Does the US version have 3d touch?
Does the Chinese version have a FM Radio chip?
Does the US version have the capacitive buttons below the screen? I can't find any pics of the US version with these but plenty of pics of the Chinese version.
Can the higher spec chinese version with 6gb ram and 128gb storage work in the US on Verizon and/or T-Mobile?
Asked about capacitive buttons on periscope today and it was an unclear 'yes'. Hope to clearly confirm in webinar tonight.
From what I recall reading, the US version does not have force touch and does use capacitive buttons.

The Chinese model won't work on Verizon at all, and will only get up to 3G on T-Mobile (no VoLTE/WiFi calling).
On the webinar today they did confirm the US model has capacitive buttons.

shows a good image of the capacitive buttons
I guess it really doesn't matter since they announced in the webinar that the 6gb/128gb version will be coming to US eventually.
I think capacitive buttons are better than psychical.

you will have the option for both i think. I would rather have capacitive because I don't like the idea of amoled burnin for button icons.
I don't think ZTE is including both, just capacitive.

Not exactly. One of the chinese models did not have capacitive buttons (on-screen only), and maybe ZTE has an option in the settings to switch between the two (ala OnePlus 3).

My bum, it's more like $650 USD for the 6gb, $470 USD was for the 4gb ram 64gb rom version...
You need to read a bit more as the 4gb 64gb version is the ONLY one available on JD.com at the moment...

Neither can I but if you look the others are just Axon, no 7 anywhere and if you do select the most expensive (I believe it was about 3100 Yuan) then it goes into more detail. It does have the 4gb and 64gb displayed as there are no Chinese characters for those.
Be careful if you buy from sites like this or you might not get what you expect..
Sounds too cheap.

Awesome!
neither did I! Thanks for the heads up hehe
Like you, mines now ordered at Clove aswell
These Windows Phone 7 phones seem to be going quite cheap when bought on their own compared to other devices.

Why? WE have no idea how ram is used or affected on Windows Phone 7. It meets the minimum requirement and as shown on youtube, it seems to be quite zippy!!!
Exactly Monty Burns
At £440 the Venue Pro is a bloody good price. Considering the size of the AMOLED screen at 4.1" and portait QWERTY. I have a HD2 but longed for a hardware keyboard - the Venue Pro is just what I need!

do you guys know if there is a front facing cam on the venue or any other wp7 device?
Hey guys, I just made this video. tell me what you think, I know theres a few rough edges, but im trying to be more professional on my videos.
Heres the text if you dont want to watch it
International
Hey guys and welcome back to another video, here in my hands are 2 oneplus
one smart phones, like i said in my unboxing video one of them is a chinese
version and the other is an international version, so what exactly are the
differences? lets find out
So i'd just like to start off and say that spec wise you get exactly the
same in both. which includes the 5.5" 1080p display, snapdragon 801 processor
clocked at 2.5ghz, 3gb of ram and so on
the differences are minor, so lets start off with the OS.
The intertnational version comes with Cyanogenmod 11S, which is specificly
made for the phone while the Chinese version comes with the very chinese
Colour OS. which doesnt inculde the google play store any google apps. this
is very easy to change thkkough, installing CM11S onto the chhinese OPO is as
easy as flashing any other stock rom on a phone.
Turning it around we see that the 16gb chinese OPO has the white back,
which is what the international 16gb version has as well, the only difference
being is that the chinese OPO doesnt have the cyanogen logo on the back
because of like i just mentioned it comes with Colour OS.
Now inside the phone is where its a little different, the two phones come with
different bands for your 3G/4G. ive done tests and both 3G and 4G work here in
the UK on either EE or Three networks, if your on o2 or vodafone youll have to stick with 3G
If you're in america, 3G/4G works fine in america if your using the internationa model but
only 3G works with the chinese version.theres also a few threads on XDA where theyve managed
to unlock a few other bands to work as well, which ill leave under the like button.
thats all guys, theres only a few differences so if you havent got an invite
but you want one now then by all means go
for the chinese version. if you wanna know where to buy one without an invite,
thats coming in the next video.
if you liked this video then sunscribe so youll be able to see when i release a new video,

I thought you were talking about buying it directly from OnePlus site.
But these options have been pretty much available even before people with an invite could order theirs on Thursday, on sites like Ebay.
It appears to be a 15% markup (not including shipping), and the options are 2G and 3G, so no LTE?
On the upside, you can get it in white from there.

The 3G and 2G options you are talking about are 3Gig ram or 2Gig ram. If you read through the specs they all have LTE. The white 3gig option is the only one in stock ready for shipping the others are for pre-order.

Another site that I have used before (for other stuff than phones) has the white and black ones also, they claim to be china stock with the oxygen ROM flashed on it (instead of Hydrogen)
Just fyi and I guess I am seeking clarification
249USD is ~350AUD and this site is selling it for 350 AUD which seems great value
ps check your hangouts
I ordered mine at SpeMall on nov 4. Came in yesterday. White and with 3gb of ram.
I have no nano sim yet, so I haven't tested yet if LTE works.

Well now that I've bought you a UK version and it's on the way you won't need to worry about getting a Chinese version.
3G 16GB black: "Presell Product Lead-time: 2015-12-10". Forget it.
I cant find a forum or subforum for the Samsung A9 or A9 Pro. Why is that??
Because xda don't create a forum for every single device that's is on the market.
It depends how popular the device is and how many requests it gets. Also it's fairly new.
There loads of devices out there without their own specific forum.
You need to put your request to admin. However it's unlikely as you're already in the A series forum. Most you could hope for is it added here.
it should in the near future.
The problem is, a lot of A series phone have been specifically made for the standalone markets (chinese, india, etc), and unfortunately the their communities seem to have their own places like xda in their native language, hence why no people are requesting much info around here.
But that should change....the A9 Pro international variant is about to be released, and i am favouring it above S7 Edge and upcoming Note 6/7 products, it's above average performance that can be tweaked by twiddling, and with that huge battery, it may be the first android device hitting 3 days of battery with stock parameters.
seriosuly, shouldn't take long.

Perhaps you can help me decide. When the phone arrived, did it look brand-spanking-new? Or were there fingerprints all over it? After all, they had to manually flash the international version of OOS I'm assuming? and did it come in original packaging? Or do they just take the components out and just stick it in a random box?

Careful the Chinese version is missing a few of the bands we use here. Think o2 is fine but the rest need band 32 I think for lte advance so you may get slower 4g speeds if on Three voda ee or their mvno's.
Maybe you can unlock bands. Wonda mobile a great trustworthy store

The seal on the box was broken to upgrade the firmware but the device was still wrapped in its protective film. I'm currently on band 20 VoLTE and the device is identifying itself as the international version. I suspect the relevant bands were enabled/disabled with the ROM change.

Wonda mobile.
Question for those using chinese version in USA.
How is it working?
I want the green 256GB version and dual Sim. So going down this route might be my best option.
Only problem I see is if I have a screen issue, will be harder to return.
What do you guys think? Thanks for the replies.
I have used Wonda Mobile and returned a mobile with no issues, you pay for shipping if you change your mind with a fee but if it's faulty they will reimburse you.
I have ordered many times from Wonda Mobile, can't rate them high enough. My 8 Pro was shipped on Monday and I had it by Saturday, 12/256gb £100 cheaper......:good:
