Hi all. I am struggling to find a stock 'samsung' kernel for base XXUHOD7. Im using GoldenEye v53 (HOD7) and would much rather prefer the stock kernel. Can't find it, anyone able to help?

So, here's what I'm trying to do:
"flash CM 10.1 5/30, Flash Gapps, Flash KT AOSP kernel. (MAKE SURE IT'S THE AOSP ONE)"
I have flashed CM 10.1, flashed Gapps and everything seems to be working on my S4 (at&t).. well, except for the bluetooth, of course.
What I'm trying to figure out is why do I need to flash KT AOSP kernel and where can I get it?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Just trying to figure out where I can get the kernel to be used with CM10.1 which I'm already running.
currently i am using franco kernel with stock rom and i want to flash back to stock rom and kernel. However, i cannot find the flashable 4.4.2 stock kernel! Can somebody can give me the link so i can flash it back to stock kernel
Beside franco kernel, any other kernel will support touch control in 4.4.2 with stock rom ?
Thats why if i want to flash other kernel, i have to go back stock kernel first, anyone can give me the link
Thank you so much !
Hello all,
This has been driving me mad for the last couple of days. I have a T-Mobile Galaxy S4 Model SGH-M919 and I have flashed Jamal's awesome GPE ROM which everybody loves. My question is what ktoonsez kernel do I use?
KT-SGS4-KK4.4-AOSP-TMO-04.28.2014
or do I use
KT-SGS4-KK4.4-TWGE-TMO-04.19.2014
The ROM is AOSP so do I use the T-Mobile KK 4.4 AOSP kernel, or since the ROM is Google Edition do I use the T-Mobile KK TouchWiz Google Edition Kernel? I am so confused.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks !!
Use the twge. I recommend you to use Danvh ROM IMO its faster and has a better battery life
I feel like I should know the answer to this by now, but I'm not having a lot of luck figuring it out on my own.
I'm running XtreStoLite 1.3.7 with the deodexed mods on a Canadian W8 device. The ROM comes with a modified 900F kernel (which is what I am using). Unfortunately, neither IR nor Wifi Direct are working, notwithstanding the suggestions of the very capable @edgarf28.
My thought is to go back to the true stock W8 kernel. Question 1: Am I able to use the stock W8 kernel on a ROM built from 900F sources? Question 2: How do I extract the kernel package from the flashable zip on the stickey?
Thanks!

Hi, I saw that in Goldeneye ROM @ Touchwiz lollipop 5.0.1 It has the stock kernel in aroma installer @ i9505.
Can I download from somewhere that stock kernel to flash it to another 5.0.1 Touchwiz ROM like Imperium, for example?
I searched it on google, but I found only kitkat stock kernels only.
Why not just extract the stock kernel from Goldeneye and make a flashable zip for installation onto another device?
