To all - please help !!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
please help me, after upgrading my phone to various 6.5roms last night-all was successful, and im wondering why before going to sleep, the last rom i upgraded it stuck to " tap the screen to set up the phone to windows " then nothing happens after i tap the screen.
Next day, i'd try other rom, but then same happen, it stuck to " tap the screen to set up the phone to windows."
uhuhuhuh, was my phone broken?????
Please help.........................................

Give more details plz.....
Anyways here are some suggestions
1. If in the tap screen the screen goes white then just guess the position of the arrow and tap in middle and u will see all.
2. Or try to charge your battery then try to flash a working rom....

Thanks a lot sir, what I did was I just take out the battery and memopry card for about 30 minutes, and flashed again the ROM, it's all okey now.

Lol, Btw hope to hear new lite builds from you soon, check out Andrewsh ROM using Asus P525, latest ROM 28217, its very nice and had been using his updated ROMs for more almost 2 years.

That type of rom i have already made and using it but it has no bluetooth coz i had to remove bluetooth for working today setting etc...
I wish that opal prob soon get resolved so that i can share rom with u all. No one is sharing the secret who have figured it out like nguoc although i have requested him lets see if he tell us or not...

But rem you yourself think thats not fair. As who taught them all these cooking stuffs offcourse our xda then when we are asking something why they cant share? Are we asking money to them? Just how to fix a problem that many are facing..

I need guidance! Gionee elife e7 mini

Hello guys,
After reading lot of reviews I have changed my mind from buying Htc 816 to gionee mobiles. Around my budget and requirement I found gionee e7 mini a best suitable for me.
What I need to ask is about it's 1gb RAM. According to me it should be enough. I am not a hard core gamer. Infact my current phone don't have enough memory to run any of most games so I have been away from gaming since last couple of years. What I mostly use it for surfing, calling, watsapp,etc.
So is e 7 mini sufficient for these activities?
Also what is overall feedback about Gionee as a so called "Chinese" company. When Micromax's Canvas series was out, I read lot of god reviews but after few months it was turn table. So I don't want to regret by going after a Chinese brand. Your suggestions are more valuable!

Finally my baby is in my hands now!!! Took a long while to make this decision and Just hope it will not disappoint me!!
1st impression: wow! whatta master piece!! Looks a lot premium and once can hardly guess it's a Chinese mobile. I guess they are redefining the "Chinese mobile tag".
Most impressive thing to mention, they have service centers in almost each district on Maharashtra and I never expected this! Just fingers crossed and I will update my experience on this thread with my elife e7 mini

Updates for S5.5 is coming later this month or early next month, so to say don't expect updates is not correct.

They have been coming for 3 months now.. It's almost time for the next Android version and we are still stuck on a version 2 and a half years old..
Not to mention all the custom roms and kernels that we have.. Thanks to them releasing the kernel sources..
Moreover they just released 4.3 for the lte version of e7 now. When they promised 4.4..

OK. I wasn't aware of the updates or promised updates for E7 but I have heard from a very reliable source that update for 5.5 is coming on 27th. He gave me a very specific date but I still take 2 weeks plus/minus.

You gotta start understanding sarcasm mate!
And no.. It was quite useless.. It has the msm8974pro.. I don't think we can use it.. It did boot up once though.. But nothing much was working.. Extremely laggy. Probably it was clocked at 2.5GHz.. Not sure.. Needs more work nonetheless..

Hi ,I have updated my e7 mini to kitkat too..But the weather app doesn't update the temp for me.
Also sometimes I receive a message and when I open it from notification it's gone.
I also feel the battery back up has decreased a bit after kitkat update.Have u faced any of the issues.
It's surprising for such a great phone there are almost no users/developers on xda

Have you checked weather app settings? There is an option you need to turn on called "automatic update". it's working fine with me.
Also I have noticed improved battery backup. I am not sure what is wrong with your device.
Well yes, I too have the notification bug. It shows "unread count" even if there are no new unread SMSs. I asked to their service center and they said it's "operator's issue. not ours" lolz! dumbass!!
Anyways I am working on a custom ROM and soon it will be available here.

