Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus or Nexus 6p - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay folks while it is a nexus forum I'll like ur frank opinion on this one.
I'm using oneplus 2 now. I've 2 options brand new galaxy s6 edge plus for USD 350 or Nexus 6p for USD 400.
I'm a normal user don't want root or rom access etc. But a great all round daily phone.
Inclined towards the s6 edge plus given the steep discount, outstanding screen and camera also it records slomo videos with audio. Plus that curve is a head Turner. What say folks give ur frank opinion without any biases. Thanks a ton

The 6P will do slow motion at 240fps with audio as well. I'm like you in that, while I am interested in phones to a deeper level than most, I don't really want to root or anything like that. I have a Galaxy Note 5 and I'm going with the 6P because, based on my testing, it has vastly superior battery life. That and I am sick and tired of daily nagging via notifications from Samsung apps I can't delete or even disable (Samsung Pay).
I bought a 32 Gig 6P from Best Buy two weeks ago and tested it thoroughly (everyone's usage is different so you can't really rely on user feedback). I absolutely loved the build quality. Camera was as good but noticeably slower though and it would have been nice it it had OIS and phase-detection auto-focus.
The real star here was it's battery endurance. For my usage, it was astonishing how much better it was compared to my Note 5. I could easily get 4 hours of SoT over a 16 hour period and plug it back in with 35%-40% left. I'd get through my work day with two and a half hours SoT and 75%-80% remaining. My Note is sitting here, as I write this 8 hours and 20 minutes since being unplugged, at 56% with only 1 hour SoT. When I got MM by Note actually got a little worse believe it or not.
I returned that test unit I bought and just ordered a 64 Gig version directly from Google. Best Buy has some varieties of the 64 gig model on sale for $415 but I opted to buy from them for the protection plan. Anyone want to buy a spotless Note 5?

iPhone 6 Plus vs Nexus 6 vs Galaxy Note 4

Came across this comparison, Nexus 6 is superior in every way except the camera.
Nexus 6 was found to have superior:
Display (qHD)
Battery (3220mAh)
RAM (3GB)
OS (Stock Lollipop, the best!)
Price,
Other features (water resistant, wireless charging, dual speakers)
I really think Nexus 6 will sell better than previous nexus devices. While the camera is still not as good as Note 4 or iPhone 6 Plus, it is still better than most of the devices out there.
Check it out.

They stated the Note 4 and Nexus 6 are a tie when it comes to the display and battery life.
Nexus 6! Game over!!
yeah im not sure about the display..in other comparisons they have stated that the note 4 panel is subtly better, with slightly crisper text and sharper image quality and i even tried to do the comparison myself and the note 4 indeed has a better display
Well I got bored waiting for my December 2 delivery so I got a note 4 to try out. I came from a note 3. It's. Nice ut frankly not that different...

How is TW? Is it really laggy and buggy or is it a bit improved?
Day 2 and I have to say that it's really not that different to the 3. The home key has real lag. I set up both devices exactly the same and ran side by side comparisons of app running time... And most times the Note 3 was faster. Weird. Will keep it for 13 days then return it and wait a week for my nexus 64gb to arrive!

^^The home key has real lag?
I don't have any lag with the home key. Have you turned off Svoice double tap to activate feature?
These 3 phone plus the note edge are my choices for January when I get my upgrade. I have the note 3 now and I don't feel like the note 4 is worthy of the upgrade. I finally got my hands on the edge at the at&t store. I was so excited to check it out. I left the store thinking it was pretty cool but I was still underwhelmed. So now I am down to the nexus 6 and iPhone 6 plus. At this point I'm really leaning towards the 6 plus (please don't hate). It's a personal preference type of thing.
I used to love the iPhone up to the 4s. Then I couldn't stand small screen size anymore. Fortunately for me they fixed that problem now.
I can't take touchwiz any longer and all the crap Samsung has added into the phones. That's sad to say because I have had the galaxy s, s2, s3, s4 and now the note 3.
I can't wait to check out a nexus 6 to make my final decision. I feel like it is going to be a tough one
Display is a tie? What a great joke. There is a thick chance the author doesn't even own a nexus 6. I wanted to like nexus 6 sooo much, it could've been my dream phone but unfortunately, the screen can only go as bright as 278 nits vs note 4 400+ nits and upto 700 nits in extreme bright light.
So far, note 4 NAND performance is faster. Eg better read and writes. Note 4 battery lasts longer. I think we all should be realistic. How can you call it superior ?

