Try this one, it worked for me, seems dangerous, but it seems like you have corrupted qhsusb
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7zbs6of_4I
Whis will allow you to enter to download mode, then you can use the lg flash tool.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/tools-srk-tool-useful-toos-lg-root-twrp-t3079076
Try nuking download mode and then entering it. If it doesn't work, try the unbrick.
By the way, using capital letters doesn't hurt.

Hey guys,
Yesterday I tried unlocking my phone using the tools provided on this forum, but somehow my device got hard bricked.
It is just laying there with a black screen. It won't turn on, won't boot into recovery or emergency mode. Nothing.
But when I connected it to my PC (running Windows 7), I did hear the sound that it recognised it as a device, it just couldn't find any drivers for it, so I wen't to look into that.
Landed on the debricking method using QPTS on the CyanogenMod forums and I managed to find drivers for Windows 7, so no need for an XP computer!
There were some other Optimus L-series brickers who gave up on the process, but I have still some hope left.
Did all the work that had to be done, decompiled V20D KDZ for our device, converted the first 512 bytes of the partition.bin to .mbn, installed QPTS, and so forth.
Hooked up my phone to the pc holding the volume-down button, and QPTS actually recognised it as a phone in downloading mode!
Then that's where I got stuck. Using the HEX files from this thread, I get the following error:
Code:
Status: Software Download Aborted
Errors: Could not determine the HEX file's scrambling method. The file is invalid.
Do any of you have a clue on how get things working again?
The QPTS tool only lists MSM7x30 (eMMC) as ARMPRG to use for the phone in dowload mode, not the MSM7x27a we are using. Might this be part of the problem?
Any help is highly appreciated!
Can you go to emergency or download mode?
Battery taken out, hold the vol up + connect to usb, connected to the pc. Then you will see in a green screen with emergency mode.
Once your done that, be sure you installed the LG drivers, flashed through kdz.
You can use homero's v20 stock, it's already had cwm and unlock bootloader and v20 baseband.

Nope, can't get into emergency mode, screen stays black, no matter what. So yeah, just flashing a new KDZ isn't an option. :crying:

Does the kdz flasher recognized the phone? If it's turn on and connected to the PC.

You should try launching emergency mode some more. Install lg drivers. Take out battery, hold Vol up button and plug in usb. Make sure port works.
Thanks for the replies, guys!

I can't turn the device on. When I connect it to the PC, Windows sees the phone as an 'Unknown Device', even with the latest LG drivers installed.
And by KDZ flasher you mean the BC2App, right?

Tried it a dozen times, with different combinations too. Only thing that happens is the sound windows makes when a device is plugged in.
Any chance a method like this would work? If the .img.zx file would be edited for our device ofcourse.
Hey all,
I couldn't get any further debricking my phone myself, so I just brought it to a repair shop. I'm hoping they can do something using JTAG or something.
Regardless of getting my phone working again (hopefully), I would still love to see if we can find a way to debrick hard bricked devices. If we can find a solution, I'll volunteer for writing a tutorial

Hello guys,
I searched on the net but didn't find any answers. I'll try to be clear : Today I flashed my international G2 with the LG flash tool. Everything worked fine. Then, when I tried to put a new rom on the phone (by using a custom recovery), I made a mistake and soft-bricked the LG. Now I can still access to the download mode, but the tool doesn't work anymore when i plug the phone in download mode. I tried to reinstall the drivers, but my computer doesn't seem to see anything...
What's wrong ?
Precision : At each time, my phone was rooted, but this morning when I succeed, nothing was written in the download mode and now, I see the word "rooted" in the bottom of the screen.
I tried to download via lg tools and flash something and failed.
when you restart the phone gave me the black screen.
I run ubuntu from the procedure
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
after trying this procedure, the phone remains fixed on the lg logo.
How can I fix ??? I pray you are in a panic ...
the computer does not recognize the phone more
:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
What phone model do you have? Sounds like you might have to boot into download mode and use the LG tool to go back to stock completely.

