Flashable radio zips. - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I KNOW these exist. 3 weeks ago I googled for them and found a page on AFH with all of the zips. However I cannot for the life of me find them now. I've googled... I've searched on XDA.... Yet I am coming up with nothing. Whatever happened to the thread that has all the radios in it? It used to be stickied....
Anyhow, I need to fall back to a previous radio because on 3.72 I have almost non-existent service where I used to have anywhere from 3 to 4 bars. So does anyone have older flashable radio zips or know where to find the thread? Thanks.

I have to agree. Why isn't there an XDA thread for this. Flashing through fastboot is a pain so I'm curious, which radio has worked best for you?

I have to agree I'm looking for 3.61 flashable zip I've found but it's combined with bootloader. Need it by itself

3.61 Radio.img by itself. Flash it with TWRP if your using the latest version. Also, Yoinx KA will flash an image too. I've done it both ways.

Problem with 4.2.2 and the .33 baseband

I'm on stock 4.2.2 and stock kernel.
I noticed that when I'm on the .33 baseband, I can make phone calls but there is no call volume. (Not able to hear anything as if the in-call volume is muted)
When on .48 this problem doesn't exist.
Had anybody found a solution to this? I would like to retain LTE functionality.

Maybe .33 baseband is not compatible with 4.2.2?
I am on Rogers in Canada and do not have this issue.
I am on 4.2.2 Stock with the .33 radio and I just tested this out.
LTE is working and I just made and received a call and we had no problems hearing each other.
Your post greatly concerns me but I can't back it up.
Have you tried it with the old bootloader as well?
Flash back to the 4.2.1 radio
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
The .33 radio is the 4.2.1 radio.
Anyone else have this issue before I go back to .33?

"Official"? LOL.
The whole point of having an entire "Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting" sub-forum is to be able to post distinct threads for each issue so that no one has to wade through hundreds of unrelated posts in a single thread looking for an answer to their question.
Trying to decrease the usefulness of XDA in order to karmawhore is not cool.

I have only tried the radios. .48 (it works but breaks lte) and .33.
Where can I find the .33 matching boot loader?

I should have been more specific. Is the boot loader from 4.2.1 the boot.IMG file? Or is there a different file I'm looking to extract and push?

It'll be the one with the mostly gibberish name. I can't check exactly at the moment though.

Only the .48 radio atm causes no problem with 4.2.2 afaik. This is how Google/LG intended it to prevent LTE trafficing. So you either have LTE and a lot of issues or no LTE and no problems, your choice
You can always roll back to 4.2.1 to keep LTE.
Is LTE selection in the hidden menu controlled by the kernel or the boot loader?
I ask because it would be nice if kernel developers could re enable that feature on the .48 kernel.

[Q] Baseband and Bootloader separate?

Hi all,
Browsing through the 4.2.2 threads I keep on seeing the baseband and bootloader discussed and now I'm wondering if the latest baseband and bootloader are installed when you for example flash a rooted and deodexed factory 4.2.2 .zip.
Thanks in advance.

Most likely, yes. Why wouldn't they be? Easy enough to check with you download the ZIP. Just open it and see what's included.

Ok fair, not when flashing the actual "ZIP" itself. But I consider it all one and the same when going from a version upgrade. Flash bootloader, flash radio, flash zip. My interpretation of the upgrade was just different.
Okay, thanks for the replies. Any reason why they aren't included and are they in for example an AOKP or CM build?
No one knows a reason why? I can confirm they aren't present in CM btw.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
They are not included in ROM's because people like to use different radios and bootloaders. Just go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147194
Download the zip that includes both the baseband and bootloader and flash via recovery (TWRP/CWM).

Flashing 4.4 Roms, binary update failed?

Hello, I'm running twrp 2.6.3 and can't seem to flash to any 4.4 ROMs. I've tried cm11 and rastakat. It says failed after attempting to flash and says something about the binaries not updating. Is this solved simply by switching twrp versions and if so what would be the best way to do this? Thanks for any help

Sideloading Android 4.4.1 KOT49E

I'm trying to sideload the 4.4.1 update to my Nexus 4 but I keep getting the status 7 error. I had the same problem with sideloading from KRT16O to KRT16S, but that was occured by the franco kernel. Flashing the stock kernel fixed that. Right after sideloading KRT16S I tried to flash 4.4.1 but I got the status 7 error again..
I've tried everything; rooted, unrooted, stock recovery, CMW, sideloading, flashing in CWM but all with the same error.. How can I get past this status 7?

Got it from Google's servers. I've read about flashing the boot.img and system.img seperately before flashing the update. Could that work? I'm afraid it won't and I can't find the originals..
Please don't post this in the development section. This belongs in the q and a. For future reference read before posting, I can't stress this enough

No bugs here, except pretty high battery usage. But that status 7 error is really bothering me because I could sideload KRT16S without problems after flashing stock kernel and haven't changed anything since...
Maybe I'll try it. You should list features, bugs, etc in the OP.

Baseband

Is there a radio / baseband update for this phone?
What is the newest version out?
Thx in advance.
Sent from my PH-1 using Tapatalk
Any baseband, radio, or modem update will be included in the monthly updates and they did make changes in February for sure. Unsure if the following updates also included updates.

It should have upgraded when you flashed April stock? Flash the latest from here using the flash all .bat and you'll be good.
