Check if you are able to access download mode.
If not, check if you can go to recovery.
If both fails, then follow this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
The battery. BTW you don't need the otg USB you can use adb command while on twrp.
Oh yea the twrp used many layer of locking you need to swap again and again

LG flash tool just stays at ready. Ive unplugged and replugged. Unplugged, powered off, plugged back in as download mode still stays at ready. So back to flash is out. Phone stuck at lg logo, but can boot to download mode, and twrp. Computer doesn't recognize twrp in adb sideload mode. I'm on windows 8, using the oem cable, and turned off the signature enforcement and restarted computer as well. So that's out. Otg is out as well I've tried exfat and fat32 on an 8gb san disk cruzer. I've used just the otg and ive used it in combination with a y--cable, both of which i've used before successfully. Also I checked the external sd folders for the otg and used the cat/proc/mounts in terminal. This post definitely sounds condescending and i'm sorry. This is one time when i would be so grateful to be proved a moron. The one solution i haven't tried yet is using the flash tool with the ota .tot file, instead of the shipping rom. What do I do?
If u can't get into recovery then revert to stock is the only option. Try holding power and vol down and press on screen where home button should be and it should take u to recovery and then u can use sideload with koush drivers and if it does not work then going back to stock is only option.

What are koush drivers? Any idea what im doing wrong with lg flash tool, because that isn't working, otherwise i would've went back to stock already.
Stock lg mobile drivers don't seem to help pc see ur phone in recovery mode so koush drivers or pdanet installed in ur pc can help solve ur problem.

Thank you so much. It was dumb to ask what the drivers were, i googled it, installed, and it worked. thank you so much.
I stupidly wiped everything before trying to sell my phone, i was unaware that it would remove the ROM. When i try to turn on the device i get stuck at the LG logo, and when i try to load a ROM using my flashdrive and an OTG cable, in TWRP it says 0MB for OTG. ADB in TWRP isnt working either, i have no more options. Please help im supposed to meet the guy in an hour and a half.

Download mode?
Hello. Few months ago I installed unofficial Cyanogenmod 11 on my E610. After updating baseband it worked perfectly. After some time I decided to restore my phone to the state after installing CM11. It worked no problem. Today I wanted to do the same, and after installing SuperSU and Texdroider DPI I rebooted my cellphone, and it stucks on the cyanogenmod boot logo. If I try to get to recovery mode it stucks on the LG logo instead of CM. Hard reset is not happening at all. I tried to connect my phone via LG User Support Tool and install kdz firmware, but no luck. Although when I connect my phone without the battery to my PC i hear the "ding" windows sound, and phone exists in device manager. It also creates some disc drive in my computer, but unfortunately it's empty. I think textdroider has changed the build.prop file, so the cyanogenmod is not able to start at all. Is there any possibility to get to the build.prop file and change it, so phone will start? Or maybe somehow I can reset my phone or reinstall firmware using my USB cable without entering usb debug or recovery mode? Thanks in advance for any idea :crying:
Put your phone in Emergency Download Mode : switch it off, hold volume down button while plugging USB cable (already connected to the PC).
Then use the Support Tool to go back to LG ROM

in these cases emergency mode should work
removing battery sim sd etc... connect your phone to the pc throught us cable pressing vol- it automatically boot into download mode and you can easily use kdz.
make sure you have the last driver from lg websites else kdz wont find your phone, and set emergency option in kdz everything else it similar to a normal flash
I own an LG G2, i recently got this phone yesterday from a person on craiglist. Don't worry i didn't pay him i gave him my older phone i dont use anymore. SO This phone is practically stuck in Firmware Update (As i read that post) , i spent about a day and half figuring it out and what happens is that.
I CAN get into recovery its TWRP v2.7.0.0 by Turning off the phone first and then Holding Vol UP, Power, Vol Down at the same time until the LG Logo comes up and then i am still holding them down, and it says Recovery Mode please wait and bam TWRP.
But heres the problem i can't mount my OTG and i can't ADB Sideload. So what do i do from here?? this guy rooted this phone and soft bricked it i think? and he wiped the phone but i also did when i had the chance and wiped it completly via recovery.
The only way i got into "Download Mode" / "Firmware Update" was to take the back cover off and unscrew a few screws on the side and unclip the battery for a few seconds and then plugged it back in and then I held the VOl UP button and plugged my USB into the phone and the other end is in my PC. My phone says "Download Mode please wait" and then prompted with the Firmware Update screen. BUT my pc doesnt detect the phone whatso ever and i've already installed drivers and etc from this forum ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 ) its the 2015 method that i downloaded.
so what do i have to do, i havent tried using different usb cables, the port seems fine to be plugged in since in TWRP it says 84+ so i meant its charging right? help me out guys idk what else to do or flash or anything.

I think the methods leave out that you need to change your phone to com port 41 on device manager > ports in order to be detected. Then you need to unplug it and reconnect to computer when the program shows waiting for device, with the phone in download mode already.
Also, to get to recovery you hold vol down and power, when the LG logo comes up release power and hold it again until the reset screen comes up.
To get to download mode you turn the phone off then hold up while plugging the USB cord in with it connected to pc... This launches download mode.

Well you see man , I cant change anything in Device Manager since my phone isn't being detected. It didn't install drivers fully fully since my phone isnt recognized. Even in TWRP or "Download Mode/ Firmware Update" Nothing happens no drivers installing or anything even but it does boot it up to that point....and its just normal boot up i see the LG logo and my led goes from green to blueish in a smooth transition and it doesnt stop until i turn it off. The method i got into recovery is holding all those buttons down its not a problem for me to get into it. I also have another problem it doesn't seem to want to mount my usb otg by samsung.
what do i do
So i tried the otg route but I can't mount it. I have everything connected and once I go into recovery to mount usb-otg, nothing happens.
I just need some way to get a ROM.zip in my phone
Computer does not recognize my phone.
Stuck at LG logo unless I enter recovery.
Sideload doesnt work.
OTG doesnt work.
I've tried at least 4 different guides with no luck.
Why don't you manually install drivers from online?
ive tried

ive tried that already and it doesnt list anything from the LG folder.
I realized the phone will say start the adb sideload feature. so, when i put the "abd sideload file.zip" command on my pc i just wait a few minutes and it says daemon not running on port 5037 and then start successfuly and then error :device not found.
it can seem to reognize my device wether its in recovery, or download mode or fastboot mode.
Try again in other pc that has never been conected to an LG Phone before. It can perfectly be a conflict with drivers installed in the OS.
I've tried man
AFter i cleaned the usb port in one of the chats or forums, i waited a day ovbiously without turning on the phone and cleaned the usb port with alchohal and a q tip and i plugged my phone into my computer and my PC detected something but it only says "Unknown Device" everytime no matter what pc i use it says that. nothing else. but before that none of my pcs would detect theirs a phone plugged in at all.

No there is no problem with your USB cord or port. You need to do following steps.

Ok so I was trying to install CM13, so i read something on a forum (I think XDA), and installed this zip that I downloaded from the website then installed the zip from my custom recovery, and then restarted, and I could boot into CM13, but then I lost my custom recovery! (TWRP). When I try to go to the factory reset screen when the phone is off, I select all the Yes delete data stuff, because that's how I got into my custom recovery, but now it says secure boot error, certification error, etc. and just boots into a black screen. So the only option that I am stuck with, is i figured how to get it into the firmware update mode (download mode), but no custom recovery, and when I connect it to the LG Mobile Support tool, It doesn't say it is connected, I have installed the drivers like 3 times, and my phone keeps connecting and disconnecting from my computer (I can hear the ding sound each time it disconnects randomly and connects randomly. I have no idea what to do. Am I out of luck? Pleeeeaseee help!!!!
LG model D803 Canadian version, was running 5.1 CM12 just fine before until i decided to update and this crap started happening
