Latest official CM13 worked very good and didnt found one bug. Running stock rom again because of a little better sot and some great themes i cant miss using layer manager, but if you need all the extra's for customizing the ui, go for CM.
I changed to CM13 and while it fixed some annoyances I had with stock (SIM card not being recognized after boot, wallpaper changing to default, wifi always connecting to the weakest signal AP), the battery was far worse. Went from 0.5% per hour overnight and an average of 7 hours screen on time to 3% drain per hour overnight and 3 hours screen on time. Tried way too many tweaks and anything to fix it, but nothing would come close to stock rom battery.
Yeahhh .... but the battery drain is more in cyanogenmod as compared to stock firmware....any better battery backup in new cyanogenmod???

Just want to say thanks for this its is the best ROM out of them all as i have tried them all for the S4 mini, One bug i hate on 4.4 is opening a message notification and it remaining there but i don't seem to have this problem on your ROM, I found the boot logo to be a tad to big but that's the only problem i have with it so far please support S4 Mini.

I always wanted PA on my phone now I've got it. Couldn't ask for anything more just waiting for the rest of the features to be added by PA.
Glad you are here with us!!! :good:
You got official PA
FYI...
Serranolte and Serrano3g have been added to aospa-legacy, meaning you will be getting official builds from now on and can use the OTA app to update.
https://github.com/AOSPA-legacy/android_vendor_pa/commit/99120361c36189be4170e202b2adfe9657671158
Downloads will be available at this link when they are ready. Serranoltexx and Serrano3gxx folders would show up when the build is ready.
Hey dude. I'm not sure if you got my PM, UC Browser does funny stuff sometimes so I will post this here.
Just woke up a couple of hours ago. Testing AOKP now, everything seems to be working fine. At first it appeared that Bluetooth didn't work. After a reboot and installing gapps it seemed to be working. Not sure if that was due to gapps or just the reboot. Other then that everything seems to be fine.
P.S. I also tried Mahdi, excellent ROM, can confirm Bluetooth is not working there either, plus the gallery app crashed from the get go until a reboot
Pure AOSP gives issues sometimes. Will take a look when I update. Thanks for testing. I'll create a new thread when I get feedback for the LTE version.

ha ?! strange ...
Pure AOSP (like Nexus roms ) are généraly more stable than CM roms ..."in théory" .
And it will be perfect for users who want the simplicity on parameters, a pure google experience (like stock ) ...and a good "clean" base ( without "frills" ) for eventualy to personalize oneself for some people .
And for some people who like Touchwiz :add very goods Samsung Touchwiz theme + launcher will be great ! ==> it fully replace stock rom!
It's sure that when stock KK will be released for S4 mini by Samsung, with the code-source ( scheduled in May 2014...according to the "good" rumors enought reliable ) ==> a pure AOSP build will be the best choise for our phone ( lighten, performance and stability ) ....with a very good Customised Kernel for better phone ( a strong battery save ,without decreasing performance )
As far as i'm concerned ,i personaly wait this way for the future of my phone !
Otherwise ,there are stable CM11 ... but cyanogenmod have done many additional features on her rom .

RaymanFX is doing a really wonderful thing on the 910C but I think you're greatly underestimating the amount of work and time needed to get from here to a ROM that is 'stable' in the sense that you can do pretty much the same as in TW, without any issue's. I'd say end of the year would be really quick already.

I use CM as daily ROM and it is stable. Hardware video decoding and video recording are the biggest things which do not work. There are some problems with Bluetooth strength but nothing crucial. Expect that, the ROM works great. It is fast and much lighter than TouchWiz. So if you don't need described features, this soft is for you [emoji6]

Sure. This is the thread and all you need to know:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/n910c-cyanogenmod-12-sources-t3015717
This is where you can download the latest build:
TeamEOS.org
Bugs:
Sometimes you may experience bugs while playing music with headphones
Video recording doesn't work
Sometimes you might see a little glitch in recent apps
All of those are already fixed and will be patched and uploaded as a new build any day now.

So how I actually can do it? I have not done any of flashing rom too. What I check I only saw the last step as flashing the rom. Which link from ray man is the "rom" that I flash? Down there he suggest that if brave enough and familiar with some program but I don't know.
Hi there...is official cm12.1 available for note 4 smn910c now?? Thanks.
I have been with this device about 8/10 days now, tought i was not gonna feel the need to root, change rom or kernel... well i cannot do it, i feel the need, but i do not see any rom that can get my attention. All i wanted was a stable, battery friendly rom, it doesn't need to have xposed stuff, something like the stock rom, debloated with a custom kernel that would work in a way that i could undervolt overclock and all of that things. I do not mind not having N5 features even thou i like them... does anyone knows of a rom like this? Wich is the best kernel around?
I know i am allways asking things, but coming from another devices allways leaves me a bit lost as i do not know what's the best around. If you could take the time to answer i would be glad

I have tried about 10 ROMs and I really love the AICP ROM. It has about every feature anyone can possibly want and is very stable. I have been using it for about 5 months now with no issues. It has nightly OTAs and is the most feature rich ROM I have found. a couple posts down from the main posts has some tweaking suggestions for battery life and I have no complaints about battery life or anything else. Not stock like you were asking about but I would highly recommend this one.