Note 4 display is better.
Battery is the same.
RAM is the same.
OS is irrelevant.
Price is also too close to call.
Front speakers and water resistance is it. Wireless charging is possible on the Note 4.
Do some research before spreading crap.

That's on manual brightness nits don't mean everything there are other factors. All the reviewers say the screen is excellent and easy to read in day light. Gsm arena review display
The note only has faster read times because it is not fully encrypted on Lollipop. Just wait until it gets it. Also the nexus 6 is smoother than the note all around through the operating system and within apps. The battery life is similar.
dont be saying around that the nexus 6 has a very display because thats not true

Really curious about how you went about "trying out the note 4". Because I am really wanting to do this exact thing with both the iPhone 6 Plus and the Note 4 to decide if I'd want to switch to iOS or continue my crapwiz adventure, or try out the N6. I am on verizon and I see they have a $35 restocking fee if you return a product within 14 days. Is their a way around this? How'd you do it? What's your carrier?
From AnandTech who does very thorough objective testing. Traditionally they're pretty rough in their Samsung reviews and fairly "pro" Nexus with value taken in to account in their findings. With pricing similar to other high-end devices the Nexus 6 and 9 can't play the value card anymore.
Battery
The first test is our WiFi web browsing test which loads a set of web pages in a loop with pauses to avoid penalizing phones with faster SoCs than others. In this test we see that the Nexus 6 does perform somewhat poorly. Compared to Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 which has essentially the same specifications on paper, the Nexus 6 lasts 4.27 hours shorter. It is likely that this can be attributed to the display, which may not be as efficient as the latest and greatest AMOLED panel used in the Note 4.
Display
Overall, the Nexus 6 display is quite poor relative to the displays on other smartphones like the Galaxy Note 4, iPhone 6, and HTC One (M7). It's also a definite regression from the display on the Nexus 5, which is concerning given the fact that the Nexus 6 is $300 more expensive. It has been speculated that Motorola is unable to source the latest generation of panels from Samsung Display, which would explain why many of the panel characteristics are similar to previous generation AMOLED panels in the Note 3 and Galaxy S4. Although the efficiency of AMOLED displays when displaying black helps to reduce power usage with features like Ambient Display which wakes up the phone when notifications arrive or it is picked up, I don't believe it's worth the trade-off if it involves such heavy sacrifices in color accuracy and brightness.
Camera
I'm very happy with the improvements Google has made to their camera on the Nexus 6. I no longer feel like Nexus devices will always be a generation behind the competition when it comes to camera quality. Google and Motorola should also congratulate themselves on their white balance algorithm which helped the Nexus 6 to take photos that better reflected how the scenes actually looked in real life. I hope Google will continue to improve their camera software to make the user interface less menu driven, and to improve capture times for photos which is the one area that the Nexus 6 really falls behind its competition.

I went from the 6 Plus to the Note 4 then back to the 6 Plus. Bought the 6 Plus at the Apple Store and the Note 4 at Best Buy. Neither have restocking fees. Even got to keep my $200 Best Buy gift card when I returned the Note. I also have the Nexus on preorder through Motorola with a December 2nd delivery date. This is the first iPhone I've had since the 4. I'm really liking it, but also excited to try the Nexus. [emoji2]

I currently have the 6 Plus. Not bad but Apple was not ready for the big screen. So many apps are big and clunky. I've had a lot of random reboots and the screen isn't all that special.

I went from Note 3 to 4 and the lag and fluidity improvements are quite noticeable. Here's why...
AndreiLux said:
Qualcomm ROMs also have major issues mostly regarding camera - I'm not up to date with it.
They have fixed any discernible delay and lag as far as I can see in the Note 4 (and Alpha). The lag in previous versions were due to the userspace DVFS hooks, and that got totally rewritten in the Alpha and Note 4.
And btw you can just turn off those services and replace the stock keyguard - there goes your lag.

So you're recommending me I go through a retailer to try out these phones, and then just return before the typical 14 day policy? Did you bring it to your carrier to use it? Or did you just use it with wifi? I feel like if you went through your carrier for the service it'd cause more problems.

