Hi guys, i have a T00j, and i have a stupid big that is really annoying. When i enter on zone with poor gsm signal, like an underground floor, the phone turns on and unlocks the screen, if i have the phone in my pocket it starts pressing menus or calling people, sometimes it goes to settings and you can imagine the problem...
Already tried the updates, hard resets, the phone had it board and screen replaced under warranty and the problem stays on.
Anyone had this? Any idea to solve it?

I think you are on lollipop .87 stock rom..
I faced same problem when I updated to .87 ..
not only that, my phone would lose signal and never searched for signals, my phone would be without signal until I noticed it, and I had to reboot to get back signal..
my solution..
I downgraded to lollipop .60
as I thought it was most stable of the lot..
before that I was on kitkat .54 which to my experience is best rom for zenfone 501cg..

well I had the freezing problem alot of people have and then I upgraded the ROM, and I was very happy it solve it.
BUT since then I'm having a diffrent kind of a problem.
evrey time my device lost it's signal/network coverage due to any reason and then regain coverage, it doesnt reconnect back to the network.
unless I change the network selection for auto to manual or in reverse.
another lovely optoin to fix it is a sw reset.
I looked all over the net to see if some had that kind of a problem and I could only find one, and he was say something about changing my device to being a single band instead of a tri-band.
so the qustion is... does any one knows how to do that ?
or even better... does any one have an idea about how to fix that ?
I am having the same issue here in USA, if I loose signal and regain it, it seems that it does not register on the network properly if I make a call it dead airs (no ring etc) if someone calls it goes straight to voice mail. The phone says it has signal etc. I used to soft reset now I turn on Flight Mode and then Turn it Off which solves the issue, not a real fix but I guess a workaround for the time being. Really annoying
Maybe an issue with the Radio ROM?????????

I have looked everywhere and no solution yet.
someone told me that a hard reset might solve the problem since I havent hard reset my Jamin since the ROM upgarde ( beside the automatic one that is part of the upgarding process).
but I cannt find the time to do this since I have a lot of stuff to save before I do that.
if anyone try that and tell me how it went I'll be greatfull.
I hope I'll manage to do it on the weekend.
I asked before if someone new how to change the Jamin to single band instead of quad band which I think might be the solution.
so if anyone knows... plz...

My Problem is whenever i use to get an incoming call,i slide it to ANSWER direction,and it becomes stuck over there..i tried calling to my hd2 through other phone and whenever i tried to answer it in my hd2 by sliding it to ANSWER direction it stucks over there without connecting,and on the other which i am calling keeps on Ringing..
what is this problem..atlast i have to reset to the factory setting then only it becomes OK.

Tried hard reset, tried upgrade tot official 1.66 rom... Still having the same problem. That after 3months of perfect use...weird!

has anyone tried a hard reset and seeing if this solves the issue, remember a hard reset will wipe all your data.
ya hard reset will solve the problem ..but it will come later ...

as per others member mentioned in the others thread it may caused by did not close the FM radio application is it true...

I have the same problem. I have had this problem with the MIUI and the Cyanogen ROM. Even after updating it still gets stuck.
When I receive a call the screen turns black and I can only answer it by pressing the button, not by using the screen. After the call the screen is still black and the only way to use it is to reset my phone (take out battery).

I open this topic because I can't find another one about the same problem...
I loose the signal many time per day (sometimes 1 or 2 times per hour)
With the latest official ROM : I loose signal and I must enter pincode to reactivate phone.
With ALL other ROM (from 1.5 to 2.1... I tried a lot of them....)
I still loose signal, but, without having to pass trough the pincode screen to reactivate the phone.
- sometimes It found signal alone
- sometimes I must enter/exit airplane mode to find back the signal
- sometimes I try to enter airplane mode but the phone never stop loading airplane mode and I have to reboot the phone.
This bug appears when I'm in an area with a low signal, or after sending 5-6 sms or making 1-2 calls in a short time.
I'm with the latest Radio JU. (I re-flashed It many times)
I have this bug, since I bought the phone. And I'm waiting for the famous "update" since October...
With every New ROM I hope It will work and It makes me waiting for the official. But none of them really worked...
Am I alone in this case ? I never heard something like that (I heard about the low strenght of the signal reception, but not a bug like me)
Must I bring back the phone to the shop ? Or the next update will do something ?
It really does sound like there's something physical wrong with your phone. I have never had any problems like this, and i havent heard of anyone else that had that same problem.
I'd take the phone back under warrenty (remember to flash original ROM so you lose root access if your phone is rooted) and get it fixed or swapped for a new one...
hmm really does sound like a problem specific to your phone.
to be honest I've never had this problem.. and I would suggest that your inability to find anyone else with this "bug" would mean nobody else has either.

i have a problem and im hoping to get some assistance.
i got a GS4 from a friend of mine that he had some problems with. i took the device and assumed that it just needed to be reflashed. boy was i wrong, lol
it has some weird issues with ANY rom i flash (and ive tried about 5 dif ones)
issues are as follows:
1) when i try to make a call or try to use any GSM shortcodes (*120# to check balance in my country, Jamaica) the phone freezes. it still tries to make the call, as i see the little phone icon in the top left corner but nothing at all
2) sound doesnt work at all
3) wifi doesnt work either
the strange thing is, when i flash a rom, it boots as normal, and i can go into the menu with no issues, but once i try to do any of the above, it freezes and then normalizes about 3 - 5 mins after.
im relatively experienced with rooting and flashing as i had a Note as well as a mytouch 4g.
it has the latest safestrap installed. to be honest, im unsure of what my friend tried to flash to it, but i figure that it might be a radio issue for the wifi and regular calling.
as for the other stuff, im stumped.
any help is greatly appreciated, thank you
If it's having problems with the sound and the wifi isn't working, my guess could be water damage. If the problem is with ANY rom, there may be a problem with the device itself. Best way to see for sure it's water damage is checking the battery water indicator, if you wanna go deeper, remove the backing of the phone and check the water indicators.
dont think its water damage tho. battery indicator seems clean. and i stated before the phone works part way but freezes when i try to perform certain actions
EDIT::: even when i try to reboot it freezes for abt 2 mins then reboots. its like the phone is lagging internally for some reason

need help with 3s. Phone lately drops signal on no reason. When I unlock the phone signal comes back sometimes in 30sec, 3min, sometimes in 5min but its very uncomfortable when I have to chceck sth on internet or f.e. buy ticket quickly - impossible. Sometimes i can't send text or dial a number. Sometimes when phone is locked nobody can call me, sometimes it works properly. Factory reset is done and no change. Is that problem with stock ROM or sth broke inside phone?
Somebody had the same problem?

Hello, i use stock rom and no problem about signal, stock rom is the best one, every feature works well in stock rom, and the battery life is better than custom rom, but not at peformance, why not trying to re flash your phone? , If problem persist, it's mean a hardware problem.