I have a d802
the phone is stuck on the lg logo.
As per the procedure would have to start the recovery but will not start.
Not part of the download mode.
I can get into factory reset but the pc does not recognize.
It seems to me a serious case. The guarantee how it behaves in these cases?
Dont you have recovery to flash new rom via ADB?
Try with ubuntu once again it will work out
ubuntu does not recognize the phone more.
The recovery is the original one.
Make sure the ports on the pc are set to 41. Do you have the drivers in the pc as well?

everything you need is here.
check again if you don't have USB connection of any kind. If you do have something in the PC responding to the G2 being connected, it isn't a hard brick and you can fix it with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
Otherwise you just have to do this short the caps thing. Be careful and renember that this is always a better option than staying with a bricked device. You can also try to give the phone to some experienced repaired and tell him about the method and how will it cost.

But it says:

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!
You must use the img files that correspond to the ROM you have installed before getting the problem to avoid breaking your phone. The link above is for 10b_EUR_16G firmware version. So don't use those files if your firmware version was not that one. Instead you should look for img files corresponding to the current version installed in your phone. If you don't know what version you've installed then don't use this method because you will break your phone.

You have to know which model your phone is.
Do you know your phone's IMEI? http://www.lgkdz.com/ Go here and it will get the file you need to download via your IMEI (even though it is risky to put the IMEI in the internet).
Otherwise you can just search for your kdz file by knowing what model you have and what stock rom you had last time. You can always revert to that.
Mine is D802 32GB, has V30b-EUR software. That is enough for me to get the correct kdz file even by searching in the links provided in the tutorials I mentioned in my last message

Do you have access to download mode? Since your PC recognizes the phone as MTP Device, I'm not sure but I think that's only possible if you have /system/ working since the other partitions don't have MTP support originally.
If you have that, go there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Flash with the tot method and you should be good to go.
But wait for someone who can confirm what I'm saying since I'm no expert.

samething with me please help
I recently got my hands on a bricked LG G2 D800 because i thought i was deemed unbrickable. I got the device the backlight showed life and that was about it. i managed to somehow get (this method i think) it to boot to the LG logo and than it jumps to fastboot mode.
Yea me!!! I got fastboot and this phone is as good as fixed. NO! fastboot does not work. It will absolutely not execute a command besides "fastboot devices" to which it brings up a fastboot device. Since i got fastboot my plan is to follow this thread to recover the device. i updated all drivers that i need for this device, nothing. Plain and simple, there is an issue getting fastboot to execute command. the commands appear on the device but it doesn't advance further.
Download mode. Yeah i get the download mode that I get is a "security error" so its not the traditional download mode. if i get download mode i can flash a .tot right? Wrong. Fails due to "model information check". i got the phone to appear under COM41. The .tot file is 'LGD800AT-01-V20c-310-410-FEB-02-2014+0.tot'. Drivers does not seem to be the issue at hand, unless maybe its the ADB/fastboot drivers which i also updated to newest version.
The next thing im contemplating if this method is worth the shot. I have it booting to fastboot. I will probably do this since its probably the only thing left to try. Going to set up linux now so i'll report back.
Any help/insight will be appeared and properly thanked for.
I also got security errors on an 802. I was about to leave the phone in download mode and ran the LG Mobile Support Tool to perform an upgrade recovery to get a stock LP ROM onto the phone.

Link(s)?
I just downloaded the LG Mobile tool from LG Canada. Just search for the d802 and download the program. The program should detect your phone and download the correct firmware.
http://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/software-manuals
I actually have the d802 and it worked with the LG mobile program from the Canadian website.

nope windows 10
I restored my phone using Win7 and I think there are some LG programs that do not work properly with Win8/10. I think one tool is the flash tool.
Does anything appear in Win10's device manager when the phone is connected?