I was on the Next program with the first iPhone and a 2 year contract with the Note. Both signed through AT&T. Yes, neither retailer have restocking fees. If I would have went through AT&T they would have charged me $35 for the first one and blocked me from returning the Note. I would have been stuck. Went back to the Apple Store for my current 6 Plus.

Samsung S6 Edge+ (does it have a loose button) or the Nexus 6P ? +my concerns

Hey guys!
I am kinda torn between these two devices. At first I waned the Edge+ but then after trying a few units in different shops I noticed that the home button is kinda loose. By loose I mean moving up and down (kind of like the one on the s6) instead of being stiff. Also I am pretty scared that it will be forgotten by Samsung after a while, just like my brand new s3 was forgotten back in the day (it only went from 4.0 to 4.3). Those being said..I think those two are my only concerns about the Edge+
On the other hand..is the Nexus 6P it's also a device I would like. It will always have the latest Android version (at least for about 3 years) and to me it looks okay. Not as sexy as the S6 edge+ but still looks nice. With this device I am concerned about either scratching the back of the graphite version..this exposing the raw aluminium...having the "visor" crack for no reason and I am also kinda concerned about the rigidity of the phone...last night I saw a guy on youtube bending it quite easily.
What would you recommend, guys? Nexus 6P or the Edge+
Please think what would you choose for yourself...and let me know. Also, are my concerns real? Did anyone scratch the back of the 6P or had it's visor crack by itself? Does anyone have an edge+ with a loose button? Hopefully if someone owns this device..they can shoot a really quick video showing the stiffness of the home button.
Also, even better...if someone owns both phones...which one would you pick again?
TLDR version: Nexus 6P or Edge+? Which one would you choose and why?
I am waiting for your answers guys! Hopefully I will get some fast.
Best regards,
Mihai Ilie
S6 Edge+ all over again
I've been using my S6 Edge+ since the launch day and if I have to, I'll pick this one again! I've never used a Nexus 6P, so probably my recommendation wouldn't be appropriate to depend on but the least I can do is tell you how the S6 Edge+ feels like!
1. No, I haven't noticed any loose Home button on my phone. Probably the store units were very roughly used. Also, I'm a hardware button fan (capacitive or tactile), so Edge+ gets a +1 here! It's just easy when the buttons are always there.
2. Display - The S6 Edge+/N5 Display super AMOLED display is amazing! The immersive feeling that you get while operating either of these devices is just incomparable! Deep blacks - another +1. 6P also has AMOLED as far as I've read but never tried it, so can't comment on its performance!
3. UFS2.0 vs eMMC 5.0 - If I'm currect, Nexus 6P is using eMMC storage while the the Samsung flagship is using UFS2.0 which is like 3 times faster than the former! And since it doesn't have any SD Card support, there's nothing to slow down the operations. Even the read/write from a PC on MTP is much faster than my old phones!
4. Exynos 7420 vs Snapdragon 810 - Processors are almost comparable except Exynos is clocked at 2.1 Ghz while the Snapdragon at 2 Ghz. Do not expect any such performance boost on either of them although the Exynos is 14nm fab while the other one is 20nm, so power consumption would a bit lesser in Exynos (just for the processor). If you look at the different benchmark results, you'll see Exynos 7420 above Snapdragon 810 but overall, the difference wouldn't be that significant!
5. 3 GB RAM vs 4 GB RAM - You might never need the additional 1 GB RAM with stock android on Nexus 6P but if you plan on putting another vanilla rom in your phone, an additional 1 GB would be significant in S6 Edge+. I never had any issue with the performance yet on S6 Edge+ but I believe 6P might perform better on a long run with additional upgrades and all (based on past nexus & note experience)
6. Camera : With OIS, S6E+/N5 has the best camera in the market! Sure 6P do have some nice slowmos, so it's upto your preference. I don't prefer to compare cell phone cameras, none of them are comparable to actual handheld cameras.
7. Gear VR - No, I'm not a Samsung fan but I do appreciate their efforts to excel in electronics industry. One of primary reasons behind getting a Samsung was to get my hands on Gear VR. And it was worth it! At just $99, it'll be the best toy you've ever owned! Combined with a Moga Controller, you'll be off to a parallel universe! Try it out in the stores.
8. Battery Life - With S6E+, I charge the phone at night and it survives the entire day on LTE always on and Wifi at home! I wouldn't say it has the best battery life, but I do not have any complains. Not so sure about 6P but considering it has 3450 mAh over 3000 in S6E+, I can only assume a better battery life with 6P.
Both the smartphones are comparable neck to neck although the S6E+ stands out due to it's amazing design. Both of them should be able to run all the latest games with highest details. The fingerprint sensor works great on S6E+, not sure about the 6P yet. And since you mentioned the software updates part, Nexus has always guaranteed upto 2 major upgrades and now they have announced 3 Years of monthly security updates (not featured updates) from the launch day of the device. As far as I've known, even Samsung has provided atleast 2 major upgrades (rolled out much slower than nexus though) on its flagships and recently they've shaken hands with Google on this monthly security update thing (not sure for 3 yrs or not though).
I know I probably haven't helped you choosing one but I hope the mentioned facts will help you choose one! Or the other comments will.:good:
No loose button here.

I'm in the same boat. Want to trade my oneplus two for a s6 edge plus or nexus 6p.
Love the design, camera and screen from the edge but love the updates, fingerprint sensor and front facing sound from 6P.
no loose button on my Galaxy s6 edge+ Plus.
touchwiz is mostly lag free. sometimes my instagram crash sometimes cloeses for no reason but don't no if its the phone or the app it self.
s6 edge plus should get 2 years update.
Nexus 6P bends easily if pressed in the right spot. but otherwise should be fine.
get Nexus 6P if you want latest updates quickly as possible and can't wait. and get 3 years update.

Who has moved from a Note 5 to S7 Edge?

Thinking about making the move. I can get an upgrade cheaply. Don't use the S-Pen.
Things that mostly interest me:
Is the scrolling performance improved over Note 5?
Battery time should be better?
I'm making the switch if and when at&t finally ships the phone. I love my Note 5 and I buy every Note on release. I use the Spen but looking forward to something different.
I hope the battery improves, I'm a heavy user and I'm always out of the office. I need solid battery performance.
As for overall performance my Note barely ever stutters. I expect the same or better with the S7E.

I just sold my note5 for s7 edge. I never used the s pen and 0.2" difference in display isn't a big deal for me. I rather have water proof and 600mah larger battery instead. Can't wait to get my s7 edge lol
Yup, I moved from a Note 5 to S7E. Tmobile JOD, might as well, already got my phone for 3 days.
Scrolling is actually poorer than Note 5 (using chrome and firefox, stock internet browser is fine), lots of lags. I don't know why, early firmware issue I hope.
Battery life is a lot better than Note 5, although right now my S7E have a huge Android System drain (at over 35%), but even with the drain, I can finish my day with 50-60% battery, while with the note 5 I'm at ~40% ish. Standby time is hugely improved, dropping around 0.5-1% per hr, while on Note 5 it's around 1.5-2% for me. I had a similar Android System drain on the Note 5 as well...not sure if Tmobile ROM or...
Extremely annoyed why samsung phones always have "Android System" and "Android OS" drains, these battery should be able to last over 2 days on a single charge. Right now with the drain I got around 30 hours out of the S7E on a single charge. Note 5 battery for me was horrible. 3000mah does not cut it.
Bluetooth connects to my car A LOT quicker than note 5. No clue why...no new bluetooth standard was introduced in the S7E far as I know...but now it connects within 2 seconds, whereas note 5 takes around 7-8 seconds.
Phone now heats up more uniformly instead of at one spot, probably due to that heatpipe design. The screen is smaller, and it's actually a very noticeable difference coming from note 5 although its only 0.2", because now I can clearly see less stuff on the same webpage on the S7E compared to the note, I can see about 4-5 lines more of text on my note 5 than S7E on the same webpage. Also my icons appears packed closer to each other as well. By putting the S7E on top of my note 5 I can see the phone is about the same width as the note 5, but shorter, so I guess that's the reason why I see less stuff, which makes sense, but still feel a bit annoying that I somehow got downgraded. Wish I could manually change the system scaling setting.

