well your device may ship with kit kat and if it does the easiest way to do things is root using IOroot25 and recovery with AutoRec also you should do a little searching some times and you can find threads like this to minimize making new threads with answered questions(not to be rude)
Flash a 4.2.2 kdz, root, flash recovery, flash rooted stock 4.4.2

Help! System takes more than 21GB!

Guys I was on SKROM for a while. Then I reverted everything by flashing tot and kdz and then now i flashed latest OptimusG3. But see how much space the system takes up!!
I have the d802 32gb model. Any help please? Who else is using OptimusG3 rom is this a bug or??
Edit: went back to full stock. screw this i will stay on stock kk without root and wait for official lollipop.
PS: G3 ROMs are not safe either cause your G2 thinks they are D855 (G3).

I got an email saying you mentioned me, so I rushed in to see if I could help but it seems like you got it sorted.
I think it's the lollipop ROM that's to blame, since it messes with the system partitions and partially replaces D802 files with F320 files. It's nothing like a normal ROM and that's why I have advised against flashing those lollipop ports
But like you noticed, flashing a kdz restores your original partitions
P. P. S -G3 roms are safer since they do not change partitions at all. The D855 thing is just a matter if build.prop not being adjusted accordingly.

F320K Return Back to Kitkat from Lollipop

I have installed Cloudy 3.1 ROM which is very great and smooth but I have some issues like notification sound is very low and I cant even hear SMS notification if I am outside.. on the other hand I am getting 2 hours 35 minutes on screen time from 100 to 5 percent of battery, which is not so good. I have Korean LG G2 F320K variant which was officially updated to Lollipop and than I installed previous cloudy G2 3.0 and then I flashed this one.
No I have only one question, that I want move back to kitkat ROM which would either be Cloudy Stock or Cloudy Flex as I have heard many good reviews.. So please suggest me the that which bootloader thingie I need to flash along with the flashing kitkat rom after cloudy 3.1.. there is return to stock method in which we need to flash return to kitkat zip but that is for D802... So please suggest me..ASAP I would be greatful for any help...
P.S i just want to avoid the traditional flashing the KDZ method...to return to KITKAT.. so please suggest a way forward to get back to kitkat..from lollipop

Hi, depends how you have installed your recovery:
If you have installed it for example with autorec v2 or twrp bumped by Blastgator, you have bootloader kitkat (because downgrade the bootloader) so you can flash a rom kitkat base.
On lollipop I have installed the recovery from f320_lp.apk and then I installed BUMP recovery.. so this means I can flash kitkat ROM now??
I have LG G2 D802 (I don't know if is the same for F320) and in general with twrp bump you can flash rom kitkat bump.
Now I don't now what you do to flash recovery and if everything is ok...but if you are not sure you can brick your device!
Best choice to return stock is always to flash kdz because reset all partition....
However for security wait other reply by F320's owner.

Cloudy g2 3.3 for D802 EUR questions

Hi folks
I'm kinda newbie here, I need your assistance
I have a D802 EUR version kitkat 4.4.2
I was able to root phone and install cloudy g2 3.3 but when I rebooted, phone was not working I had to spend hours to revive the phone by going to download mode and using the port COM 41 method, finally I installed a stock rom and phone is back to life
I don't wanna make mistake again, I guess I should have applied a patch for lollipop before rebooting which I haven't done. I'm kinda confused with what patch I should use, is it something doable to begin with.
1- here http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-...m-att-t3124809 they are reffering to this link http://blastagator.ddns.net/d800_rom_patch.php I'm not sure what file to flash?
or
2- here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g...-d802-t3137055 the guy said flash this patch D802_PATCH_GO_LP_V1.1_droidth.zip
Please shed some light on this so I can have my cloudy 3.3 up and running
I appreciate your help
