Swipe notification = Mark as read? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi everyone, is there any way to mark a notification as read when swiping it? I have goodlock and root. I tried looking for some xposed module but couldn't find any, there's xnotification which kind of works for whatsapp but can't install that with goodlock and doesn't work super well even without it. Thanks!

did you get it to work? I've moved from iPhone and missing this

Multiwindow in Android 4.3 update, disable fullscreen?

I just updated to 4.3 and noticed that one change Samsung made was to make multiwindow always fullscreen, where the notification bar is hidden. I prefer seeing the notification bar. I've looked for solutions to change this, including xposed modules, but so far haven't found a way around this. Anybody have a workaround for this?

Hack/Mod for disabling Quick Pulldown notification toggles on Oxygen?

I know there is no setting on Oxygen to disable the Quick Pulldown, and its driving me absolutely insane. I am constantly pulling it down because I use my phone one handed a lot, and use my thumb to pull down the notification shade which is on the right side of the screen!
There is a setting in GravityBox that allows you to disable it, but it only works on stock android and CM variants. It does not work on Oxygen. Has anyone found a mod, Xposed module, text file to edit, ANYTHING, that will allow the disabling of this major annoyance?
So happy to see this question, then saw there was no reply
This does my head in also!
Hi,
I have the same issue also my little son uses Quick Pulldown in lock mode to access the guest account and delete the photos and other items.:silly:
It annoyed me too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...t/xposed-oneplus-2-oxygenos-specific-t3242085
Someone posted an xposed mod to disable it. Check out development section

How to deactivate Nav bar on S8 Oreo to use gesture control (exynos)

Hey everybody,
I searched around a lot for this but couldn't find anything that worked...
Basically I want to use gestures without the nav bar showing up at every upswipe...which it unfortunately does with the built in hide option and all those immersive app stuff.
I came across an 0pt.navbar.apk or something like that which in January seemed to only work for nougat and not oreo....
There doesnt seem to be any other apps/ adb commands/ apk files getting you around rooting
Pls help me guys, thx so much in advance
Guys pls if the answer should be somewhere around here pls send me a link or something thx :good:
I'm looking for the same. I had it on note 8, great. But that apk does not work in oreo and you do not need root. I hope a help with alternative or update of it.
Any new stuff? Maybe a new version of 0pt.navbar.apk? Thx guys

There also is a Magisk Module "Hide Navigation Bar" that works
Yo guys the new XDA app (navigation gestures)presented in yt does not work for Samsung experience android 8.0... Ma bar still keeps showing at upswipes.... Is there still no option to disable it and not only hide it?? I mean Samsung already has that hiding built in so you get more screen real estate... But at an up swipe it comes back which makes is it kind of an unsuitable solution for gestures.. Pls help- thx

Navigation Bar disapeared when getting rid of Navigation Gesture App on my Galaxy S8

Hello world~
I've been trying your XDA's Navigation Gesture on my Samsung Galaxy S8 (which is great ) but for some random reasons, it stopped working; like the pill was still here and I still could do the movement but it had no effect at all... so I thought just reinstalling the whole app thing would fix the bug... but no, it didn't! Instead, the Navigation Gesture still doesn't work and my initial NavBar just disappeared (Idk how to get it back). So now I have 2 problems! Can someone please help fix my phone, it getting really annoying.
Thx by advance.
To get the nav bar back disable hiding the nav bar and re enable it from the app
But first use root or adb to give it permission

So I need first to give all permission back (including adb one) before disabling `hide navbar` and then I can delete the app?

I have seen the notification somewhere while enabling the gesture which says "Remember to unhide the navigation bar before uninstalling". Install the app, give the app permissions, unhide the navigation bar, and then install the app.

Immersive option with rooted device?

Hello everyone. Good morning guys, We already know that it is not possible to completely remove the status bar without root or through third party programs. It's really frustrating that you use apps or games with a dark bar at the top and you can't enjoy the full screen. Samsung really is very dumb not to give the user the option to choose how they want to use their own phone. So I'm seriously thinking about rooting the device, but I wonder if it's really possible to hide the bar in root mode.
thank you all for your attentionIs
This should help:
