AASAservice has stopped - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I keep getting popups regarding "AASAservice" has stopped. And then i click OK and everything works fine, until it pops up again.
Its really annoying, anyone with experience in this matter? Cant seem to find any information on how to fix it.
This happened after rooting my phone.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Bluetooth Problem

Firstly I apologise if this has been asked before.
I have been browsing the forums since getting my HTC and installed MaxManilla and loving it, however my Bluetooth keeps coming up with an error and it will not switch on. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this. I am getting a BTTray.exe error on start up after soft reset.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Fixed (I think)
Oh well I deleted BtCoreIf.dll and that seemed to work.
Carry on...

Sound does not work

hi,
the sound of my hd2 is not working.
not when I get call and not when I want to play music.
I must have deleted something when I was cleaning up my phone.
can anyone help me with this?
thanks in advance!
Bojan
Mine did this from new for about 4-5 days, then suddenly started working and has been fine since.
I don't remember changing anything - in fact, I was about to send it back for a replacement when it started working.
Sorry I can't help any more than that.

Context Service stopped working..

Does anyone know what this FC is or what's causing it? It says, "Unfortunately, Context Service has stopped working." When I press ok it just keeps coming up.
Unfortunately, Context Service has stopped working.
Hey, you ever figure this problem out? I'm having the same issue with my S5. It just keeps popping up. Sometimes back to back like 30 times.. It got better, but now it seems like it's getting worse. I'd rather not factory reset my device. I'm rooted on stock 4.4.2. It's been rooted since it came out. So it's been a while. It's been performing perfectly for many months.. But now this is happening. What's the deal?! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I switched it with a context service apk from another rom

[Q] unfortunately, the process com.sec.ims.android has stopped

Hey guys, my wife has a stock Note 3 and every so often this prompt will pop up "unfortunately, the process com.sec.ims.android has stopped" If I hit ok, it will go away for about half a second and then pop up again. I can restart the phone sometimes or have to pull the battery and it won't happen again for about a week, but this is a problem that I need to resolve and I know someone in here has the know-how. I've looked all over the place on the internet, and on this forum but no one else has experienced the same thing, I'm puzzled. Please help, thank you.

Go into settings>General>app manager>All> find contacts and open it then clear cache. If that doesnt help. Clear cache and data. Fixed it for me.

Same thing started happening to me on Friday 11/21/2014 morning.
I've tried:
Clearing cache and data in contacts.
Restarting the phone.
Reset the phone to factory default.
Wipe cache.
In some situations it will work for a call or two and then the same error message again.
Thank You

It seemed like they were not even trying to help me since the phone is tmobile. Everything works ok just the calls part. Some one help! It's frustrating
Has anyone been able to identity and or fix the issue? I'm also having the same problem phone works fine as far as everything I just cannot make or receive phone calls sometimes I never know when. I have it unlocked to use it with MetroPCS and it was working fine it just started one day. I have tried a brand new Sim card, factory reset, even disconnecting it and reactivate the phone...no luck. On WiFi calling it works perfectly so makes me think it's not the phone but make me wonder if it was the network why only us out of the millions of people...if anyone has any updated regarding this issue please get back with us. Thanks...

yea i am curently experiencing the same problem
I tried the same thing and it works as long as i dont restart the phoen. Then it starts all over again. Very frustrating. Does anyone know if what this process does or if you can disable or uninstall this? Maybe thathat would work, as long as it is not something you really need ofcourse. Thanks.
You can try the same thing using titanium back up. that helps sometimes. Just open Titanium backup. locate ur contacts and phone apk. click them and then click clear data. i havnt tried this method but its worth a try. maybe the next time i experience it i will try this as well.

I tried doing that already and same message appears when i restart phone. I was thinking of freezing the com.sec. Ims.android and all ims related using titanium, but wanted to see if anyone knows what these processes are used for.
Question??

I had the same problem and i went to the app manager>all and there I found the process that always crashes (com.sec.ims.service) and I forced to stop, and it's seems to have solved the problem by now

[Q] Unfortunately, bluetooth share has stopped error when connecting to my car.

I have a SGH-i337M S4. I recently flashed Slimkat Stable 7.0 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2561125. I should be using the kernel from the rom as I didn't install another kernel. I connect to my car with only media access fine but as soon as I add in phone access. It instantly gives me the error "Unfortunately, bluetooth share has stopped." It is actually really important for me that I have this on as I do drive a lot and need to be able to answer calls.
I tried installing this rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2763102. It still didn't work and occur the same way. Anyone got a fix for this?
I figured out that it stops working after I try to give access to contacts. Still cannot get it to work. Still cannot get it to work.
Similar issue
I was amazed that my Dodge Charger 2k14 was able to read my texts aloud and inform me I had incoming texts. The first day driving like this was blissful. Then I started to download more apps and a few days later when I went back to my car, I constantly get the same error, "unfortunately, bluetooth share has stopped".
I have not added any apps other than google playstore, nor have I rooted my device. Everything is pretty much basic stock stuff. How do I fix this problem? Or should I just wait until lollipop actually comes out for this device and see if that does the trick? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
