Hi all, I'm new to this so go easy please!
I am travelling in India and cannot get a data signal, only normal calls/texts.
Can you tell me which baseband I should select from the baseband switcher in advanced settings (Defy Parts)? I don't see an option for India...
I am running Eppy's CM9 13-Jun-12 & CM7 Froyo Kernal.

Select southeast Asia 3.4.3-331. If the settings doesn't persist, then install bbswitcher(you can find the thread in dev section) and use that baseband. Enjoy.

Thanks, tried both, but with no luck, also tried other southeast Asia baseband's and China baseband's without success...

Default cee-europe also works actually. Are the settings persistent, did you try installing baseband switcher?

Yes tried the baseband switcher app also. What do you mean by are the settings persistent?
I also tried a full wipe, flash sbf & reinstall CM9 with latest 13-Jun kernel, still same problem...

International 900/2100 works for me

It depends on your provider. what provider are you using?

Unfortunately I have tried all of the suggestions and I still can't get the data connection to work.
My provider is T-Mobile UK. Perhaps they are blocking the data connection? I've never had a problem in other countries though...
Than its not your baseband. Contact your provider.
Defy baseband query
Hey folks,
I have changed the baseband selection option to South East Asia 3.4.3-331.
After this I am getting dedicated mobile network without any disruptions.
But unfortunately after this change when I accept any incoming call or make any call then I am not able to talk(The other person is not able to hear me and I am not able to hear another person voice).
Can anyone find Smart Lock menu in Huawei P8 Lite?
In Settings/Security/Trusted Agents
I have Smart Lock (Google) enabled
But I cannot find Smart Lock menu: Trusted Place/Trusted Device/Trusted Face/
I am running Lollipop 5.0, ALE-L21C432B132 build.

So I am not the only one. Damn, where is it? I have to keep entering my pin although I have once answered the question to add my smartwatch as a trusted device. Now I want to check this setting or re-add another device or wifi network, but I cannot find the setting.
It's finally implement with Android 6. It's in Huawei SmartLock module.

Hello,
I've a G935F and my network operator have the VoLTE (Proximus in belgium). The problem is I have the LUX firmware and not the PRO.
When I download the correct firmware, I never got the PRO firmware but the German because, it's a multi-CSC firmware…
I don't want root my phone. Is not possible to force the PRO csc ? Rebuilding the firmware and force the PRO csc has master for example ?
LUX and PRO has the only firmware working for network share and I don't want to rooting my phone and lost many features…

I had the same problem.
Jack, i can give you a code so that you can choose PRO but it will wipe your phone so you will have to back up everything.. I got the code from somebody from Proximus.. if you want it, PM me
But make sure you have the multi csc installed..

Never tried by myself but out of the codes available that seems to be the most promising one (*#272*IMEI#, *#272*TIME# are others).
Which Android version are you on? I also heard it works under MM but not N.

Trying with Nougat…*Never testing on MM
Any update on this? Mine is LUX CSC as well, would like to change it one where I can use VoLTE. Just switched to proximus.
A little bit too late, just had mine activated with LUX CSC. No need to change CSC, just give them a call to make sure they activate VOLTE on your SIM.
This was on NOTE 8, with OREO.

Still on B124. Huawei is slow to roll out updates it seems. Not even available as an 'early update' through the HiCare app.
I am still on B121 and no notification of updates even though I check every day.

Guessing it depends on your country region .Anyway there is not much diff notice before and after update .
Ppl, does anybody had problems with this phone, now it's a little bit better, something I'm not doing anymore probably, but when I changed predefined apps on my phone I had to restart 2x a day the phone, huge lag and locking.
Had to shut everything to keep it simple...
I really need a CM rom on this... as Stock android as possible.... EMUI is destroying the performance.....

Both Sims 3g and 4g?
I just bought a Dual Sim Huawei P10 Lite WAS-LX1A, I realized that it only runs 3G and 4G on one of the Sims and only 2G on the other. I want it to run 3G and 4G on both Sims, is there a way to do so?

As far as i know when phone run 2sim only 1 sim can run 4g the other sim only 2g .Its std for huawei 2sim phone and futhermore if using sd card only 1 sim can be used .

i did experience freeze /hang few time but not every day .Do agree the EMUI is using too much of resources .
If the is CM for this phone surely i will try but at the moment have to stay with stock

What about read the specs before buy? It's really clear if you search than one of the SIM cards will only work 2G. OFFICIAL SPECS
Hello i have searched for firmware of WAS-LX2C636B everywhere including FF and its database but got nothing. My device had been bricked for days now in TWRP menu, hopefully someone can upload or link menu with the firmware. Also how do i get oeminfo because in many posts that i read they mentioned that its was needed to restore to stock. Please help me out!

hi Dardamndog, if u using model LX2C636B. Actually on FF their using this code WARSAW - L22C636B..u also can check with huawei warranty check, its will appear this code " L22 "..u can try download that firmware using latest update B130.
Omg. Its ok I sold the bricked phone for 70usd.

The WAS-LX2C636B was updated using OTA therefore if you cant find this firmware just flash the previous version .Once sucess then you can update using OTA ....The most important is LX2 which is asia pacific region (Msia) ...u can flash LX 1 but i think you wont be able to update and may have [problem

You've probably lost IMEI and wifi MAC address while changing ROMs.

Hello, the very same problem here. I started with stock emui 4.0.1 as far as I remember correctly and locked bootloader. Unlocked bootloader with 16 digit passcode from Huawei. Later I flashed emui 4.1 b896. Later I flashed omnirom 6.0.1.
And it started. My lycamobile UK sim, 4g/lte compatible was not detected. I mean, it was detected but only internet was working. I was able to send one text and call a friend once, it was very random. And it was recognized as o2-uk, and 4g network considered as lycamobile. I tried rros 7.1.2 with same results.
My imei(both) and wifi mac address are ok.
Can someone help us to solve it?
You should write in the Omnirom thread, seems something happened while flashing it.
I already did but i saw this guy having same problem i joined the thread.
I just thought, as far as i know huawei removef b896 rom from their web page, there is only b895. Is it possible that flashing omnimod/rros over b895 would solve it?
