Hey guys, exactly as the title says, I am trying to use a serial USB cable however in the app I am using, Slick USB 2 Serial, it cannot detect any devices.
I've tried multiple Roms, multiple kernels but I can't get it to detect my USB serial cable... Any ideas?
AW: Serial USB using otg cable on 4.2+? How can I make it work?
I tried it with Paranoid Android 3.x (first nightly) and the faux123 kernel. Slick USB 2 Serial Terminal found the adapter without problems. I didn't test talking to a serial device.
Hi there ,
My phone keeps rebooting every time I connect it to the pc
Build Nr JSS15J.I9505XXUEMK9
BaseBand I9505XXUEMK9
Android 4.3
Anyone had this And how to fix it
cheers for any help
Try reinstalling your phones USB drivers. Does your phone only crash with Android debugging turned on? Try connecting to a rear USB port (rear USB port on computer output more mAh than front USB ports). Try another cable. If it still crashes check the phones micro USB port as it could be faulty.

Also try a different cable.

If you are using a Usb 3.0 port switch to a 2.0. If you are unsure a 3.0 port is usually blue on the inside.
