Hey guys, i tried to install the TWRP from "TWRP 2.8.7.0 HTC M9+" Thread, but the red reminder text comes up and it freezes.
I can reboot back to my OS w/o problems, but i would really like to root my device. I tried the another version of TWRP which i found on xda, but it bootloops my OS.

I'm not sure how you setup your phone for flashing. I followed this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOHN8byHAzk. I had no issues at all. You have to be in Download Mode to flash twrp. You also have to use the appropriate twrp file for the M9+ (which you said you tried). I also used the current version of SuperSU as the video is over a year old.
I haven't been able to find a stock recovery for the M9+ Supreme Camera and HTC doesn't allow it to be backed up with adb/fastboot. Once you successfully flash twrp I don't think you can get ota updates (not sure if/when there will be any).
I did use twrp to make a full backup of the stock phone. Then I flashed SuperSU. Make sure you copy the SuperSU to internal storage to allow twrp to install it. The external sd doesn't work for flashing or restoring backups.
After flashing SuperSU, I used twrp to wipe dalvik and cache. It's been rock solid and fast. I even got AT&T LTE working in a few US cities (DFW airport area and Tallahassee, FL so far).

I don't think you have the M9+ SC codenamed "HIAUR_ML_TUHL"
Maybe you got the M9s/M9e (himaruhl).
But your OS version is 2.18.401.10(Android M), I would guess it's One S9.

Hi,
I'm stuck!
Sucessfully, rooted and installed LeeDroid. Run Easy Radio tool v2_2 seemed OK,
Then I tried to update radio but failed - writing 'radio' ... FAILED <remote: not allowed>
... now I can't reboot past the green HTC logo??
Apparantly I should have also run EasyS-OFF_05??
So I downloaded RUU_Ace_HTC_WWE_1.32.405.6_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26 .03.02.26_M ran it and found the rom.zip file.
Renamed this PD98IMG.zip, copied to SD card and booted phone into Hboot.
It found the zip file and started installing
BUT when it got to [4] System it evenually said
Fail-UZ , all other things installed OK but on reboot stuck back on the HTC logo.
If I go into bootloader I see this

Please could someone help me recover my Unbranded, Unlocked HTC Desire HD ???
Cheers
John
You only did radio s-off, you need eng s-off, to use fastboot commands, now you have rushed it and must downgrade to run the eng s-off tool did you do a backup of your stock rom? If you did restore it and then run the tool or try running a htc ruu.exe from fastboot.

Hi I did do a clockwork recovery backup of my original ROM before I loaded LeeDroid 2.2, any chance of pointing me to how I can restore my clockwork recovery? Is there a preferred ruu.exe to use??
Many Thanks
John
Update, Downloaded another PD98IMG.zip and this worked OK so now luckily back to square one!!

Hello,
my magic is in really bad shape after some bad decisions:
After wiping and flashing Yoshi's Gingerbread 7.1 the phone started to reboot itself randomly. It worked perfectly with previous versions of this rom. Reading the forums some people said it had to do with the recovery and how some didn't wipe certain partitions, and recomended to use Clockwork recovery instead. Here's the first bad decision, I was lazy and used the market app to flash it (rom manager?), and since then I couldn't boot into recovery any more.
Now, after wiping every partition I can't use adb, and being unable to flash anything with fastboot ("FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)"), what can I do?
With fastboot boot recovery it freezes in "booting...". I also tried flashing the recovery through terminal emulator, didn't work (throwed lot of hex addresses).

Thanks for your time!
Solved.
Used HTC's RUU. The phone's back to stock conditions. Will be rooting and doing everything else again soon.
Hi,
Would you be able to elaborate on where you download the RUU and how you used it to fix the problem? I've got a similar situation, my phone bootloops, the recovery is inoperable, but I can get into hboot. Thanks!
Hi,
You cand download the RUU from here:
http://www.htc.com/es/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=246&cat=2&dl_id=882
The install process is very simple. You only need to turn on the phone on fastboot mode and execute the .exe (on a Windows machine).
Regards
Do you know if this will be compatible with my phone and its current setup?
Here's my info from hboot

I'm not sure, I'd say not being this for vodafone. I have no clue how that would affect the mytouch. Maybe there is a RUU for the t-mobile version?

I've been using this tutorials to update my Android:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=838805
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530492
I was doing great, but after updating hboot my phone was not boot. What is more, earlier I couldn't flassh RA's recovery, so I boot it and after that my operatins system don't start and I can't flash it through RA's recovery mode.
So I did the unrooting with
RUU_Sapphire_Vodafone_GER_1.91.162.1_DRC92_signed_NoDriver
It looked normal. But then I was trying with Cyanogen, but this custom recovery wont boot. It wont boot at all.
Also I can't downgrade my SAPPIMG.nbh like this. I even made goldcard, but it still do not leting me downgrade (Older version error)
I want to flash my phone with new ROM, but geting deaper and deaper
What cen you recomend to me?
I tried unrooting my G2 to send back to T-Mobile,
but now i am on the stock rom, yet the cyanogen kernel etc with S-OFF
but my when my phone starts off it is stuck at the [email protected] splash screen.
when i press the menu and home buttons they make sudden vibrates as if the phone acknowledges it but i see nothing, just the G2 Splash screen.
can anyone help me fix this issue?
here is what i did to try to root:
installed Stock Pre-OTA ROM Rooted from here: http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-unroot-t-mobile-g2-htc-desire-z-complete-guide/
via recovery -- install rom from zip file
then i tried flashing the Stock Factory Bootloader / Recovery / ROM / Kernel
from the instructions but everytime it starts reading the PC10img.zip file it loads until the blue bar is full then goes back to fastboot.
it doesnt actually flash it.
now the phone is hung at the g2 splash screen.
can anyone help please?
no one has any suggestions?
hm... what shows your bootloader?
hboot number and still s-off? try to enter recovery and flash a rom of your choice / or if you can´t enter recovery try to flash a recovery.img through fastboot (you need to have a eng hboot)
i used the wiki guide for unrooting, but you first need to be able to boot into a rom again...
