Anyone? Phones been getting pretty warm and my battery life hasn't been great either

This can't be good. A third of the memory is taken up by the OS, running 100%of the time?

It's completely normal. With Android you don't need to worry about RAM usage being high, it frees it up as required.

Likely just a glitch. If the phone works fine just chalk it up to that.

Yeah it's happened to me a couple of times over the years after a full battery cycle it should be fine.

Kitkat 4.4 art & tasker

Recently I'm having trouble with Tasker. Please find attached screenshot for details. This happens when I'm trying to add a scene or call on to one with a task. Some of my tasks make tasker kill completely. Is this due to 4.4, art or a combination of both? Or maybe something entirely else?

No one....?

Its probably because you turned a feature on that is not ready for prime time yet.
Switched to dalvik today and had the exact same problem....
Can it be kitkat only?

I haven't run into any issues on my Nexus 5 so I don't think it is KitKat.

1. Yes I agree it isn't high
2. Because after running tests comparing the Nexus 5, M8 and GS5, the GS5 tends to kill apps a lot more often when multitasking.
Don´t worry about RAM
It´s not a Windows Free RAM = bad RAM :good:
Touchwiz.
That's why.
Just wondered so that's fine tgen

Battery Capacity

So I guess it's not 3,000
But somewhere between 2,900 and 3,000

Many phone batteries list typical & minimum capacities.
No battery is ever exactly at its mark. You can see the same thing with many other devices. I think the most recent device that someone said that the battery is not as advertised was the Moto360.
I've seen this on batteries since the Galaxy S3. they always have an advertised and minimum capacity.
How about it's the same size as the g3 but the g3 battery doesn't work

What, you expected a manufacturer to let you reuse accessories and forego the sweet, sweet "people must re-buy all the accessories" revenue? Silly mortal.

Unknown item showing up in battery usage

Can anyone help me identify this item showing up in my battery usage? It's not something I've ever seen on any of my phones, and it's just a number... I'm not rooted or anything, haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think that means it's an app you used and have recently uninstalled, thus Android doesn't know the name of it.
Ahhh that is a good guess. Thanks, I didn't think of that. I will see if it shows up again on the next battery cycle.
