Hello,
I had issues flashing magdlr using USB 3.0 ports, but when I insert the usb cable in my USB 2.0 port all is fine. Is this my computer configuration or do other people also expierience this problem?
Does anyone know if its possible to root and install custom roms on the x5 without using a usb cable? My mini usb port is physically broken so I cant use a usb cable to connect to my pc. I've got stock Gingerbread 518 installed currently.
Thanks for any help.
You can't do it without a usb cable.
can anyone help me with USB otg
i tried but it doesnt work
You need otg y cable and otg compatible kernel nonstock
please help my usb otg has stopped working suddenly. the option of mount usb storage in settings has also disappeared. Already flashed the stock rom with no luck. kindly help:crying:
try stickmount from the store (needs root), if that doesn't help your cable could be dead.
Change otg cable and try now
Tried with another cable but didn't work. Also used the same cable on s5 and it works correctly
Stickmount does not work
Please help somebody
Phone specifications:
Model: Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-900F
ROM: Omega v20 Android 6.0.1 MM
Root: Yes
Recovery: TWRP
Xposed: Yes
State: Touchscreen seems to work but the screen is black
What have been done already:
I tried to Enable USB Debugging through adb shell as stated in this post
I tried countless apps that offer backup but obviously they all need USB Debugging Enabled
*Hours and hours of research through forums and the web.
The only task is to enable USB debugging in order to access internal storage of the phone
I would appreciate any help in this thread.
Thanks in advance!
Get a y otg cable and a usb mouse and a USB to HDMI accessory and then make sure you have a spare HDMI cable and plug cable into TV and if my guess is correct you should be able to see screen on TV and control with mouse
Then set USB debugging options on
Tell me if it works or not
