Want to reverse my navigation buttons, back button on right, recent apps on left. Any help or ideas?

I just traded in my LG G4 for one of these. (Well, actually it was my 3rd LG G4, since they kept breaking under warranty, which is one of the reasons I don't have an LG G5 now).
But on that phone, even not rooted, LG's customized O/S let you do that. I didn't even think about it when I got this phone, just assumed it was an android feature.
I have to say this is almost a dealbreaker for me. And frankly I can't understand why allowing customization of these buttons isn't a native O/S feature anyway. I generally like this phone, but having the "back" button on the left makes it very difficult to use with one hand. Waiting for root seems like a fool's errand, the Droid Turbo 2 isn't rooted yet. So either I just live with it, or return the phone to Verizon and go buy an some other unlocked phone, since there's no unlocked version of this yet... argh.

A few weeks later... I've gotten used to it. My thumb is much more nimble now.

I got used to it too, but I kinda miss it... I wish I can put nav buttons on my note 7

So yeah my back button LED is on but very dim, every time I leave it under heat it comes back, but then when it gets cold it just dims up again:

I have used it for 2 days, hasn't shut off. Will update if it starts happening again but I don't know if it will turn off, seems to be solid now.

I'm not sure how it is with t-mobile, but for me, if i am under contract, the Service provider deals with sending the phone off for repairs. I would start there.
If you are lucky, they may even give you a loaner while your device is off to be repaired.

Funny, same thing happened to me but with my search button. Its never lit up anymore, been like that for a few months.
Also, I thought once you unlock the bootloader you get a big warning about voiding the warranty?

just relock it and get rid of all files containing root/flashing/etc

What he said.... I have returned devices with the super user apk still installed, they take it, I don't understand why people actually think that the guys behind the register actually know what they are doing ( no offense if you work at a carrier's store). The majority of the time they just don't know what they are talking about. Anyways, have you tried leaving it under heat? It seems to come back until it gets cold again.

This phone is so nice, the more I use it, the more I really like it. When I first got it, I was like meh, I might as well get it... (jump) I'm paying for it...
It's so fluid, screen is amazing, deep and rich. No lag, I'm keeping touch wiz, I've always used launchers, but this is fine if not great.
The build quality is fantastic, little changes make a difference.
It's fast!

Congrats on the new note. I'm trading my 3 in on Friday. Is it safe to assume you traded your note 3 back in? If so, did you flash the stock firmware before doing so. I'm just curious. Thanks
I am going to get mine on Friday. I already have M8, the build quality in my m8 is amazing. But I hate the screen of the M8.

I haven't sent the note 3 in yet, yeah, I'll probably flash stock back on it.
I sold my note 3 for 350 cash on the spot
I still have my Note 3, and when I go back to it. I real notice the yellowish tint on it, which I didn't notice it as much before.
Only gripe I have is that I wish th we menu and recent key were opposite.

Did you root after the ota update?
Yes, downloaded the firmware from sammobile, odin, boot, then chainfire odin, all my settings stayed.

Well i need a new phone my N5 has cracked along the sim tray and volume and power buttons causing my power button to fall out unless its in a case.
And as the Moto X 2014 doe snot support QI i have no option of another QI enabled handset that's not another N5 and im not touching anything with the name Samsung on it either.
Unfortunatly the N6 is the only handset that fits the bill for my needs apart from the huge screen, and as much as i hate it because its too big i need a phone that works with my existing QI chargers

Well a vertical green line showed up on my dt2 today. Done everything to try and fix it. Did a factory reset and no help. Phone has been babied and not dropped. Took it to Verizon store today and they are sending me a new one and for me to send this one back. Other than this its been a good phone. Battery life has been awesome. But some have been reporting bad battery life. Hope my next one has a good battery.

Did you get yours from Motorola or Verizon? I was thinking of swapping my Turbo 2 due to a screen uniformity called banding, but I got mine via motomaker so I will have to get a different one from Motorola.
Got mine from Verizon.
I've seen where several people have this happen. So I'm concerned this will happen again. Wondering since the screen is all plastic, is it too soft?

I doubt that's the problem. It's probably just a production issue since it's probably in the first batch of phones. Mine hasn't displayed this yet and I got mine through Verizon using MotoMaker. I've pressed my screen fairly hard with no issues yet. I'd say don't worry about it, just unfortunate luck that it happened.
Got my replacement in today from Verizon. Not a new phone but a like new phone. So far seems pretty good. Hoping this one won't do the same thing

I got mine from Verizon.
Strange. Mine's had a vertical magenta line in the same area that comes and goes, usually right after I turn the screen back on. Sounds like I should probably get a replacement...
Just wondering for those who have received their LGV20s. Does it support Multi Users? I ask because im going to miss Knox on samsung devices. I use it to have 2 viber accounts in one phone. Personal and Work.
Yes like most any Android device you can add multiple user accounts.

Sorry I'm on a different device but have 7.0. Check the settings menu for a users menu, if not maybe they disabled it for the v20. I know I use different accounts for my kids, so that would suck if LG took that feature out.
Tmobile Lg's have never had it enabled.. Once we get root it's a simple build prop addition and we're good to go.. I have a tutorial on the G4 and V10 forum on how to add it, but need root.

I want root so much more now, lol. I'm "rooting" for the devs to find something.
This is why we still need root (to those who constantly feel the need to post in threads about root that we no longer need it with all the features built into the phones now). Google has integrated many of the features that we used to look to our devs for but each manufacturer and each carrier arbitrarily removes or changes those features and then doesn't give us any choice in the matter.
On the plus side, we do have awesome devs who are working hard to root our phones and give us our freedom back. And those devs are still finding new things to offer us that will only deepen our dependence on Android and the devs we love.
I don`t see it on my V20 ATT version, I looked everywhere.
