Guys, I have issues regarding google maps. Whenever I download a offline data, the maps are being deleted automatically after a day a two and Google maps getting reset.
I downloaded offline area and opened google maps only to see the intro page "accept and continue" and no offline area.
I am using note 4 n910c, dn5 0.6 running Android 6.0.1.
What seems to be the problem?
Thanks.

I have a very strange problem with my Atrix.
When I upgraded to 5.3.0 Maps I was able to use the check in feature...Then it mysteriously disappeared from Google Maps. I was able to get it back by re-installing and updating google maps again...and then it disappeared again in about a week. Short of downloading and reinstalling Google maps every 7 days I want to find out if this is a problem on my phone, or someone else has noticed similar behavior.
--Edit--
One thing I just tried was going into Application Manager and clearing all the data (Then having to re-log in)...This brought check-in options back.
did it again
This morning my check-in ability is gone...Even clearing the data, rebooting the phone and reinstalling the applicaton updates did not fix it this time.
I can't use GPS on Google Maps. When I click on the gps lock on button, it says "Please enable Google apps location access" even though I turned on location services and checked both the check boxes. Anyone have a fix to it?

Reload the rom? Does the GPS work in other apps like Waze?
This happened to me with my Nexus 7 - Google Maps would only work with a data connection (WiFi) available. I tried everything - clearing data & cache, uninstaling and reinstalling updates, all to no effect. All other GPS-related apps worked fine. I ended up doing a factory reset and that fixed it.
FIXED
Fixed by turning on location services by going into Google Now settings and enabling location services...
I was running on a Nexus 4 and I just bought a Galaxy S 5 Gold and I'm so excited. Unfortunately, I'm having two major problems.
1- update could not be downloaded due to an error 920 [when updating the existing apps on phone like Dropbox or Chrome!]
2- Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly. [For my gmail account that has my contacts/calendar/drive/keep]
I've searched all over the web and tried everything. I tried:
1- Turn off Wifi, Turn on Wifi
2- Clear Cache - Clear data from Google Play Store app
3- Reboot
4- Reset phone (Twice!) and try again.
and nothing is working. I noticed that if I turn of the WiFi and try to update using the 3G connection, it works properly. The error only appears when I'm connected to WiFi. Keep in mind that I can browse and use the internet normally so the phone is indeed connected to the internet when connected to WiFi.
I'm literally close to tears. Any kind of help will be appreciated !!
Try to clean cache, then remove Google account, re-enable Google account and this should do it. Worked for me.

Try clearing Google play store and play services data. Clear data for instant apps too. Check whether any app is blocking data use of WiFi.

I forgot to mention Google services framework too. Clear all data of those apps which are mentioned above along with Google services framework. After that, reboot instantly. If that also doesn't help, remove your Google account from your phone and add it again.

I have a similar issue but I can only use playstore when using a VPN only otherwise nothing will download
Please Give the solution....???????
Hi i also have the same problem as this. Every time i try to download big files in playstore error happens. (usually after i let the phone sleep) ps my wifi settings is always on.
I have a similar problem but it only happens in the Wi-Fi network of the company where I work, other devices can download from the Play Store with that network but MI A1 does not download any application, but with the Wi-Fi of my house if you download from Play Store, I really do not know why.

I have also experienced a flicker of the screen when I use the camera and sometimes when I type on the keyboard. Is anyone else going through this problem too?
TL,DR: Google Maps location sharing suddenly stopped working between two Moto G4 Plays, but they can still location share with me. What's going on?
The facts:
I have a Google account and am logged in to Google Maps. The same goes for my parents. I have a Samsung Note 5, they have Moto G4 Plays. We've all updated to the latest Android versions available (7.0 for me, 7.1.1 for them). We've all updated Maps to the latest versions possible.
We previously had location sharing working just fine, each of us could see the other 2. 2-3 weeks ago, they stopped being able to see each other, but they could see me, and I could see them. They can each successfully location share with my wife (Samsung Galaxy S7, android 8.0.0). When they try to share their locations with each other, they get a message saying that the recipient doesn't have a Google account, and that the share can only occur via an emailed link. That email option is only good for 3 days at a time.
I've tried fiddling with settings, reinstalling Maps, logging them out/in to Maps, clearing Maps' app cache, and rebooting the phones... No success.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any other ideas to try?
Thank you!
