Has anyone with root tried or had success with accessing Service Mode?
Perhaps the method that worked on the VZW S6 would work for the S7.

I have had one heluva time trying to unlock my Rogers Galaxy s4. I purchased an unlock code, which did not work. I tried through service mode. Then I tried flashing the rom to a factory rom, which has now disabled my cellphone reception. At this point I am trying to put the stock rom back just get my phone working. Is there anything else I can do?
FastGSM.com has been the "last resort / saviour" for many here when service menu didnt unlock nor purchased-code.

I'm having some trouble trying to unlock my samsung s4 (gt-i9505) and was wondering if anyone knew how to help.
I've tried using the FastGSM samsung client several times but that hasn't worked and then I tried unlocking via IMEI using a network unlock code but it still keeps saying unsuccessful. I've tried restoring the phone and still nothing
I've heard it could have something to do with the NVRAM but for some reason I can't access the main menu of the service mode to try and change anything.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what else I could try? I would appreciate it.

I have a galaxy S5 on AT&T that I'm trying to use a straight talk sim in. (Att towers) whenever a sim is inserted into the phone I get "Sim not allowed mm#3". I used a reputable service (cell unlocker) to unlock the device. The IMEI comes up clean as well. I've also changed the APN settings, but it won't connect. I'm trying to port from a galaxy s3.
I would also like to quickly add that the t mobile straight talk sim works just fine, but using that is not an option as the service is atrocious.
Another thing, the ATT sim works in a galaxy S4 with no issues. They are both sims for straight talk. Any help is really appreciated, this is baffling me.
Just went into the service menu with *#0011# and in the debug menu i can't actually see a MM reject cause. CARD_ERROR: Unknown and PERSO_FEATURE: UNSUPPORTED are the only relevent info i see here. The phone has been unlocked, is there a way to flash the service menu with ODIN and reset it all to stock? I know this won't lose the unlock, so in the off chance that I did accidentally click on something in there before will the tar.md5 file fix this? I read a post where user sanquante said he had to flash the PDA.MD5 file and it fixed it...I'm assuming he meant the tar.md5? Thanks for ANYONE willing to help. I really could use it.

I have the same problem. Kingroot succeeded rooting it, but now how can I kick off Tracfone and use my ETECSA sim card?
So i unlocked my US bought s7 edge (AT&T) , they gave me a network unlock code which after entering shows that the device is unlocked but when i insert other providers sim it is not able to search for network and shows no service, is there any way to fix this ? will installing a custom rom fix this issue ? Will US set support Indian ROM?

I would also like to know how to fix this issue. Unlocked a sprint S7 and when i put in my metropcs sim, it just says searching, and when i try to do a manual search it fails. "Error while searching for networks"
