they will fix it right up for you

You can't access ADB unless youre in android or a recovery, and you are in neither. You would usually be able to access fastboot (similar to ADB) which is another safety feature so you dont get bricked, but from what i've tried in this state i haven't been able to get into either.
You can try to play around with the android partitions in QHUSB_BULK and potentially fix it if you restore a recovery or something along those lines. But like I had said, I had no success with that.
Your best bet is to send it format the device and send it into LG so they can reflash everything.
Same issue, fixed it today
I had the same issues with a non-loading boot loader & a non-booting ROM. Follow the instructions in the thread linked below to restore stock firmware, and then root, TWRP, and install a custom ROM afterwards. The link to the LG Flash Tools was not one that worked for me, but a quick google search will get you the right file (top 3 results proved fruitful for me).

My Nexus 10 has been acting up recently...the battery seemed to be draining A LOT quicker then it normally would.....the tablet would just shutdown in the middle of doing something. Fast forward a week or two, now when I turn it on it vibrates for a second, shows the "GOOGLE" logo and starts the boot animation for 4.4, vibrates and repeats the same. I manually formatted and flashed 4.4 (fastboot flash boot ...etc...) and still am getting the same issues...Any suggestions on what to try next?
Flash the newest factory image automatically via fastboot.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Free mobile app
Just did that to no avail....same issue as before...Anything else to try?
It almost seems like it is not charging but I would assume I could still get it to boot up while connected to the charger....correct?
Update....I flashed CWM and sideloaded gapps and a ROM...and tried that...still the result..."GOOGLE" logo comes up and then a vibration...then it goes back to "charging" (the white battery with the lightning bolt through it)

Sounds like it may be a hardware issue, since flashing the factory image didn't even help. I would say trying flashing the factory image using the flash-all method, and wiping data/factory reset right after. Couldn't hurt.

You said you installed cwm -- I assume you mean the recovery rom... If I'm wrong ignore the rest.
I too have had this issue and it was not hardware. To fix this I booted into cwm (the recovery rom I use on my N10) and reinstalled a stock factory boot rom. Just for those that don't know to boot into the recovery rom, power off the tablet, then press and hold the power, volume up AND volume down simultaneously --- finally, use the volume button to scroll to the recovery menu.

The problem is that my tablet will reboot constantly and it shows my battery being fully drained even after charging it overnight. I'm able to force flash stock images to my tablet and this has not fixed the issue. So at the moment my nexus 10 is an expensive paperweight.

Does ADB detect the device
Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk
First boot usually takes about 20 minutes on Sprint variant, not sure if it's the same for AT&T.
At&t requires an extra step from the opp I got stuck there too but if ADB detects the device you can flash a working boot .img in twrp by typing adb reboot recovery which is easier than fastboot. Here is the step just in case

It has come to my attention that some users have encountered abnormally long first boot time(over 20 minutes before first time setup)

Boot into bootloader by pulling the battery and reinserting it and holding VOL- and phugging in the phone. then typing:
Code:
fastboot flash boot bootbackup.img
fastboot reboot
