Access Flash from Bootloader

Hi,
i posted a similar Thread over at prophet wm6, but i think this place is more appropriate:
i own a G4 Prophet that doesn't boot properly anymore; i'll need to hardreset it.
But i still have some important data on the main flash. As it is possible to access the flash partitions from the bootloader i figured there must be a way, possibly even a tool, to access the filesystem to recover my data.
I have searched alot but couldn't find anything, maybe someone over here can help me out? Thanks!

[Q] Alcatel one touch pop c7 - bootloop - imei invalid

Hi there xda members! i recently bought this alcatel pop c7 (1gb ram version) and like many others i soft bricked it - boot loop - while trying to install a ported miui, that was not good for my phone. So for 8 almost full days, im trying to recover my phone. Tryed every solution that i found here on xda and also other forums. At some point my phone wasnt even charging itself.
I have to mention that my phone was rooted and i have CWM 5.5.0.4 on it ( thanks to you guyz) . But cwm was of no use, backup restoration was of no use.
Finally found out a solution that created a biger problem for me (maybe this will help other users that have the boot loop issue) From the root request thread alcatel pop c7, i found about Cherry Mobile Fuze custom roms, and genesis did work. My phone boots now, it works fine, connects tot the internet but i have no sim detected, no imei and even mtk droid tools and imei generator didnt help (i think its because of the rom that is dual sim, on a single sim phone).
But as the thread from root request alcatel pop c7 sayd ( page 7 post 52) i had to replace boot img from stock and build.prop. Boot img was easy to find, build.prop not. So i took boot img from stock rom (posted here on xda, but bad scatter files) and build.prop i took from the first ported miui rom that bricked my phne. It boots now but no imei. mtk droid tools and imei generator aren't working, but the tutorials with mobile uncle tools, entering engineer mode and writing some comands there, that i think it may solve my phone, but too bad , my new rom has no engineering mode apk.
So im asking the xda comunity, is my phone done? is it gone? can i do something about it ?
Can i get a stock build.prop (maybe that was the problem)?. In my opinion i have a few options but dont know how to proceed in these cases : flash the stock rom (no good stock rom backup untill now, i have downloaded tons of backups) flash engineer mode to change those imeis (didnt find how to do it) use one touch upgrade to force update my phone to stock (is there any way to fool OTU that my phone has an older version of android or no version at all? are there a thing in build.prop that modified can make my phone seem outdated) and lastly a good build.prop.
Sorry for the long post, i wouldnt ever have bothered xda if i was not desperate (usually i find answers to my questions, but now nothing worked)
and also thank you in advance for reading, posting a comment , anything that can help me in my problem. Maybe the trick with genesis rom can unbrick others people alcatel pop c7 phones, but beware, imei may be gone after that.
help !!!

huawei ascend G740-l00 recovery from soft-bricked state

Hello,
Can someone please to be so kind and create specifically recovery file for g740-l00 ? I don't have it because i bought this phone cheap from even more clueless person in hope to repair but all specific model based links are either dead, full of viruses or under sms "offer" scam block, unlike the other similar thread here i have no data to lose, already tried to reset phone with the recovery menu.
Bootloader is also locked by default and i can't find any unlocker or imei-based code service so only hope is the recovery file to reinstall android 4.1.2.
Can anyone direct me to some rom download?
UP, please don't ignore me... :crying:
NVM, i found this file: http://d-h.st/E82 and rest is told in orange yumo topic

Bad root / unlock - Recovery loop on start

I unlocked my Moto G5 Plus using instructions online and flashed a custom ROM and got root with Magisk 15. Everything works except for a strage issue which I haven't found a solution for even after weeks of searching:
The phone boots by default into Recovery and I have to manually go to bootloader to be able to boot the ROM.
I know this has to do with the phone trying to verify that the stock rom hasn't been modified, but how to I fix this and keep Viper (which I like).
I have looked into verity, safetyNet, ctsProfile, integrity check, etc however I did not find clear explanations to understand how to fix this issue.
Any help is appreciated. Ask if you need more info from me. If this is the wrong place to ask these questions please point me to the correct forum.
Thanks a lot!

