Yu Yureka Feedback ?

Hi Friends,
What's the final conclusion on purchasing this Yu Yureka smartphone ?
Features sounds great specially like Oct-core processor, 2GB RAM , etc.
And do we have lollipop upgradable ?
I'm planning to purchasse this smartphone , any suggestions for me.

Just go and grab it. I am using this phone from 5 days. It is just awesome. As per yu forum it will get lolipop update...

Bro dont even think of buying it bcoz its just a piece of brick...like only features r gr8 and nothing else bcoz even its stock firmware has bugs....and sometimes back button doesnt works so we have to restart the phn....Truly a crap phn

Or you can sell your device on Swappa and get something else, OR you can learn something and provide to Development, vice posting in this manner. You may not have meant to post in such a demanding manner, but it comes across as such...
After all this is a learning/development site, you can try and do for yourself, or provide something back to XDA vice "Ordering".

looks like s7 has finally been left behind.

s7 has no more support... im boring with s8 roms. and i have terrible baterry drain on any rom

Note 8 full ported rom available in samsungvn.com. Mobile network is not working at the moment. Otherwise its a good port

There is a rom on 4pda too. Didn't have time to test it. From what i heard sac23 is working on a port too, so just wait.

tried the note 8 port here
but keep in mind bugs are:
- some camera modes not working
- backlight does not turn on
- setup ui messed up.
you have to use a mouse and press where the skip should be. because it is hard to setup. after that change the display resolution to 2k and everything will be fine.

I got 4G and VoLTE working here on G530H
The performance is very smooth , as smooth as silk
The screen suddenly become 4k as well

Does the rom also downloads ram and storage?? I want a ROM that can download camera mega pixels and ram. I also want a working flight mode/airplane mode so I can fly on a airplane. Thnx lmao :silly:

Android Go is not an OS or a rom it's just a batch of Gapps that will be available by early 2018. Android Go will include lite version of Google apps and the playstore will only (not a 100%sure about that) contain lite version of your favourite apps.
P.S Correct me if I am wrong.

Nah, according to a recent phone call with a Google Support specialist, Android Go is Android Oreo for low-spec phones. It's not a Gapps package

s9 rom port

I assume all of you know the galaxy s9 is released, and it has brought some cool features. I'm asking myself, would it be possible to port the s9 rom to s8? It would bring some nice features, like slow mo background, ar emoji(i think), intelligent scan(i think) , enhanced camera app and a lot more. Please give your opinion of that and if it would be possible to have those features on our still fantastic device! Anyone who think he can do this??

Someone will probably will once the firmware drops, nor everything can be ported though as our hardware might not support it, we'll see how things go

are there so much hardware differences? other than the back camera and the normal stuff, there aren't many things changed. Intelligent scan must be portable. maybe samsung will release it for s8 with android p, who knows?? I'm just thinking, would treble give some problems, since s9 has ot and s8 doesn't?

Stuff like intelliscan will be fine, but the s9 has extra sensors on the front aswell, but you know we have good devs, may be they'll be able to port the stuff over

it does? i didn't hear anything about that?

So far, as I know, the features S9 has is related to hardware (like, aperture changes for camera) and also sensor that makes samsung-style animoji available. So, fingers crossed.
Besides it, I think everything already got covered up on S8 & S8+.

In the latest Oreo beta for 950U (CRB8), there is actually a package called intelligentscan. I assume it will eventually be activated, if it is not already.

My Samsung Galaxy J5 is not detecting more than 2 touches

Guys I own a Rooted galaxy j5 and one of my friends told me to try 3 finger claw controls on pubg mobile lite and i did all the necessay things and when I started playing the game I noticed that the the device was not detecting 3 touches at a time. Plzzz help.

Dude it's about hardware not about software
J5 doesn't support more than 2 tuch and you can't do any thing about that

Actually your wrong. The device has 4/5 touch capability (can't remember exactly) but isn't enabled in default kernel.
A kernel could be compiled for this but as you probably already know the device isn't exactly a flag ship so the added touch would probably cause a lot more problems