Hmmm, that makes me think twice for sure. I guess the system DPi setting is different on top of the screen size being smaller. Lag being worse I guess will be sorted out sooner or later. Perhaps better to wait out until the Note 6,but then I'll have to pay full amount.
To answer OPs question
I've come from a Note5
A) I haven't noticed any major difference in lag or scrolling, If I had to choose, I would give the edge to the S7 Edge.
B) Battery life is better I'm pretty sure. I have everything enabled, Bluetooth / Wifi / S Voice / NFC / auto brightness on medium / Always On Screen and I just hit 50% with 15 hr standby and 2 hours screen on time. And I haven't even really started tweaking and disabling applications yet. If I disabled a bunch of features I'm pretty sure this thing would last 2 days.
Also on topic, I tested the Nand Storage on the Note5 vs the S7 Edge and the write speeds are much better on the s7 Edge.

Thanks for the input so far guys, much appreciated.
Maybe I should put the question more bluntly: those that have moved on, was it a good choice? Are you happy with the move? Yes/No, why.
Keep in mind folks, the note 5 worldwide was exynos. The S7 edge for t-mobile and USA variants are snapdragon 820. The new exynos could be better for scrolling and lagless.

The scroll improved a lot from note 5. When you scroll inside Facebook and lots of app using note 5, its stutter a lot, but using gs7 it's very smooth just as nexus phones. You can check videos I posted.

I really like the S7 Edge but after 4 days I do kind of miss my Note 5 a little. What annoys me on the S7 Edge is you pretty much have to get a case because if not you'll accidentally touch things on the edge of the phone since the phone is so thin. At least that's my experience. Maybe I have bigger fingers. lol I got a clear tpu case and like it but miss the feel of the phone. I miss the screen on the Note 5 but I like the size of the S7 Edge for the summer. At first the S7 seemed a lot better scrolling then Note 5 but yesterday it wasn't. I need to get rid of some bloat that might have been slowing it down. I'll probably keep the S7 but I'll be making my decision on day 13.
Someone from Oculus said the VR looks better with the S7 vs the Edge. I have a VR that I've used with the Note 5 but haven't used it with the S7 Edge. I'm thinking the difference probably isn't that noticeable to most people.
I made the switch!! It's not super different than the note 5. The main reason I did the switch is just for the battery and the snapdragon processor. It also feels better in the hand. Yes it has better battery and scrolling, not a lot but just enough to make the switch.
Definitely happy with it.
I have a note 5, but preordered an S7 Edge...
I'm still on the fence though. I really like the note 5 (and marshmallow looks like it fixed a few annoyances for me).
But I like that the S7 Edge has a bigger battery, and water resistance. And I don't use the spen much, so that isn't a factor.
I may cancel my pre-order, not sure yet.

I'm in the same boat, the camera of S7 have double sided reports and i'm not convinced now that moving to s7 edge is good.

switching to note 7

sold my s6 edge plus and bought note 7 now with the recall incident, anyone has such experience like me, how do you feel, actually the s6 edge plus should be lighter and thinner but I like the sd slot and water proof
I think you should ask about this in the Note 7 xda subsection, because people who are using this xda subsection probably haven't updated
I wouldnt touch a Note 7, Just like I wouldnt have an S7E... apart from the SD slot, they are inferior to the S6 E+ in every way.. hit/miss camera quality, terrible tinney speaker, the edge screen makes it impossible to hit the no 1 key first time, terrible battery drain...
IMO, If the S6E+ had an Sd slot, it wouldve been perfect... although it supports usb OTG..
the battery has been stellar after using package disabler though, it is better than my old s6 edge plus with over 6 sot
I am uncertain for photo quality at the moment for me note 7 is easier on hand than s6 edge plus due to the curve on the back

