Revert Cyanoid SDMerge back to Stock Rom - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a LG Optimus L3 E400GO (Dutch) currently containing a version of Cyanoid along with CWM Custom Recovery.
As Cyanoid is working really, really, really slow, I would like to revert to my original rom and see if I can still use a few common apps on this device.
I am having trouble reverting. I have done my best to follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060121
The phone is recognized by Windows as a media device and is able to work with it, but LG PC Suite does not recognize the phone. KDZ updater keeps telling me "Phone not found" (here I have USB Debugging mode on). The drivers are installed and I have tried reinstalling them.
I am sure that I have the right stock firmware.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Help - Installing and Recovery

I am new to Flashing my LG Optimus GT540. I would like to install the Gingerbread firmware located here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=969366
I was wondering which recovery file i download as there is a list of them - http://joestone.prisonblock.hu/ It is the same for the Fastbook
I have a Android 2.1 (Official LG Update)
Please can you help me as i don't want to muck the phone up
Thanks
Have you ever used KDZ Updater on your computer with your phone before? If you haven't I'll try to post some instructions. In the mean time download the fastboot ginger0613.zip or ginger0613d2s.zip onto your PC
The D2S meaning, data to system giving you more room for installing apps
Edit; Forgot about lavero.burgos's great Tutorials

Easiest method to root L7 v10k?

Hi,i'm really a noob and i'm here to request help.
I've read almost all the development thread, but I never tried to do something on my own phone. Now I want to simply root it,I have the stock rom with v10k firmware.
Should I use the prerooted v10k or the root+cwm+unlocked bootloader mod? I saw someone talking about installing cwm from the Rom Manager app (in order to install cm10)
I'm waiting for a more stable cm10,now i just want root. What should I do? Flash prerooted v10k,unlock bootloader and then install cwm from the app or just flash the all-in-one mod?
Thanks to anyone that can provide me with a idiotproof guide to this (by the way I use the phone mostly with wifi and 3g)
- Link to installation procedure of a prerooted V10K ROM.
- Link to installation procedure for Bootloader unlock and installation of CWM Recovery.
Try these procedures! It helped me a lot
Ok,I'll try to flash them separately.
Flashing the v10k prerooted rom will do it? No wifi fix like for the deodexed one?
Yes, it will! I did it and it did not asked me to fix anything. It works very well.
I have two questions:
1) If I install the official drivers with the LG Support Tool and then I connect the phone,Windows Update tries to search drivers. What I have to do? The first time i tried to flash,KDZ stopped responding right after i clicked "Lauch Software Update" and a (if i remember the name correctly) mod.cab file appeared on desktop.
2) I have to connect the phone with Media Sync (MTP) or with PC Software? I read two guides on How To Flash Stock Firmware on L7 and one says Software PC,one says USB Storage.
Thanks
It's completly normal to the KDZ stop responding. It force close when it ends.
And you have to connect with PC Software!
Yes,it worked
I was kinda worried to do this, thank you

Verizon LG G2 Bricked?

So I had a old rooted ROM on my LG G2, I believe Clean 1.0. I wanted to try another ROM and so went to install the 24A bootstack provided by XDABBEB; however, I forgot to transfer the download mode fix zip. I installed and can now do nothing except reboot into recovery. I tried going back to a backup of the Clean ROM, but that did not work. Is there anything I can do? I did not transfer the new ROM over to my phone either, if that matters.
Edit: I also tried to do the terminal commands but it did not work. Guessing I am stuck now.
Bump. And tried to go back to stock but can't get download mode to start up correctly so can't use the TOT method. Unable to set up kdz method on Windows 8; NOT 8.1. Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Firmeware Update with LG Support Tool - D802 rooted

I am running a D802 with Stock ROM (D80220b-EUR-XX).
The phone's rooted and I have a Recovery (TWRP) installed.
I am not really into flashing ROMs, but the main reason for me to root was to use xdabbeb's camera Mod, as well as Viper4Android.
Now there's a new firmware available (20f) and I am wondering if it would work to update my device with the LG Support Tool, as I won't be able to install the update OTA?
When connected, the LG Support Tool tells me that there is an update available, but I am not sure if this would work, or if I end up in a bootloop, as I have a recovery installed. Also, I wouldn't want to loose all my data or internal SD data...
- So, is it possible to update my G2 with the LG Support Tool even though I have a recovery installed?
- If yes, would I loose all data?
- If no, I guess I could always flash the kdz with this method thread, but I guess I couldn't use the "normal flash" mode and would loose all data anyway
Thanks in advance - any input is appreciated

[Q] LG G2 running CM12, no recovery or download mode, need help.

Hi guys,
I attempted to restore my G2 (D802 international 32GB) back to the stock kitkat firmware from Cyanogen Mod 12. While attempting the restore, the lg support tool gave me an error saying it had failed, however when I disconnected the device it was apparently still doing something.
I now am at a stage where I get no recovery, download, or fastboot mode, etc, however my device is connecting to my PC as qhsusb_bulk in device manager. I followed this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 in order to help remedy the issue, however it didn't work. I'm guessing it could have something to do with the fact that I had CM12 rather than the stock firmware of which I extracted the necessary files for my device (I extracted the files from an IMEI number provided KDZ) in place of the files provided on the thread.
Could someone help point me in the right direction? Do I need the image files from CM12, or the stock images despite the device running CM12 before hand? am I following the right process?
Thank you very much in advance for any help anyone can provide, I really appreciate it!
PS. Sorry if this has been covered before, I just haven't been able to find anything else.
Were you able to find out what the problem was? I am on CM12 myself on my G2 D802. Got some problems with TWRP. It wouldnt restore backups, and had problems with flashing ROMs ang gapps so I flashed CWM with flashify and now when I try to reboot to recovery I just get the LG logo and boot verification issue... Would really appreciate if you could share your solution if you were able to find one
