I hated this stock rom ( 4.4.4 )
I wanna change to another version of android. I tried to but I bricked the recovery can't access it now.
Phone is working good.
Ps , I istalled all the drivers on my pc, phone is only read as storage or media.
Please help it's been more than a year on kk. I feel like I'm having an iPhone.

Flash tool doesn't recognize my phone , another program recognized it means drivers are installed properly
Are you sure that it is recognised correct? In device manager it should show up as mtxx preloader or something like this. Just reinstall the drivers it won't hurt.
Have you installed twrp, even if its not accessible?
I don't think you can screw your phone so hard with the things you did that not even flashtools are working.

I'm having some problems with it- maybe I've done something wrong... I successfully got root (checked it with Root Checker), but now my phone keeps locking up and I have to reset it to wake it up. Right now I am charging it back up so I can repair it (hopefully) with PC Companion.

if I get a root would I be able to flash roms?
At least ROMs which don't need a custom kernel. Flashing a different kernel requires an unlocked bootloader.

Yes, this really works with my japanese variant of Z1 Compact (Z1f SO-02F, see attached image) :good:
No custom kernel, Stock ROM, Full root access, No /system r/o reboot issue :victory:
But it take some more step then proposed, especially the main exploit apk file

Actually yes (on the computer), since it needs to download tr.apk. You can also manually download it from towelroot.com and place it inside files directory.

I have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running CM11 and everything works fine. I wanted to try the latest C-rom so flashed it. When my phone reboots 2 errors pop up every 2 seconds. One is: android.com.ancore has stopped and the other one is: android.com.phone has stopped. They keep popping up and I can't do anything. Now I flashed back to CM11 with a backup and it works fine again. Can this be due to the fact that I have removed some stock apps earlier on with Titanium Backup? When I try to flash C-rom those 2 errors pop up and I can't see my contact list or dialer app. I really want to try that C-rom but I don't know how to fix it. If anyone would help me, that would be great.

Sounds like you made a dirty flash. You have to factory reset from within recovery when changing to a different ROM.

Hey guys, do u know if autorec is working on 5.0.2 RR Rom ? I want to install TWRP 2.7.0.0 on my D802 but i dont know if it will work or if i get a bootloop or something.. Please help me!

Youcan try it but its better to use twrp 2.8.5.0 if it will not work then you can always flash back to stock
But you already have recovery right? So I dont see the reason why to downgrade to 2.7.0.0

No u dont understand, i am on 5.0 lollipop Rom but i have no recovery installed ! I dont know why but i Cant flash any ZIP till i havent a recovery ... I guess autorec is the only solution so i hope it works ..

then re-root&autorec
and then install lollipop rom & recovery.zip

Try flashify.. Or do it with another app to flash the recoveryimage as terminal is dangerous to flash it. Btw you need root.

Yes u can use autorec on stock lollipop, i've used it on Glora Rom V1.1, i have D801 Tmobile,
F320k stock 5.0 ROM rooted
has anyone tried Autorec on rooted F320k with stock 5.0.1 ROM.
I am not sure if SDK method works as well. Any Ideas on how to get a recovery?

I'm in the same situation as you, I've got the F320L Korean version.
I've heard that bender_007 is working on it, so you have to see the last pages of this thread.
I hope he makes one for f320k. I don't mind donating to support the development. Though I doubt it will be available soon . The Korean version seems very different from the previous ones.

After an ota my p10 is dead only fastboot and erecovery, i have tried evrything but nothing, please help me.

P10 plus vky-l09c*****, rooted and bootloader unlocked, i have downloaded an ota and i have put the update.app in a dlod folder, i have press vol+, vol-, power and the update failed and my device now is bricked, i can use fastboot mode and erecovery but erecovery is useful as nothing.
1) dload work only with stock recovery and without root
2) dload is not possible with P10/plus
3) you can try to flash system image with fastboot or use funky

Finally i restored my device with funkyhuawei, but i got another trouble, i got a VKY-L09C55etc, i rebranded it whit VKY-L09C432etc and via erecovery installed VKY-L09C432etc but now my p10plus single sim in the settings is dual sim and doesn't read the sim (only emergency call), what can i do?

Sorry i have a p10 plus from china VKY-L00, i had an ota upgrade and i downloaded thios ota but after a vibration device is dead...no recovery no bootloader and pc don't recognize this...420hazee please tell me how do u resolved the issue!!

i sended an email to funkyhuawei on saturday but anyone answered me...
Look on funkyhuawei if your model is supported, if yes you have to pay for get credit and proceed. After you have to follow this instructions (https://funkyhuawei.club/static/FunkyHuaweieRecoveryInstructions.pdf)

just tried to download from apkmirror last google play services and framework but i always have crashes around all apps coming from Play Store.

My Elephone S8 arrived today and I like it very much so far. But like on all of my phones & tablets I'd like to have root access to install a firewall, deal with autostarting apps, etc.
Has anyone tried a one-click-root sollution with success? I tried out Kingo root, towel root, kingroot, oneklickroot, root genius, drfone and root master but none of them worked.

So, what does that mean? Will the OTA updates never work on a rooted device, no matter how it was rooted?
Hello skeleton1911.
I flashed your boot.img and my Elephone S8 is rooted. Thank you. But as mentioned before, the OTA update detected root and refused to update. So I flashed the boot.img from the stock ROM and bricked the phone. It will not boot up. So I have to flash the root back again to start the phone.
Is there a way to unroot the phone so that it can be updated? Thank you!
