Because of the following kernel changes see below.. Do i need to flash pa_mako-Kernel-4.3_JWR66V_HALFBREED.zip before i use any other custom kernel? I only prefer Semaphore or franco as my kernel because it does not touch any of the /system files. For example Semaphore uses the stock Thermal Control and then my question is how it would be the cause or effect? If i flash Semaphore kernel and then it would still use showp1984 Thermal Control? Is there any conflict on that? This is very confusing. Thanks for replies in advance.

The answer seems to be NO.
At least on stock firmware, every custom setting added through SetCpu disappears.
Tested on E610 with default kernel.
If you need OC or other tweaks you need to use a custom Kernel.

Hi guys, ok lets start first of all SM-G530H has a lot of custom rom we all know that but there is one thing that is missing its custom kernel with governor and cpu hotplug I hope somebody can step up and make this possible all good luck
