Problem: Cannot change my lock screen wallpaper. It's stuck.
Phone: Nexus 6P, Unlocked (not rooted), Android N (NPD56N)
I'm hoping this is just a bug in the developer build of "N" and will go away when official release is out. Anyone else experiencing this on their phones? Any idea how to correct?
If I knew where the active wallpaper file or code is I'd root and try to get in there and mess with it... but I don't.

Any solution for this? Same thing happened to my 6P last week. Lock screen is different than my wallpaper (which I normally would like!) except the lock screen photo is not centered and is driving me nuts. But I can't change it. Using Nova Launcher, but tried Google Now launcher as well.

Download and use the nexus or pixel launcher to long press and change wallpaper. It will give the choice of home, lock, or both.

I dont know if this has already been discovered by others but i found a solution to an issue i was having. I have always wanted to use a custom lockscreen but every one i would try to use, the factory lock screen would show up for a bit first and then the new one would show up, which just irritates me.
I found that if you download and install no lock from the market, it will block the factory lock screen but the aftermarket one will still work!
A small thing but it solved one of my nitpicks and allowed me to finally customize my lockscreen.
If you dont have one yet i recommend wp7 lock, pretty clean in my opinion
widgetlocker has this built in...
+1 widgetlocker
I hate sliding left to right so I switched to the Sense lock and now I can swipe down.

hmm odd, last time i used widgetlocker i still had the stock lockscreen popping up right before or during the widgetlocker lockscreen. When did they add this feature? Still its helpful for me because i dont particuarly like widgetlocker, i like the more simplistic approach.
Widgetlocker works just fine with my Droid X. I never see the stock screen. Only issue is the stock lock screen is no longer smooth (sometimes have to swipe 2 or 3 times) with GB update so it also effects widgetlocker.
I have no idea why this has happened, but for some reason on my Nexus 7 (do not have this issue on my Galaxy Nexus running CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies), when I try to interact with a widget on my lock screen, the widget goes to the background, and the lock turns white highlighted with a box around it (like it wants me to unlock the device first). This pretty much renders my lock screen widgets useless. Does anyone know why this is happening or a setting I need to fix? My Nexus 7 is stock Android 4.2.2.
I noticed this same issue with my Note 5.
And it's only this one wallpaper. But a paid one and one of my favorites.
The wallpaper works fine. Then comes root and modified stock rom and every time I open it I immediately get the crashed message for that wallpaper.
Any ideas on where I could start digging to figure out what's going on?
Any similar experience recent or in the past?
I feel very silly since I know that I know my way around Android, but anyone know where screen pinning is on the Axon 7? Looking at the security tab under settings there is no screen pinning option and searching reveals nothing in the settings app. Stock ZTE ROM B27 A2017U. Thanks!
Bump
@J-Pod There is this screen lock thing for apps so you can't get rid of it.

That's smth else... Screen pinning means that one can't leave the app that has been pinned to the screen...
For me it was actually very useful on my last phone when I passed it to children and wanted them to stick with the open app or game rather then to mess around in my phone.. A pity that it seems to be unsupported..
Ah OK. I don't see it in settings.
I have the screen pinning option in my recents list, but I don't see the option in settings.
I could swear it was there before, so it might be missing in the B27 firmware.
B29 should be available soon - hopefully the option will return.

Just updated to b29, still no screen pinning
Anyone know if there is a nova launcher shortcut or ADB command that can enable it? Or is it completely torn out of the build?
So I factory reset my phone to improve it. I have a few issues going on but the biggest is that my lock screen moves outwards whenever I am on the lock screen. I have tried to disable wallpaper motion but I do not even have that option in wallpaper settings. I uninstalled Live Wallpaper with Kingroot but that did not help me at all. I have already unrooted my phone so any non-root fixes I would highly appreciate. I just want the wallpaper to stop moving! Thank you so much in advance for any help!
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime running on Android 5.1.1.

It's kind of hard to explain. Like when I am on my phones lock screen it is like my wallpaper is zoomed in, and then it will move (like zoom out) to the normal size I set it as. This does not happen on my home screen, just the lock screen.