Please, I need prog_emmc_firehose_8996.mbn (.elf) for QFIL [I offer donation]

Hello, thank you very much for reading, I hope you can help me. I need one or more files to be able to recover my phone: Samsung Galaxy S7 Active.
These are the files that I need:
prog_emmc_firehose_8996.mbn (.elf)
rawprogram0.xml
patch0.xml
I do not know if I would also need these:
MPRG8996.hex
rawprogram_unsparse.xml
I think these files are the same as prog_emmc_firehose_8996.mbn (.elf):
8996_msimage.mbn
MSM8996.mbn
How did I make a brick my phone? Installing the first official version:
SM-G891A_G891AUCU1APG7_ATT_Full_Repair_Frimware
Previously I used this version without any problem:
G891AUCS2API2_CL8737252_QB10881022_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT
I wish someone could help me, I have read more than 50 pages, but I have not been able to solve the problem.
Please.
Can anybody help me?

HEY!
I found a way!!!
...for me:/
why you want this emmc_firehose_8996.mbn?
actually, i think that you don't need that file especially, it doesn't exist from where i've searched.
if it's to flash your phone all you need is odin and a flashable file of your phone firmware
i had a zuk z2 pro and was locked with frp when i wanted to setup custom rom AOSP 9.0.0 for example.
but i managed to unlock it by flashing a custom rom without gapps in the first place to no get locked out.
tell me how your phone is reacting, what do you have access to, and your initial step before brick

Hello, sorry for my bad English. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active (SM-G891A). I will try to explain what happened.
I had this version of Android 6 installed (via Odin) on the phone:
G891AUCS2API2_CL8737252_QB10881022_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT
With that version my phone was fine, but then I tried to install the first version of Android 6 (official) via Odin:
SM-G891A_G891AUCU1APG7_ATT_Full_Repair_Frimware
When the installation was completed (Odin said the installation was successful), the phone never restarted. There is no way to turn it on with any combination of buttons, nor with a microSD with a debrick.img. A USB JIG has not worked for me either.
Windows detects my phone in Qualcomm 9008 mode. Odin does not detect it.
did you find a solution?
actually it look like to be a hard brick but as it's snapdragon 820 you can recover from it
I'm waiting for the day when noobs and half-noobs (no offense, all of us have been there) will start reading before writing and stop assuming that their 1st aid kit will revive a kitten ran over by a train.
It's okay not to know, but before writing a spam reply, just consider for a second that the user already tried your solution and is already a step ahead.
Listen guy, go to Halab Tech. They have certain firmwares for what you need, but they ask money.
Those type of firmwares have a prefix "DEBUG_EMERGENCY_DOWNLOAD_FA....'
In my case it's "DEBUG_EMERGENCY_DOWNLOAD_FA70_G955U1SQU6ASG1_CL12542406_QB24669289_REV00_user_mid_noship_MULTI_CERT.tgz"
As I consider that a bastard move (since they are selling Samsung's intellectual property as their own, stuff that should be public in the first place), I encourage you to share the files if you buy them, so that we can all use them and screw over these monopoly playing-intellectual property stealing bastards.
I'm now working on a recovery of my G955U1 (S8+ Qualcomm USA). I paid $25 for a god damn firmware and I'm gonna post it in next couple of days.
I'm personally having trouble of flashing the firmware (because not many flash tools support flashing .elf flash loaders), but I used one FRP tool (Octoplus FRP tool) to check the loader and it managed to send it, receive the "hello" packet, read partitions and erase the FRP partition (I assume it worked by the log), but I don't have a way to flash other partitions yet.
You people should have in mind one thing: even though certain devices have the same chipset, doesn't mean that you can use the same firehose flash loader, since manufacturers create different loaders for them and write their digital signatures into the chip (don't know is it hardwired or flashed), meaning that you cannot use Xiaomi's prog_ufs_firehose_8998_ddr.elf (just an example) to flash a Samsung device with MSM8992 chipset.
In fact, I think that each phone model and possibly even it's different firmware revisions have unique loaders, since I didn't manage to get a successful response from my G955U1 by sending G955U2 loader, and the loader which I managed to send is actually stated to be for G955U1U6 (U6 is the bootloader revision number, while U1 is the part of the model number).
Best of luck, contact me if you need help.
