Alright so I apologize if you see this twice cause my tablet crashed possibly the app I'm sorry if you see this twice. So anyways recently I updated my Galaxy s5 to android 6.0 and I didn't like it so I downgraded. OK so after the the downgrade I ran geek bench and my first score was around 2100 my second score was 1800 my third score was 3100 my forth score was 2500. OK so before the upgrade and downgrade I was getting solid scores of 3100. Is this normal that I'm getting these mixed scores cause I was really concerned, is there anything to be concerned about. By the way I used geek bench 3 for my bench marks, and I just want to put this out there I love this site and community and would like to thank everyone in advanced who will possibly reply to this even if you just read thank you for taking the time

hi everyone
i just come from a Hero and got this thing, its crazy s**t
put desire hd android on its awsome, beats my Hero anyday.lol.
i noticed thats guys on here are getting quadrant scores of 2000+ i aint got to that point yet but then i was looking at Gsmarena at the new Lg star,if you have look at the bottom of page in the vid bit, only ses 2146 and guys on here are getting more, its flippen unreal hows it whipping a duel-core mobi.it shoulda been an android phone from the start
ps anyone know why the music EQ aint working mdj desire hd 4.4
the lg what ?
even if it had a million cores , i wouldnt buy non htc
We have like really good CPU power and I/O scores...
in the video your talking about.... it takes a while to get thru these tests.... but it flies thru the 2D and 3D test....
so it has a great GPU but Lg failed at making their I/O scores decent... which is fine... cuz Android likes animations and thats more of GPU than I/O or CPU....
anyhow... probably not worth switching... waiting for tegra III or IV on a htc device...

same here. those guys are too lazy to update their roms.
Seeing as quadrant doesn't support multithreading, it would only be benchmarking one of the cores anyway...
Quadrant scores don't really mean anything. There's a lot of things that can boost up a quadrant score but that doesn't actually mean its faster or smoother. Also, any rooted and properly tweaked native phone of similar specs will beat the hd2 any day. Everyone always compares the tweaked and modified hd2s quadrant scores to stock android phones, which isn't a fair comparison if they aren't also rooted and tweaked. My friend with a nexus one easily gets over 3000 on his quadrant scores. It all depends how you tweak it. A native phone will probably always be able to outperform a port of android.... but atleast we can run multiple OS's.

Has anyone else seen this? I was consistently getting 6900 or so on my N7100 compared to the AT&T at around 5900 with Quadrant Standard. Are they under clocking to compensate for the LTE chip? I am going to send back the AT&T version unless there is an easy fix. Thanks. I'd prefer the faster speed and the FM radio.
Well ive notice like antutu im guessing its comparing from international version?? Cuz I can never get my ram and cpu higher than what it should be stock and im overclocked and gpu overclocked I get way over 2d and 3d but that's about it

Yeah, when I ran Cyanogenmod for a few days I noticed that the benchmark was way worse than stock. I usually see the opposite.
This is the best ive got it avg about 18729 or so but I just can't c how the ram and cpu is better ive tried about everything unless they put the stock to high idk ill take that score any day but ive seen ppl saying they avg 19500 and I find that hard to believe

I just ran AnTuTu on my international and got a 17712... So that's pretty conflicting between the Quadrant. Which version would you keep if you had both units in front of you and no LTE in your area?
Im happy with my at&t version im soon getting LTE where I live so that helps but id like to beable to flash some roms that the n7100 has I know there's ways to but im to lazy to try it but the whole reason I didn't get the n7100 was the cost honestly

Seriously, don't get too obsessed with benchmarks. If you're happy with the device that's all what matters. Benchmarks are decent to get a fair idea about the specs etc, but real life performance is far more important. What's the point of 30K benchmark if you're fine at even 14 or 15K? Just the numbers, is it?
So I bought a tmobile s7edge after returning my Canadian exynos after reading about various online reports on how overall a better processor the snap 820 is ,also the fact that fm radio is built made it overall a better value for me.
However I tried benchmarking my fine expecting antutu to be around somewhere between 120k to 130 but the best my device gets is 98k (this is after keeping it in a freezer). Even my 3d mark scores are low for a snap 820 device. Quadrant score is somewhere between 34k to 41k Only the geekbench seems to give a normalized score.
I have tried factory format, wiping cache, putting in the freezer over an hour.
One odd thing which I noticed was my gpu clock was stuck at 214 mhz even in the best case scenario( Cpuz pic attached)Could it be that the new tmobile update screwed up gpu clock or is it something else.
I cannot return the phone unfortunately as it beyond 30 days and I hardly doubt that phone could easily be a lemon as I remember once benchmarking quadrant (fresh out of the box) and it gave me a 57k score. What do you guys think what's going on?
Yes, it's. I'll buy it from you for $400. ?
TengTengvn : $900 and it's yours lol
Bump anyone ?
I am still waiting for a solutions folks. Please anyone ?
Hello , i am using the exyynos variant of the s7 edge. When i benchmark it i get a score of 105000 on average.
But the other s7 edge variants get a score of 138000. which is a big differance. Does anyone know y this is happening.
I experiance some log while playing games too.

Be sure you bench the phone from a cold state as the score will drop big time if it's heated. Also the lag should go away in two weeks.
turn off all power saving options and other features present in nougat
also, whisper in its ear when you start the benchmark from cold...

It's normal. I get lower score in Antutu Benchmark every device I use like Note 2, Note Edge, S7 Edge. There are too many reasons for that, first is heat. Number of installed app, cache, thumbnails, Whatsapp Files and SD Card fullness are other things to effect Antutu score.
(Antutu Average Score is calculate in best conditions, I mean, it's just theorotical score, not pratically. So, you don't need to think about getting lower score on Antutu )
Like everyone said, you should bench from cold state. Also delete every app running in backround. :good:
like it matters... the overall performance is the most important and I addume you're happy with S7 speed.
life is too short to worry about benchmarks
Hi there,
I recently bought a used v20 and found it to be really slow for a SD 820 device so today i ran Antutu and Geekbench and i'm getting like 73k in antutu and 1800 multicore in Geekbench.
That does not look right. Any suggestions?
I've searched around and no one else who thinks their phone is lagging did the benchmarks.
That doesn't sound right. Mine is running nice and smooth with no issues, did you purchase the phone from a carrier of 3rd party?
antutu average for this phone is around 130k i believe so your phone isnt working right
Your scores are really low.
I've just ran both tests and get the following results:
Antutu - 148346
Geekbench 4 - Multicore - 4061
