So, here's what I'm trying to do:
"flash CM 10.1 5/30, Flash Gapps, Flash KT AOSP kernel. (MAKE SURE IT'S THE AOSP ONE)"
I have flashed CM 10.1, flashed Gapps and everything seems to be working on my S4 (at&t).. well, except for the bluetooth, of course.
What I'm trying to figure out is why do I need to flash KT AOSP kernel and where can I get it?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Just trying to figure out where I can get the kernel to be used with CM10.1 which I'm already running.

Hi!
I would like NEO17 kernel. Unfortunatly My phone has bootloop if i install the NEO17 kernel either CWM or ODIN. What can i do?
How to make NEO 17 kernel to Cm7 ROM?
I have I9000 CM7
kernel -- 2.6.35.12-g52fdd0a [email protected] #1
android 2.3.5.
I'm not entirely sure. I tried Zach's kernels as well, and they all ended in a bootloop.
I think you may have the most success in asking in his thread, though.
Is safe to flash back the stock boot.img after flashing the latest Cyanogenmod?
P.S
I want to install Bricked kernel on the stock kernel, to make sure all of it works fine.
I have installed the rom from this link and works great.
[ROM][JB4.2.2] Galaxy S4 Google Edition v5 [14/07][I9505GUEUAMFD]

But the phone does feel a little slower then before (this is my first custom rom & first time on android from iphone!)
I have seen people mention 'Faux v7 kernal'? Installing that to make the i9505 faster with this rom... Where can I get this kernal and do I just flash it on the same as I installed the rom?
Thankou

Here's Faux's thread

Read up a little on it before you flash but the procedure is:
Flash in recovery, wipe cache/dalvik and reboot
For Google edition roms use the Touchwiz version

Hello,
I've just used the CF Auto kit for root on a GT-I9505 running Android 4.2.2.
I'm about to use Philz Touch 5.11.2-I9505 CWM for the backup and want to install LiquidSmooth (Liquid-JB-v2.9-OFFICIAL-jfltexx.zip).
My question is, what version of the ChronicKernel do I need?
According to the CK thread:
AOSP-JB4.3 = CM-10.2 etc, AOSP-JB4.2 = CM-10.1 etc, TW-JB4.2 = Android 4.2 TW based ROMs, TW-JB4.3: Android 4.3/Google Edition based ROMs
I'm confused what the equivalent kernel to LiquidSmooth 2.9 is. This is my first install.
On a S4 Galaxy Build No. JDQ39.I9505XXUAMDE
Installed Philz CWM & performed a backup no worries.
LiquidSmooth went on without problems. I still want to put something like ChronicKernel on but which variant?

Great choice! LS 2.9 is based on Android 4.3 and its built on AOSP, so you would want to be looking at chronic kernel that is on 4.3 and aosp based
Hello
I wanted to flash CM 11 on my KLTE S5 (SM-G900F), I was on stock 4.4.2. having custom recovery philz_touch_6.57.8-klte.tar.
I flashed AVALON-KLTE_AOSPPPP Kernel in order to flash the CM 11 but it gave me status 7 error.
I flashed another AOSP kernel KT-SGS5-KK4.4-AOSP-G900-10.15.2014, again this gave me Status 7 error.
I am aware of CM Team's tutorial here using Heimdall Suite. but I am looking for an easier method for flashing CM11.
I would appreciate anyone giving me a Proper and Working Kernel for Flashing 4.4.4 CM.