I think IP68 rating is the big ''flaw'' of our loved S6e+.
Yesterday I saw the Note 7 and I totally will pass the device. Of course in terms of beauty, n7 is inferior, differend edges, much heavier and thicker. My moms S3 will be swapped with s7e because of the 3600 mha battery.
Btw, I have actually owned an S7E so i speak from experience ... the trouble with ip68 on the S7E is the membrane they add to the speaker grill, Like the SONY Xperias, makes the speaker sound thin and a bit cheap.. also.. the combination of the edged screen and where the keyboard lies... I found it took me 3 - 5 attempts to hit the No 1 and A keys.. plus I dont know if it was just the one I had but also I found the camera not that great, my UK S7E had the ISOCELL cam...
With the N7 though.. I really think SS are just milking money out of customers.. the core of the N7 is the same design as the S7E, so its not as if they had to go back to the drawing board...
I do think SS make awesome devices and I love my edge+,, but this huge price increase since the S6 is putting me off next years S8..
IMO, iPhones are Really overpriced but IOS is unique, and is its own Secure OS which is very different, but SS are running Android and there are at least 15-20 new Android phones to choose from every year.
If SS had gotten TIZEN off the ground and the Galaxys were running that, then I could kind of understand the prices.. but £100 -200 more for another Android phone.. seems a bit much
I sincerely dont understand such threads. I own the SGS6Edge + and have had my note 7 returned. The Edge 6+ is a superb mobile as is the Note 7. They are however incomparable.
The Note 7 is a extension to the SGs7 range. It is aimed as business users. The S-pen is what the note is all about.
As for comparing prices let me write this I paid 50.00€ more for the note and got a free VR headset. Now the note 7 has numerous features that our S6+ does not have for example 64GB internal storage, expandable memory, water resistant, the S-pen, new UI, vastly improved camera and software, improved ergonomics etc, I wont bore you with more, that alone is well worth the extra difference in cost between the two mobiles. Believe me that S-pen has matured into a truly useful tool that I used every time I touched the phone! Its amazing what that new pen can do. Even if you don't need nor use the S-pen the other improvements are well worth the small price increase, did I mention the Note 7 comes with 64 gigs of internal memory and external memory card slot. :good:
Hey hey I do still like my Edge 6+ and was very relieved I had not sold it! In reality though we cant really compare oranges with bananas they are fruit but.......
When the Note 7 is re-released I will make another purchase without any doubt. NOT because its a 'better' mobile but because I want-need the extra features the note 7 brings. I will be keeping my SSG S6 edge+ as a back up though.

To buy or wait?

I was looking forward to buying the samsung note 7 this December as a gift from me to me. I had done my research and was simply waiting for the holiday's. And then poooooof it all goes up in smokes.
I am now back to square 1. What's the next best thing? The Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge was something I was considering and I think it is something I read in regards to the curved edges that put me off. Thoughts?
I need a phone with a good camera as I travel quite a bit. Internal storage as well as the ability to add the extra storage is a must as I use the phone a lot for work.
Previous phones have included nexus 4&5, LG, Z3 & Samsung 6. I was looking into the Pixel but like all other Google phones, you don't have the ability to add an sd card
Recommendations?
S7 camera is like good compact (amazing camera ever). 32 GB internal might not be the best, but u can use microSD. It depends. If u want to wait for perfect phone, that might never come, but S7/S7E is good option. For now and future.
S7/Edge is great but it's so close to all the new models from oems I'd wait and see what comes
At this point, if the S8 comes out in early March, it might be best to hold off. Otherwise, the Pixel XL is awesome. Might want to try that.
I think you'll get buyers remorse if you buy an s7 now as the s8 is so close away, and with the pixel if 128gb can suffice for you it's a really awesome phone, camera is just a hair worse than s7e which IMO has the best mobile camera atm
If your budget is not limited, than wait for s8, otherwise you can buy the s7 edge for a low price and I would buy the s7 edge
Great battery
Great camera
Great performance
Great display
Expandable storage
...
Wait for S8 or buy the Pixel (XL ?) or OnePlus 3T
Greatly appreciate everyone's input. At the price that the Pixel is going for in Aus (aprox $1400 for the 128gb), I might as well wait for the samsung 8
I upgraded to the S7 Edge after I saw the price and issues associated with the Note 7 too. I had a Note 4 and to be honest the price I ended up getting the S7 Edge at definitely contributed to my purchase.
If you've got an S6 right now, the S7 Edge is only slightly faster in my experience and the camera is better, but the s6 still has a stellar camera (brother had one for a bit).
If you can get the S7 Edge for a good price (I paid £400 for mine back in June, hence why I bought it) then I'd get it.
The S8 will run of course be expensive to begin with, but it will also drop like the S7, so if you CAN wait, then go for the S8, if not, find the S7E at a good price and you won't be disappointed.
got an S7 Edge today online. Will be delivered to me in the next few days. Only reason is cuz my beloved Note 4 sm-N910G died on me At first i thought it was the battery, so i brought a new original battery from eBay but hence... no cigar. It still wouldn't turn on or recharge. Now i'm thinking how good is the S7 Edge compared to the late 2014, early 2015 flagship Note 4 ?