Echoe rom. Hes not on XDA anymore because his work is always getting pinched so he has his own website.... My needs for roms is almost the exact same as yours.... Do this have a look at this pure note 4 rom.
http://www.echoerom.com/echoe-roms/n4-n910f/
make sure you download this version.....(28 October 2015) N4 Echoe Rom v15 [COJ3] and not the v 15.1 hybrid version for best stock. v15 is the best rom ever.
Reasons...
- Fastest
-Options to customize and change back to full stock feel
Overclock to 3.07ghz with most amount of tweaking (GPU OC also to 800mhz)
Very....Very... VERY Battery friendly.. ( Many user average 3 hours of webpages screen on time and only 10 percent battery usage...)
Erm....Bad time to ask.... What phone do you have.... n910f?

Download v 15 and not 15.1 ... because 15.1 has note 5 theme which has small issues atm.:good::fingers-crossed:
stay with stock, just root it.. i tried almost all roms, and none was to keep.. i like it clean, and not thrown in a bunch of stuff, and the batery and performance is amazing, once you clean the bloat and do some tweaking in services.. if not then probably kyubi for the note5, which is almost the same as stock, but still there are some small stuff that irritated me

hands down the best rom out now is the note 5 port kyubi rom from, im on 3.1 and getting 5hrs onscreen time and no bugs completely smooth....
This is probably a dumb question..
But is it possible to flash the system.img from stock over a CM 13 rom and keep user data? Or a combination of the various IMG files?
I'm just having a lot of instability issues with the nightlies and don't want to have to download the 35gb of music again now that I'm on 2mbs internet :crying:
I had gone completely stock including relocking boot loader - agree - non stock ROMS are less stable.

Appears I may have found the answer in this excellent guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
I am wondering if anyone can confirm if Google Music would still have all it's downloaded music? Or would flashing write over that, as they are protected/hidden/encrypted files?
Best guess
Going back stock will make it factory fresh
I.e. Bye bye downloads

Maybe don't use the nightlies and just use a more stable ROM? Your problem seems to be with nightlies being too unstable, well, that's the name of the game with nightlies. Maybe go for one of the other ROMs in the forum that offer much more stability? Won't be stock-stable but it will be pretty stable...

You're probably right. I'm just a little surprised that the Redmi Note 3's unoffical version of CM 13 was 10x more stable than the unlocked Google Nexus phone. Not blaming anyone or thinking I am owed anything. I just assumed since it ran so well on the RN3 that it should be near perfect on the N6P.
Any ROMS you reccomend that? Any reason not to just go stock+root+xposed?

AFAIK last CM snapshot (release) for 6p was in April.
If you want a stable ROM for 6p, choose one that is based on AOSP and not to heavily modified.
I've been using Pure Nexus ROM for awhile now and I find it very stable, if you find a bug and report it correctly, the dev is sure to try his best to fix it.
He also releases an update every month at least to include the security patches.
Stock ROMs can have bugs too and sometimes fixed in custom ROMs, they're usually more optimized too
+1 for pure nexus rom and xposed

I am using cm12.1 it has 3 minor bugs 1. Proximity sensory sometimes gets fastened, causes problem when in calls but it can be disabled 2. 3second of glitch in every new video that's recorded by the default camera app 3. It takes around 1 hour 45 mins to get fully charged, I have not found yet why that's so, when my phone was on miui v6.3.5 it just nearly took 1 hour or so...
I've been flashing Rom's since mid 2012 and this ROM is the most stable yet it's not miui or my rom {FreeFlow OS} (NIG. )
Some guys say that It's only for KK bootloader, If it is the case and you're on any miui version u can
1. Go to official miui forum
2. Get your ROM downloaded in correspondence with your Phone or Processor {whatever}
3. I won't be saying about the process of flashing a miui rom if you are already on miui
4. Download the ROM from the official site { REMEBER I SAID OFFICIAL }
5. Now comes the flashing process 【which every noob knows how to 】
6. I've not flashed Gapps yet cuz I literally don't need it because I've minimized the usage of my phone now a days. But if u want like u can flash but REMEBER that OUR PROCESSOR IS ARM64 bits ... Some guys have the phone but don't even now it ... The process of Flashing GAPPS is simple and it requires no bull**** only if you flash it after flashing the ROM
7. So what are you look down at ... Man u have done everything ... Make accounts start customizing
•IF YOU'RE STUCK SIMEWHERE DO PING ME, I'LL BE REPLYING ASAP
For some guys flashing a ROM requires good luck ... So, Good luck

I have tested CM13, CM14, RR, and others... all with battery drain problems.
I finally found a stable custom rom, without battery drains.
Mokee 60.1 - Android M

I am currently on Orion 2.7, had DU installed in past. With Orion (MM) all is good except battery drain issue when using GPS.
If you switch off GPS, no issues.

I am on CM13 20161031 build for a long time now. It is extremely stable and most importantly I am being able to use VoLTE as well. As for battery drains, overnight battery drain is at 1-2%. Using 4G drains battery as usual. Overall, the ROM is smooth and great. Use aroma gapps and you can save a lot of space. I love this one and highly recommend that you flash it. I am even using CyanogenMod recovery to get a complete CM feel to the phone.
