Is it possible to me for downgrading from MM 6.0.1 to Lollipop (any fw version) ?
I can go to TWRP Tethered with this :
HTML:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot twrp-x.x.x.x.img
My Devices :
HTML:
ZE500KL / Z00ED
Running MM 6.0.1
Bootloader unlock
Rooted, Xposed.
If you may, please give me the link of original thread or write detailed instruction.
Thank you

I have not tried it. I think that you have to reboot to stock recovery and flashing stock firmware from the Asus website. If you haven't stock recovery it's not no problem.

If you want to flash stock firmware from twrp recovery you must to modify update-skript.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...uide-how-to-flash-stock-rom-via-twrp-t3409768
If you want to fix your stock recovery you can do it from the fastboot mode.

I have an Asus zenfone 5 which was bricked and for some reason sideloading from the adb stopped after installing 54% of the firmware so I decided to go for cynogenmod, which was sucessfully flashed. I now want the old stock android back and dont know what to do. If i use ADB again after 54% it will just stop and I tried using TWRP too but it said wrong version and all.
I want to know if i can use ODin to flash my device and if yes then how?. Also in odin im required of an md5 file which i dont know where to get. I have a lollipop firmware and please tell if i need more than that or not.
ODIN is only for Samsung phones.

Thanks for the info. I haven't checked it how it will go but at the end I still have to sideload my lollipop update right. That it the problem here since adb always stops at as I reach 54% of the installation. Is there any other way to update to lollipop and the end when your guide finishes?
And thank you for replying

Yes. Just download 3.23.40.60 firmware, extract recovery.img from the firmware .zip, boot to Droidboot, flash the recovery.img, reboot to recovery, then sideload the firmware. That's it.

I had the same issues but I resolved it
U must have the latest adb tools
U must have recovery image of .52 not .60 (lollipop )
.60 firmware ,
First flash the fastboot from .60 firmware ( It will be droidboot)
Then flash the recovery (.52 recovery )
Reboot into recovery then sideload the .60 firmware ( in case the sideload fails try to relock bootloader then sideload the firmware .)
After that u can manually update to .78 and .87 fimwares respectively . @zaris47 try this as I mentioned and plz google for the files .
i was using .78 and now can't get back to droidboot of .78 (lollipop)

Try flashing RAW firmware....its the easiest and safest way to do...
Somewhere around the threads, there is a windows cmd prompt based script created by dgadelha(or tank0412, i forgot ?) which allows u to flash the rom in just a single click......try to search it...I'll post the link if i got that post...
Also, note that RAW fw for A500CG also works for A501CG,but only via this script ,not Asus flash tool apllication(only works for a500cg)...
thanks for the advice, lokking forward for your next post

however , raw firmware for a500cg works for a501cg too.....use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65367132&postcount=2

some changes to be made hin the guide:-
Extract the contents too from the raw file to the same folder and also keep the raw file with it...
try running the command file "NOT" as administrator...

I can't unlock bootloader, because I haven't access to system
Means you have a fully bricked device? Or you can get in stock recovery? If yes then try to boot it up in stock recovery and connect via adb.

Dude? I don't understand what are you saying! You don't go in twrp to flash the stock recovery. Copy the stock recovery to your adb folder in your computer ( where you have adb.exe ) Just turn of your phone then hold the power and volume up at the same time util you enter in fastboot mode the in adb use this: " fastboot flash stock-recovery-LL.222.img " After that reboot in recovery again and you should get the stock recovery, after that move the stock ROM to sd card and in recovery select " update from sdcard " or do it with sideload using " adb sideload UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.7.1-user.zip "
my solution

sorry for my English.
I had the same problem. Startup screen locked and nothing else ( ZE500KL ).
I believe the problem to be using the unlock procedure with latest firmware version 13.10.7.1 .
I solved it by reinstalling before UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.7.1-user.zip and then this file boot_13.10.6.16_patch.
(I can not post links . search it with google . if someone can post it to write to me in pvt . I give link)
everything from sd card with TWRP
although it is not the same version it solved the problem . Now everything perfect . If you want to reboot after you reset by zenfone and bring back to factory conditions .

Soooooo, here it comes
Trying to root my Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L31 (Compilation VNS-L31C02B329), but I can't make it to boot from TWRP
Android 7.0 Nougat / EMUI 5.0
1 - Already unlocked bootloader
2 - Already installed all those Huawei Drivers / ADB and all sorts of things
3 - Already usb debug mode ON and also OEM unlock active
4 - Already used the adb flash recovery recovery.img
5 - After the steps above, rebooted device in bootloader recovery, but it never goes to boot TWRP, only to Erecovery Huawei
Can someone help me, step by step, how to make the system boots first to TWRP and skip Erecovery Huawei?
Many thanks

I've tried a lot of them (3.0.2 was the last one, if I'm not wrong), but all seems not being working
I wonder if I'm not doing something wrong when restarting the device, maybe I'll try again some steps, but if someone here could give me an precise step by step and a 100% guarantee twrp file, maybe I could figure out what was wrong
Do you know someone whose cellphone is the same as mine?

How is your bootloader locked while having TWRP installed? Boot to bootloader and unlock it again. Then proceed with flashing the stock image.

use fastboot, first unlock the bootloader with code fastboot oem unlock, then move the kernel of your android version to the fastboot folder and flash it on the boot partition, with the code fastboot flash boot boot.img, that's all.

Are you able to go in twrp recovery?
Till which step did you reach? What waa the last message you saw on screen?
Charge it for a day, then press vol + button and power button and see if you can get to fast boot. Try plugging USB in and see if it's recognised, otherwise.
