[Q] Is there any way to add fast charging support without modifying stock kernel, like tweaks or something i like CM 12.1's fast charging , but that ROM is quite battery draining and unstable, J5 ROM for XCU is still buggy, and Stock & Prime Chosen is stable, but really slow at charging, so i need someone to teach me how, plz
how about battery?

I just installed the Dorimanx kernal and am loving being able to fast charge my phone from anything. Clearly the stock kernal is artificially crippling the charging rate somehow - why? How are devs disabling it?
I'm really curious about how this works.
Hi guys, just wanted to find out whether anyone on here has flashed ktoonsez kernel? Ive got a G900F running AllianceRom and was hoping I could get better battery life. Im not a heavy user, I use my phone for facebook, browsing the internet, whatsapp, and some light gaming (miniclip 8 ball pool ). If anyone has flashed this kernel or for that matter, any other kernels, please could you get back to me and let me know what your battery stats are like ? Thanks
Ktoonsez Kernel can improve battery life. Use the default profile and test it yourself. Pretty sure that you'll enjoy the improved performance and snappy feel.
Hello guys, can anyone help this newbie
My redmi 2 is running on Nexus Experience rom 10.2, this is my first custom ROM
I have been using this for two days and experienced a weird battery drain. It was decreasing quickly compared to stock ROM and when it reached around 30%, it suddenly dropped to 0%. Charge this takes forever and sometimes the screen becomes unresponsive (never experienced this with miui rom).
I had wiped cache, data, dalvik and battery since first installed . Only stock's application + messenger apps.
My main problem is just that weird battery drain, i love this beautiful stable rom though.
I guess something wrong with the kernel? Any suggestion for this ?
thank you i really appreciate your help.

Wow thanks for the advice. No more battery drop by using this KERNEL and I even get a better battery life and faster charging. It feels like using a stable rom without any bugs noticed
Hi there.
I'm on the outlook for a STABLE rro/layers compatible ROM for my N9005.
I've been using Touchwiz derivative ROMs for some time (such as DarkLord's S6/N5), as they tend to be really stable, and I find that the battery life is excellent (2 days).
I've been steering away from AOSP (etc) ROMs for some time, due to what - from my experience - is a great deal of instability (random reboots, frequently), and very poor battery life for the same usage (a recharge ESSENTIAL at the end of every day).
However, no matter how I dress the Samsung up (Nova launcher, Samsung material theme, Flat bars xposed extension), I never really can get it looking how I desire: I'd really like to get it looking very clean and dark clean and light)

So, can people suggest rro/layers compatible ROMs that are foremost stable and with excellent battery life?
Cheers
M
P.S. I have updated my modem to the latest Samsung firmware
You can use aryamod, audax rom, phonesis battery life is depending on kernel configuration not only on the rom you use. Find some tutorial how to set kernel for battery optimization, and you can albo use greenify apk for hibernate aps.
Which rom has the best battery life? I know stock is best but what's a rom that you know of that has good battery life? The one I'm using is just draining battery like crazy.
Motion Rom 5.1.1 + skykernel (i used about 20 roms for grand 2) Dont even try download "Noble rom" inside developer given cpu oc.
Sky kernel has bluetooth headseat bug
