No LG logo, No download mode, No recovery - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I majorly messed up today, so basically the screen is black, it won't turn on, I can't put it into recovery nor download mode. If I plug it in, it tells me that many partitions need to be formatted before they can be used (what...) and if I hold the Power button for long enough, the LED starts blinking red. Any ideas what could fix this?

Hi
did no work also
I am having the same problem, went to lg service centre, they could not enter download mode as well. I might need to change the circuit board for $321 singapore dollars..
Hi
i think you have to use this fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
This happened to me,
Try holding the power and volume down hold until lg logo, let go and press and hold the volume down and power again, it should get you in recovery.
It might get you into a screen called "Factory hard reset" Agree using the power button, and it should take you to your recovery, and try flashing a ROM along with the Gapps (if you want, which I did) and then I used a recovery file after booting back into recovery to restore it to my previous state.
Good luck :good:
Shut down phone
From what I got from this, you're having problems shutting down your phone, correct? It keeps booting back up after the screen goes black? If this is the case, hold the power button (and don't let go) until it goes black, reboots itself, then goes black again. Shouldn't take more than 2 seconds after rebooting to shut down. Then, you can do volume up + USB to get into download mode.

[Q] Is there really no hope? Truly blocked?

Rooted my Lg G2, downloaded freegee, installed TWRP, turned off and wont turn on. no boot loop or anything. if I hold power+volume-down long enough it will flash a red LED but nothing else. will not connect to my computer. PLEASE tell me if there is any way to fix it.
Take out usb power. Switch off. Wait couple seconds. Press power button, and on LG screen press volume down and power at same time and keep pressed. Then it reboots into factory reset. Which is twrp. Wipe cache and dalvik and boot again.

The LG logo never appears.
ok turn off, keep pressing volume up, power cord in whilst pressing, do you get download mode? if so reflash kdz or update recovery via lg mobile suite.
if that doesnt work, try installing drivers on computer again, reboot computer, turn on phone connect, check if you can adb to it, then there might.be some how to adb recovery on it, as well as pushing a rom on it. maybe.
did you check twrp size before putting it on? also was it correct version for your phone version?

I thought flashing red LED light means that the phone is dead and needs to be recharged in order to be turned on again?

[Q] Dead LG G2 Sprint

I have lg g2 sprint version. I have unlocked it by following a tutorial on youtube. On the ui there was a message that there is software update and i tapped to install it, but it was stuck on fastboot mode started udc_start() so i followed tutorial from a forum and fastfbooted boot aboot recovery and laf, but forgot to run fastboot reboot and turned off and on the phone. Now when I try to start the phone it shows the lg logo and after that only the led is flashing no matter if it's charging or not. Any ideas what to do? I have plugged it in to power it, but I am not sure whether it's charging now.
I can enter in download mode by pressing volume up and power button, but I don't have pc near me to try to flash to stock.

The situation after a couple restarts is:
When I put to charge the lg logo appears and the led is flashing from yellow to blue
if I hold down and power button it says "Recovery mode. Loading..." and nothing happens
If I hold up and power button it enters download mode
Can I charge the phone in order to flash it to stock?
p.s. I am turning it off by holding the power button for ~20 sec

Can't access recovery, stuck in Bootloop (SOLVED)

LS980 ZVD
I installed the SplitWindow maker mod from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/mod-splitwindow-mod-maker-g2-stock-roms-t2818522) and and got hit with a bootloop. I tried to reboot to recovery but can't seem to get in. While plugged in the phone refuses to shut off, but when unplugged, I can get it to shut all the way down. From there, I press VolDwn+Power, wait for the LG logo, release, press VolDwn+Power again and hold. It vibrates twice after a few moments but then doesn't do anything. While holding the buttons it will actually continue the bootloop sequence until around 15-20 secs when the screen just cuts off (I assume this is completely shutting down). I can get into download mode right away but can't get into recovery. I've got the stuff for tot to stock set up and ready to go, but I'd hate to lose all of my pictures and backups and everything.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?
While in download mode does Windows recognize the phone? As long as internal storage is mounted in Windows, you can transfer the files to your PC before factory restoring w/ the *.tot file.

Don't know why, but I got it to drop into Recovery mode.
I held down just the power button for a long time (about 20-25 secs) through the entire power-on to shut down cycle. Even after it cut off, I still held down the power button until it started to reboot again. Once the LG logo displayed, then I held down VolDwn+Power until the screen went blank and the lg logo displayed again. At this point I released and pressed/held VolDwn+Power again and it finally brought me into Recovery.
I read on a reddit or google answer somewhere that you were supposed to hold the power until the lg logo quickly displays (less than a second), then switch to the VolDwn+Power method which didn't actually happen for me here, but inspired me to hold the power down longer than normal.

Black screen, but the phone vibrates and look like its starts

Hi suddenly my Note 3 (Omega) screen turned black, it vibrates when turning on. Evene if I try go to recovery or download mode it wibrates but screen is still black. When trying to turn on the blueled llights turns on
Even if I take out the pen it vibrates, no sound at all.
Will reflashing Baseband and bootloader help, or anyone else have a solution?
With the phone in download mode, is it recognized in Odin? If it is, you could try to flash a stock ROM.
Still not working. But vibrates when power is pressed
I tryin "blind" to go into download mode. power+vol down+middle button.
It vibrates, i oush power up to continue.. Not recogniced by Odin.
Tryed to change screen, still the same.
But have to hold power button longer then normal
Any Ideas what I can do ?