Yea I turned on the automatic update..Now it's updating.But compared to other weather apps it really shows different temp..Anyway it doesn't matter..I think for a few days my battery drain was kinda unpredictable or sometimes it would come down rapily all of a sudden..But now I think it's way better ..No compaints [email protected] issue..It's definitely a bug.Even Gionee India tweeted they were aware of this issue..It's a great phone.Really sad to see almost no developers on XDA...At least we have you ..Also are you able to root after Kitkat update?

I found a temporary solution for the message bug.
1.Go to settings>> apps
2.Roll over to "All apps" tab
3.Find Novi launcher>> clear data
4.Find messaging app>> clear data
5.Reboot your device.
##########Caution ##########
By clearing the data of Novi launcher, all folders you have created will be gone and you will see all of your apps scattered. So you have to take the pain to re categories them.
By clearing data of messaging app, all settings will be restored. You have to again customize them according to you.
###########################
Though this is not a permanent solution, still you can get rid off that irritating message count notification.

Yes u should go for yureka sure..
I am using..its owsm..battery backup is great..1full day its working with game.whtsapp.fb.
Heating is slightly not very much..if your buy 50k phn then its also heat then why not this one.

problem
I am using the phone micromax yureka but the only problem is frequent restart though the phone is not in use and screen is locked...
I am using two sims at a time ...
I dont know or i cant a find a reson for the restart....
If anyone is having the same problem please do repost to this thread with full phone usage details to figure out the problem ...
but i won't tell that you shouldn't buy yureka because at this price it's just more than awesome and i believe that the update will fix the problem or else i will change into a better or a appreciable rom ....
you do can buy that phone .... because it's worth a phone for the price :good::good::good::good:

Camera is good .. it just sucks a bit in low light..
and IMO lenovo a7000 wont have as good development as yureka..
i would definitely recommend yureka above lenovo a7000

i am using now lenovo a7000...its comparatively slimmer than yureka camera is not that great but display and battery is nice ...sound in head phone is good ..

Gyroscope sensor

Hiyas i have a Samsung Galaxy Prime G531F but it dont have gyroscope and i want to add it manuality.My question is some one are trying to mod the phone to add gyroscope ?

...i don't know if you are trolling or you didn't pass the 5th grade but you can not add a function if the hardware doesnt support it...

Dude.. Its pretty simply.. Just goto sammobile and download s7 edge firmware and flash it in... Now you are gonna get the gyroscope and also you are gonna get a flying mobile with holographic screen and keyboard

Dude the specification your saying is for 5.1 on the version 6.1 there is 16TB ram 98TB storage with 1.88THz Samsung 99999 Exynos processor.... And don't forget 9999Gigapixel camera with quantum flash and 999 SIM support

But S7 has android 8 so it has 190PB ram and 900YB of SSD and if I'm not wrong a whole googol of SIM Support. And we must not forget about 19435322YHz so we can run minecraft.

Oh I am extremely sorry... After upgrading to android 7.0(a.k.a nougat beta 2) of Samsung s7 edge +-+-+ my phone turned into a brick... Now I am crying :crying::crying::crying:

Oh, Well I will help you out!
1) If your Samsung is a Sony, go to your PSP, get a pandora battery and insert it into your phone... Done!
3) Get a hammer and try to place your HDD back into your phone... Done
18) If nothing above works, try to peel off an electric cable off your wall plug and connect it into your battery, it should work fine now

Worst case scenario will devolve to a iPhone

You can emulate a gyroscope through an xposed module . You should have a rooted device . Here's the link

No. The device is too outdated and its s**t design makes you hate this phone even more + can bend very quickly. I'd suggest you to save more money to buy a better phone and not a 3 year old one!

Have weak points, but is good smartphone. For normal use very good, looks fine and works fine.

Hi, I think my P8lite was a great buy, I have had it for just 3 weeks, got it second hand for $85 (NZD) in good condition. At first I was thinking it was not a good upgrade from my old phone (vodafone smart prime 6 VF895) but the more i use it im liking it more.
Battery life is the only thing I could think to improve, its not terrible just not the best
